Ovulation date 25th or 26th March - TWW thread

Hi ladies, who would like to join a TWW thread. My ovulation date is today or tomorrow ❤️

Month 9 TTC baby number 2.

I have a 1 year old who took 16 months to conceive.

I’m 29 and my hubs is 31. We know my husband has a fertility issue so we’re aware it could well be a long road ahead. Not that it makes TTC any more bearable. Every month is depressing when AF arrives!

Would love to share in the TWW with some others!

@Ttcmumma I didn't know that they were called that but I do have these sometimes as part of my normal cycle...the day before my BFP (vvfl @ 9DPO) they seemed to get a bit more obvious and whiter looking than usual along with sore boobs.

TTC53 · 11/04/2023 15:55

@Ttcmumma I've never heard of that term and after having a quick peek at mine I also have a few too. Although come to think of it I believe having a couple is normal for me.

Sorry to hear of your miscarriage. What dpo did you get your bfp then? Could it still be too early this cycle for a positive?

TTC53 · 11/04/2023 15:52

Huge congratulations @Mummy1502. So pleased for you and glad that you were able to get hold of a FRER to help confirm.

@TTCing I hope that you are being kind to yourself.

AF due tomorrow but I don't think I'll test for a few more days yet if it doesn't arrive. It trolled me last cycle and was two days late

Ttcmumma · 11/04/2023 15:35

A weird one for you all... At the end of last week, so from around 8dpo I suddenly had montgomery tubercles... I hadn't shared this symptom yet as firstly I didn't know what it was called and secondly I kind of assumed it was breast cancer and was too scared to admit it. I just now found the name of it on Google and it can actually be a sign of pregnancy.

Has anyone ever experienced this before a bfp? Or even after a miscarriage? I miscarried at 14 weeks in January so wondering if my body is still doing some 'pregnant' things which I doubt it as my hormones have been checked and are fine along with my cycles being back to normal for 2 cycles now... I'm currently 11dpo and still getting negatives. Intrigued if anyone else have ever experienced it.

Google montgomery tubercles if you've never heard of it (I hadn't until just now!!) And it's almost exactly what my areolas currently look like 😅

Mummy1502 · 11/04/2023 14:19

Well I guess that confirms it! FRER is positive too, I must have defo ovulated later than I thought x

@Stillwinston @Ttcmumma thankyou! I’ve managed to find a shop with frer so going to grab them now, will do one later purely coz I’m so impatient then one in the morning to check progression, I really hope this is a sticky one x

Ttcmumma · 11/04/2023 11:46

@Mummy1502 omg so happy for you! Definitely confirm with another test to be sure but looks positive 🤞🏻

Stillwinston · 11/04/2023 11:44

@Mummy1502 I can see it!!! Definitely looks positive to me ❤️ maybe see if you can get a frer and test tomorrow to check on progression x

Mummy1502 · 11/04/2023 11:29

All tests until now have been stark white! Should I be getting my hopes up? It is pink in colour in person, hard to get a pic, it’s a boots test couldn’t get any frer, I’m 1 day late for af, unless I ovulated later as didn’t test for ovulation this month x

Omg ladies there’s a line!!!!!!!! X

Mummy1502 · 11/04/2023 10:06

@TTCing your welcome, go easy on your self x

TTCing · 11/04/2023 09:47

@Mummy1502 thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate it. I totally resonate with how you feel. It was terrible for me last time as I’d been TTC for over a year. It’s just so hard and impossible for people to understand if they haven’t experienced the same/similar.

I cried a lot yesterday but today, so far, just feeling really sad.

@Stillwinston i usually tend to ovulate on CD16 (I think). But I guess it may be different this cycle. Thank you ❤️

@Ttcdcno1 that must have been so terrible for you. With my first miscarriage, I started bleeding the day after my birthday 😢 thanks for your kindness xx

@TTCing I’m so sorry 😢it’s such a tough journey. I started bleeding for my chemical on Christmas Day. Me and DH had planned out how we were going to hide everything from our parents not wanting to open up our little bubble just yet and then it happened anyway. One of mother nature’s crueler jokes I must admit🤦🏼‍♀️
Keep yourself busy but definitely allow yourself some time to heal❤️lots of virtual hugs sent your way.

I’m CD 5 now so not too far ahead of you 👍

Stillwinston · 11/04/2023 09:14

I'm cd2 as well @TTCing so we're exactly in sync!

Make sure you give yourself time to heal ❤️

Mummy1502 · 11/04/2023 09:13

@TTCing it really is heartbreaking isn’t, I feel like I went off the rails mentally after my chemical a couple of cycles back, I just couldn’t focus on anything else, I would cry all the time, then the cycle after that my af came on Mother’s Day! I’ve never felt so horrible, it takes time to heal even so early on, I started thinking something must be wrong with me etc, felt like a failure but once I got my head together and started to feel more positive I just kept telling myself it will happen when it happens and at the right time, it’s horrible that the doctors make you go through it 3 times before they even do anything! I was lucky and been referred to epu so if I fall pregnant again they will scan me early but even then that’s not until 6 weeks and with my chemicals I never made it to 6 weeks, my loss in November I went to 7 weeks, it’s always a worry until baby is in your arms, I really hope you feel better each day and get your positive soon x

TTCing · 11/04/2023 09:03

Thank you @Stillwinston. I’m working today so just trying to keep myself busy. My cramps have been very painful this time and they made me feel so unwell last night. It’s definitely felt more physically painful this time, for some reason, as well as emotionally painful too.

What cycle day are you on now? It will be cycle day 2 for me today, so maybe we’ll be TWWing together again ❤️

@TTCing we totally understand, it's just so bloody hard 😞 I hope you're getting a chance to rest and process your loss ❤️🌈 we're all here to support and listen, sending big virtual hugs xxx

TTCing · 11/04/2023 08:44

I just feel like my heart has been ripped out. It’s just awful 😢

It’s so hard staying positive at this point. Especially when it takes me so long to conceive in the first place.

Thanks for your support, ladies.

@Stillwinston will grab some this morning and get a good hold then test this afternoon, it’s gonna be a long wait! I’m just not getting my hopes up though still expecting to see af x

Stillwinston · 11/04/2023 08:36

@TTCing sadly I think @Ttcmumma is correct - I've had a few chemicals and when I spoke to the GP they said they didn't count it in terms of miscarriage numbers 😞 could you go for private tests? Hope you're doing ok xx

Stillwinston · 11/04/2023 08:35

@Mummy1502 omg, definitely go get some tests! X

Mummy1502 · 11/04/2023 08:05

I’m officially late! I spose I should go grab some tests today, although I keep thinking af is coming coz of the cramping x

Ttcmumma · 10/04/2023 21:03

@TTCing unfortunately I also believe that NHS dont count chemicals in those 3 losses either. Which makes me believe they aren't likely due to something being wrong and more so bad luck? Apparently most women have chemical pregnancies in their lives that they go completely unaware of. So I guess it's the fact we are tracking and so aware of our bodies that makes us have to suffer such sad losses

TTC53 · 10/04/2023 20:59

@TTCing remind me, have you had any general fertility tests done? I'm led to believe that NHS won't begin investigations until 3 losses have occurred which makes me think it's just horrid, horrid luck for you. I'm sure this doesn't make it any easier for you, this moment in time. Have you thought about having a phone call with the gp to see if they can offer advice?

TTCing · 10/04/2023 20:31

Thanks ladies ❤️ starting to worry if there’s something wrong with me now. 3 pregnancies and 2 losses. Do you think I have a medical reason or bad luck? 😔
