2WW AF due 29th March

Anyone want to join me in the 2WW?

I think I ovulated yesterday. I had been using the clearblue digital ovulation tests, but ran out of test sticks on Tuesday, which is typical! I did have EWCM Monday until yesterday and this morning it seems to have turned sticky. I also got pains in my left lower belly yesterday, so the signs all point to yesterday as ovulation day.

Unfortunately we didn't dtd yesterday as me and DH both have covid... last time we dtd was Sunday night, so I'm already at a disadvantage this month, but still hoping, and I'll still be getting excited about everything little twinge or symptom that I feel over the next 2 weeks!

This is my 4th cycle TTC, we already have DD who's 14 months. Fingers crossed and baby dust everywhere!

@Angelselevenx this is our 3rd cycle. I only went off birth control end of Dec so things are maybe still settling - AF around 1st April. My OPK peak has been around CD 20-22 so far but last month my AF came 1 week after my peak. I did also get covid (1st time) at the start of Feb which I think threw of my month. Who knew there was such a fine art to all of this!

@mrsed1987 welcome! How far into your tww are you? I also had thought this about a Christmas baby - DH and I always said we would want to try to avoid that timing but now we're here we aren't too bothered now! We love Christmas and got married around then so I've got past any worried around then!

Hi all, I am in my TWW on cycle 2 of trying for my 2nd, my son is 4 and was conceived 2nd cycle although we were not actually try and a certainly was monitoring my myself like I am now! Lol

I'd actually like to wait and conceive next month as not sure about a Dec baby! Lol

This is cycle 2 for us and the first of tracking my BBT.

Haha men, sometimes it's good as they stop us from going into overdrive. Definitely keep track of symptoms, I'm going to as well. Last month I was going crazy symptom spotting and I vowed this month I wouldn't be the same 🙄

@Angelselevenx thank you. I feel too scared to acknowledge it at the moment due to fact I'm still spotting.

Going to but more tests during my lunch break today and hopefully the line will get stronger and the spotting will stop.

@Angelselevenx welcome to the start of the tww - I'm on 4DPO. Trying not to symptom spot but I said something to DH about it last night and he v quickly brought me back down to earth, he's too sensible 🤣 so I'll just log them in an app for my own tracking!

@ELJ1502 thank you, in so scared as I'm still spotting so I don't really want to believe it at the moment.

There's still time for you, I've been spotting since 8dpo and still managed to get what I think might be a positive at 11dpo (though I'm too worried to believe it yet!). Crossing my fingers for you xx

yep I’m out. BFN at 9dpo yesterday and starting to spot today :(

oh well onwards and hopefully towards a 2024 baby.

I woke up this morning fully expecting AF to have arrived, but when I realised it hadn't, I decided I was going to crack and take a pregnancy test. I'm currently on CD31, 11dpo.

I feel really shaky and like I don't want to believe this is a positive (I've still got a little bit of watery bleeding when I wipe ). I feel really worried that it's not real.

That is true and yes i would altho i did do quite a bit of walking today so maybe its that. I dont really know as im all over the place but plan on testing friday as that will be 4 weeks from my last period

As the days go by i think im out i think AF is coming ive got the back ache the pain in my legs 😭 and last week i was so sure i was pregnant

@Pitstop1986 @ELJ1502 Thank you both ❤ I'm still having some light spotting, though it seems to come and go (but this also happened the last two months 🙁). Feeling like AF is due soon.

I've told myself if this carries on (and doesn't develop into AF) by Friday, I'll take a pregnancy test. I'm just wish my body would decide what it's doing!

@Pitstop1986 My periods and symptoms have gone all over the place since TTC too! I was super regular until we started trying and now my body's like, "I'm gonna eff with you /now/." I've been having cramps the last four or five days (AF due 26 Mar) and weird tingles today, too. BFN this morning (had a GP call about the irregular periods so wanted to test before just in case) but still early days so we'll see.

@Polkadotfloral it took me 6 cycles to conceive my first. She was conceived at the start of April and was born 21st December. Don’t give up! You could still have your 2023 baby!

@Polkadotfloral have you done a pg test yet, or are you waiting for AF? There is a possibility that it could be implantation bleeding.

My body has really been winding me up the last few months since ttc... I've had spotting, late ovulation, pms symptoms that I've never had before. It really is confusing and frustrating, so I can totally empathise with you.

I heard a mantra once- let it flow or let it grow. As in, let AF come or let the baby grow. It's meant to leave the pregnancy or AF up to fate, and thus reduce stress of the situation. I'm not sure if it works, but if you are into meditation or breathing exercises, maybe just take a few minutes to relax and say this to yourself a few times

@Pitstop1986 thank you, that's really kind. Weirdly it seems to have stopped again now. I just wish my body would make it easier for me by either committing to having AF or just not doing anything! Spotting just sends me into a spiral. 🙁Going to wait it out but try not to hope too much or get too down. So much easier said than done!

I'm so sorry @Polkadotfloral it must be so disheartening. There's always next month, but I know that you don't really want to hear that.

I'm 3dpo and I've been feeling "tingling" in my pelvic bowl for the last couple of days. I'm hoping that this is my womb building a super thick and strong lining ready to receive an egg. Such a strange feeling though- low down, right at the front, I just feel fizzy... is this a thing or has TTC sent me mad!

I've had some more spotting today (hardly any in my underwear but when I wipe after going to the loo) so I think it's not going to happen for me this month. The last two cycles I had two days of spotting before AF so I think that's what this is. 💔I feel completely heartbroken as I really thought we'd managed it this cycle - we dtd 6 times during my 7 day fertile window (4 out of the 5 days leading up to ovulation, then again on the day of ovulation and the day after).

What's also worrying me is that if I am due AF tomorrow, my luteal phase was only 9 days this cycle. Last cycle my luteal phase was 10 days which I was also a little bit worried about but now I'm starting to feel panicked that this is just never going to happen for me.

Feel so awful and beaten down at the moment. My sister fell immediately with both of hers and I'm now heading in to my 4th cycle ttc my first. I know it's still early days in the grand scheme of things but when your only frame of reference (as none of my friends are ttc or have children of their own yet) is someone who has had such a straightforward experience, it feels so incredibly lonely.

I was so hoping I'd be holding a baby this Christmas but I guess it's not going to happen. 😭

@bringmearainbow another question as I've just done another ovulation test haha, if I have high LH for say today and tomorrow, what does that mean? Does that mean I don't ovulate until the surge has reduced?
