Boots 5 day early test reviews

Hi,
I was just wondering if the Boots 5 day early pregnancy tests are known for evap lines? Or has anyone had any experience with them.
I have taken one today at 10dpo (not fmu) and can see a vvfl.

Hey everyone, jumping in with my own boots test from today! What do we think? I have been TTC with endo for almost 2 years and I'm so scared to get my hopes up, but this is my 10/11dpo test. Both me and hubby think that the line is pink 🤞🏻

@Spencellor Can I ask how you’re getting on? I’m currently 11dp5dt and my tests are similar to yours. Obvious but not dye stealers and im absolutely panicking over them! I’ve convinced myself they aren’t dark enough at this stage.

Yeah that’s a good line!! How many weeks & days would you roughly be? We done a frozen egg transfer so today would make me 3 weeks and 5 days! Xx

At night time, pretty much non existent, lines are still very faint (assuming because I have a really high fluid intake haha) but progressing every morning! Yesterday we had positive clear blue digital rapid detection & negative weeks indicator from the same urine. Today we have positive both and a good strong line! Xx

Hi everyone, so I had an mmc 6 weeks ago. Bleeding stopped and got my negative test on 23rd November. Had little spotting ever since but nothing major. Got a solid smiley on 2nd December and dtd a lot during the week leading up to that. This Monday just gone I started bleeding and thought it was my period, but it’s different to normal and I’ve had no cramps which I always get, the blood is more dark and sticky than flow. Anyway, I’ve felt a bit odd so I did a Boots test today and got this?! Help, think I’m going crazy! I’m wondering if I’ve had a chemical but in any case I think I’ll call EPU tomorrow?

Yeah totally get that! I’m reading todays tests wet, within time frame so I’m not too concerned if yesterdays darkened up when drying! Fingers crossed for progress✨

@Ks8895 well the line looks darker even though you're comparing wet to dry, I would avoid comparing wet tests to dry tests by the way. You need to take a photo at the time it says to read it and compare the pictures. Because they tend to dry darker which can cause people to get quite stressed when comparing.

Are you sure they are as sensitive? I thought the boots ones were 10mlu, whereas FRER are 6.5mlu.

Why can't more brands be 6.5mlu!

I’m so inpatient I had to test again this morning 🤣
I was away so I’m only guessing my ovulation but I think I’m around 11-12 DPO according to Flo.
I’m crossing everything! Xx

this came up almost immediately and it’s way pinker and clearer in person

@Ks8895 4dp5dt is pretty much the earliest you can expect a positive, so there's no way to know if this is a positive or not. It will always be very faint at this point. If you can see pink in it then that would be a good sign but you have to leave it longer and retest really.

Sorry to jump on. But I fear I may have gotten an evap on the boots test 😭 what do you all think? This was exactly 4dp5dt down to the hour (I’m crazy I know 😂)

@Jojo1123 hi! I can definitely see a line in the first picture! All you can do is wait at least another two days and see if it's got darker, and if so, I would suggest getting a clearblue how many weeks test. I thought I was 15DPO today, and my line was still very faint, so i phoned my EPU, and they suggested i get the weeks test as i thought i was miscarrying. She said im looking for 2-3 weeks, but it came up 1-2 weeks, so i was maybe off a few days on my ovulation dates. Midwife said the early detection tests are a hit and miss and as today was supposed to be the day my period came, that i should use a normal test now.These were my tests, i hope it helps! Stay positive😊

@Spencellor Hi!! Thank you for checking in with me😊 these are my results so far. The 13DPO test was taken tonight at 9pm so im hoping my urine was just diluted🙈 going to hold off until at least Monday before i test again. Aunt flo due on Saturday so i know im definitely testing too early. Just a little impatient🥺
