Testing 02/04 - Anyone want to join me?

Hi 😊

First successful month of TTC #2, have tried since July 2022 but every month something has got in the way such as illness or the cheap ovulation tests have let me down.

Ordered the easy mom ovulation tests this month and no one was horrendously ill in our household so managed to DTD twice during the fertile window

CD12 - DTD
CD13 - Positive OPK
CD14 - DTD

Probably should of done a few more times but DP was busy.

Feeling really hopeful but also feel like I won't get pregnant any time soon 😩

How is everyone else?

@pinkthree I am 9DPO today too - DPO twins! Mine was also BFN this morning, I think the line yesterday was an indent! I've got some internet cheapy early detection ones coming today. I didn't test so much last month but I am supposed to be going to Alton Towers on Saturday and don't want to go on the big rides if pregnant - so hopefully either get a BFP by then or AF arrives so I at least know for sure! (AF due Friday - I have quite a short leutal phase). These are the internet cheapys I've got coming, they have quite good reviews:

@slimshadyscousin I can definitely see a line! How exciting

No other symptoms but I didn't really with DC1 other than the headaches that made me feel sick. I was so shocked when I got my BFP that time as had felt completely normal really

Holding off testing again, I've only got cheapies no FRER

@slimshadyscousin ooh I can see a shadow of something there, could you tell if it has colour to it or not? All my fingers and toes crossed it develops nicely!

@pinkthree definitely still early, sorry about the nasty headache though ☹️

9DPO today and got another horrible hormone headache when I've woken up

@MountainFi also 6DPO and honestly felt some light cramping yesterday and was envisioning implantation. It’s crazy i never would’ve noticed it before but just because i think you become more attuned to your body when you are TTC!

@TTCno1x great work trying 6 times! A great chance for you. I managed twice then thought I’d fire in one more go for luck as my dates could be a little off due to last months chemical.

really hoping to hear some lovely BFP stories on this thread soon 🙏❤️

@MountainFi not sure if it's the same with wrist temping but I had the same with lower temp after interrupted sleep and apparently your temp goes higher in follicular and lower in luteal phase after a night of interrupted sleep! So it does the opposite of what it should be doing 😅 thought that was really interesting!

I'm also 6dpo and keep telling myself the twinges I'm getting in my abdomen absolutely can't mean anything yet! Busy week at work this week so keep me busy. Not sure when I will test, will see how I feel but af due 6th so maybe early next week?

6DPO here and scouring the internet for what may or may not be happening… blastocyst hatching and beginning to adhere! If we have successfully fertilised an egg.

But my bbt is truly all over. Dip this morning, still above cover line. But I was woken up at least hourly by my little who is teething, so it’s not accurate. Thought it would be higher than expected though, not lower? Who knows. Also it’s wrist temp, so a proxy to start with!

Hoping to hear about some BFPs soon - when is everyone planning to test? I am telling myself 10dpo is the first even vague chance, but secretly planning to POAS (internet cheapie) on 8dpo to get it out of my system 🤣

@TTCno1x 6 times! You should have good chance. I don't think you'd get a positive before 10DPO so don't be disheartened that it was negative.

How many months have you been trying?

@pinkthree that was one of my only symptoms when I found out I was pregnant last time! Really vivid dreams.

8 DPO today and lots of PMS symptoms that are so mild they could be something but could also be my body playing tricks on me. Heavy boobs, random waves of nausea, very slight cramping…god this TWW is long

@MountainFi Yeah I know what you mean having them 2 years apart does seem the norm, I just was not ready to even think about it until my DD was a bit older and tbh having them so close together looks like hard work! At least if you've got 3 years between the older one can help a bit more too, I think my DD will be an amazing big sister now.

@pinkthree ahhh the pregnancy testing dreams have begun already! I am sleeping so badly but actually now you mention it I did have a weird vivid dream and I have loads of CM which is quite unusual. 🤔

Had such a vivid dream last night that I took several pregnancy tests and they were all positive 😬

Only 6 DPO so really want to hold out until 11 DPO to test but I'm obsessing over it this month and just want to know either way

TTC really does drive you crazy 😂

@Boymum111 I hate the medication dilemma… last pregnancy I even worried about drinking certain teas!! Which I appreciate is ridiculous. But babies are precious, particularly if they’ve taken a while.

@TunnocksTCake Yes, TTC with a toddler is fun and games isn’t it! Particularly as all around me seem to have had their seconds easily around 2 years apart, we will hopefully be around 3 years. But I find there is a weird societal pressure for 2…

Me too! I'm 5DPO and have been feeling so tired the last few days but like others Google says too early for symptoms. It could be hormone levels but I could fall asleep and I never normally can during the day. Longest 5 days ever waiting until I can test.

Hi all - I’m about 10dpo ish. My app says period due next weekend. I’ve already caved and tested but bfn obviously as bit early. Only used home cheapies.

but I’m still going to just protect my emotions and play it cool and stop my daydreaming of a Christmas time baby! (hopefully)

@pinkthree omg I know someone is ill almost every week in our house, I keep saying I can't wait for it to be over in spring but it will probably continue! I do think having a toddler keeps you busy enough so you don't obsess so much in the tww though! I'm fine other than days I'm at work! X

Hi all! Can I jump on? AF is due 02/04 and I am 7 or 8 DPO today, unsure exactly as I haven’t been doing OPKs, just been listening to my body as can usually tell when I’m ovulating and pretty clockwork. I did take a test this morning then got line eyes looking at it 😂 so silly. Baby dust to you all!

@Boymum111 no idea about the medication for cystitis and TTC. Can you take when pregnant? If you can I'd say safe for TTC

@TunnocksTCake TTC with a toddler is a whole different ball game 😂 we've been trying since July but this is the first month we've successfully done OPK's and DTD due to illnesses or bad nights sleep every month. Then on 1DPO, DC came down with awful illness so we were lucky with our timings this month. Just hope we've done enough

How's everyone feeling? I've not had another headache since 2DPO, just quite tired but that's normal 😂

Hi can I join? Im 4dpo finally after a bit of a whacky cycle due to illness (norovirus and then an eye infection and A&E trip on Mother's Day!) and chemical last month or both!
Cycle no.5 TTc no2 with a 2.5 year old DD. It took a while to get her so I'm trying to stay calm but hated having so many set backs this month.
Due to the sickness we only DTD on peak OPK day and day after so hopefully that's O and O-1. We shall see...
