Waters broke at 28 weeks!!!!

So currently in hospital at 28 weeks after my waters breaking early hours of Thursday morning, I have no infection and stats and baby are good, no consistent contractions, was anyone able to cook their LO longer, or what is your Premature experience, I have insomnia and can't sleep!

Thank you everyone, he is doing amazingly well, we are still in Dundee - we've hit 3lbs and he's rocking clothes too! Aberdeen is still closed! But he is receiving the most unbelievable care from NICU Dundee we love them all so much.

Thank you everyone, he is doing amazingly well, we are still in Dundee - we've hit 3lbs and he's rocking clothes too! Aberdeen is still closed! But he is receiving the most unbelievable care from NICU Dundee we love them all so much.

What a gorgeous boy! Huge congratulations!! I had a really positive NICU experience (on the west coast) and found the staff there were absolute angels who taught us so much. Changing a nappy in an incubator is an experience -just wait 😂(Our baby was full term but in for other reasons). Take of yourself too op -a c section is rough in those first few days. I found staying on top of my painkillers really helped and making sure I actually ate regularly was important to keep up my energy/recovery levels. By day 5 I felt back to “normal”. Best of luck to you all x

Once they allowed us home on Saturday, infection set in and I was back to hospital quickly, everything happened so fast, and we were so lucky to get Dundee, the NICU was full the day befor. He arrived by emergency Csection and he is doing so amazing, we are both still on antibiotic for the infection and I've been very emotional but that's all part and parcel, every day is a new one and we are hoping to go home once Aberdeen has a bed for us! I still cannot believe he came so early xx

Congratulations - he doesn't look much different to my 35 weeker so hopefully that's a good sign. Glad you made it to Dundee instead of Belfast! What a rollercoaster x

@ForGoodnessCake Hes an absolute cracker 😊 Just couldn’t wait to get out and see what all the fuss was about 🙈 He looks like he’s doing really well OP! Keeping my fingers crossed that a bed opens up soon for you in Aberdeen and you can get closer to home 😊 Thank goodness you didn’t end up in Ireland though 😳 I hope you’re on the mend soon too Mummy!
