So currently in hospital at 28 weeks after my waters breaking early hours of Thursday morning, I have no infection and stats and baby are good, no consistent contractions, was anyone able to cook their LO longer, or what is your Premature experience, I have insomnia and can't sleep!

Aww always know you guys would be amazing, I think it's more the unknown, will it all kick off or will I get home! Trying not to stress about it, but have been told if I start contracting they will transfer us whilst baby is still in, and at the moment that's to IRELAND from Aberdeen, as they have the NICU capacity and that is terrifying! I have been getting a few tightenings but not coming to much thank goodness, hopefully get home today after Dr rounds if no changes from now until then, I think they are concerned that we are an hour away from hospital should anything happen, we have tried for 2 years for this wee one and I was really enjoying my pregnancy, so bittersweet indeed! Thank you all and I'll keep you all posted 😘

My cousin's baby was born at 26 weeks. He's 9 now and a thriving, wonderful boy. He has bad asthma but that's about it! Obviously they went through a tough time in the early days but the hospital were wonderful and he's a joy.

Just wanted to say sending you lots of luck. My friend went in to labour at 28 weeks not sure if waters broke and again at 31 weeks and managed to carry until 35 weeks in the end and baby was fine x

I have a 28 weeker, he was 2lb 9 when born, he's now 20 a strapping 6 foot and perfectly healthy. He had to stay in nicu a few weeks but came home before his due date. Look after yourself it's long days and tiring emotionally as well as physically. Oh and if you can once they're here pump like a crazy person because your milk will make all the difference

No experience @ForGoodnessCake but I didn’t want to read and run! Sending you lots of positive vibes to try and keep that little one cooking away for a little bit longer 💐❤️

You and baby are in the best place! We’re here if you’d like to keep us updated on your journey! I know there are lots of amazing NICU parents on here who will be able to offer you advice!

I didn't want to read and run but wish you and baby all the luck in the world. You are in the best place for you both and they will do everything possible to look after you both.

My eldest was born at 31 weeks so a bit later than yours but a very speedy delivery less than 24 hours after a pre eclampsia diagnosis. I can chat about the NICU experience it that would help at all? I imagine you would be there for the long haul like we were.

Aside from that, I was born 14 weeks early in the mid/late 80s due to waters breaking. They kept my mum and me healthy for about a week before that but delivered at first sign of concern.

Wishing you all the best Flowers

I've no experience to share but sending well wishes and hoping baby can stay inside for as long as possible!
