Hey lovely ladies!

I saw a few other similar threads, but didn't know if anyone would join me for the TWW (I'm driving myself crazy) and if anyone else is hoping for that BFP this month! Flowers

Can anyone see a vvvvvfl? I took it just now and took pictures straight away so my urine isn't concentrated much but I'm sure I see a vvvvvvvvvfl?

@ELJ1502 8DPO here and i know exactly what you mean... crampy today but not sure if that means AF is coming or if a baby is implanting! 😂

Least i'll be so busy tue/wed that I won't be able to google, and then thur i'll be so tired i'll prob just sleep and then busy again on friday!

ELJ1502 · 20/03/2023 15:25

Why are pregnancy symptoms so close to AF symptoms. Mother Nature is simply evil. 😂 I’m 7dpo today and it’s killing me already.

Bellabeemarie · 20/03/2023 14:03

I've told OH he needs to hide my tests 😅 this 2ww really can drive you absolutely insane! I think I need to try and take my mind off of this 2ww for the remainder of the week and hold off testing at weekend maybe.... my hat goes off to all woman who manage to stay away from POAS until AF is due that so real dedication 👏 🙌 👌

suz2285 · 20/03/2023 13:04

@Bellabeemarie could well be implantation, the whole OPK thing is very unreliable after ovulation IMO as there's low levels of LH all through the cycle, but i've heard it can increase before AF regardless of whether your pregnant or not, so no idea there. 8 DPO is around the "normal" time for implantation so that could well be the case here... you're right though, TTC is a fun time! 😂

Bellabeemarie · 20/03/2023 11:53

Warning ⚠️⚠️⚠️ TMI 8 DPO is this af coming early or possible implantation, my nipples have been sensitive past couple of days and I'm extremely tired but these are pre AF signs for me 🙄

I've not got many ic until my delivery on wed so I decided to pee on a ovulation test as you do 😳😱🤣🤣🤣 I know opks can pick up when Af is coming but I'm not due AF till beginning of nx week!

All this ttc lark is alot isn't it hahaha

@emmatcc1 Thank you - that's good to know! Although I couldn't feel any difference around ovulation 😂 I'll take your advice and check again if/when af arrives!
Ouch - that's so expensive!! How annoying! I find the easy@home ones really reliable and really reasonable. I think I got 50 opks and 20 hcg strips for less than £20. The CB digital ones are much more pricey though and I'm not sure I'll bother getting those ones again.
Do you have any family/friends in the UK that you wouldn't mind telling that you are ttc and then maybe they could buy you some and ship them over? Those combined with temping seem to work well for me personally :)

emmatcc1 · 20/03/2023 11:27

@HannahLouD I did check my cervix every day the last cycle and it was very chaotic and there where days when it was tilted to the front or back and even to the sides which is normal. In my opinion it's only accurate for ovulation. I did want to buy those test from amazon but I live in europe and it costs way to much and the only tests I can get here are 5 for 15€ or 10 cb for 30€

HannahLouD · 20/03/2023 11:19

@emmatcc1 Thanks so much for the info!! If I don't get my bfp this month, I'll check when af arrives and see if I can tell the difference... I'm just going to stop for the rest of my cycle until then though because I'm just stressing myself out even more 😅 I just checked again now though after reading your message and to me it's like, medium/high-ish (around my second knuckle on my middle finger) and it feels fairly hard and I can feel a little circle dip... but that doesn't make much sense if I'm 2dpo (which I'm 99% sure I am)... I don't know! I'm clearly just not very good at this! My cervix also feels very off to the left so I'm not sure if that's normal 😶😅
Glad that it seems to work for you though! I've spent sooo much money on opks (I've been buying the easy@home ones and the cb digital ones).. also bought a bbt thermometer (which was only about £8 tbf and I do find that useful!) but if I could get the hang of checking my cervix, that would be amazing!

emmatcc1 · 20/03/2023 11:12

@HannahLouD It takes some time to get the hang of it maybe try checking it during your period to see what it's like when open. I start checking when I get EWCM which is a couple days before ovulation. I get peak CM and open cervix the day before ovulation and it stays open on the day of ovulation. This method never failed me and I always got my period when expected. The opening is kinda hard to figure out but when it's open it feels like a small hole that your finger slightly dips into and when closed it's just a slit that I sometimes can't even locate. The position high or low and hard or soft isn't really accurate at least for me it was soft in the morning and then hard in the evening. I did however find that during ovulation it was hard to reach so very high and after it dropped just a tiny bit which I knew because I then get slight pain when dtd. Checking for ovulation this ways saved me money on so many LH tests and I don't test rather just wait on period as I'm going on to cycle 8 and it was very stressful.

suz2285 · 20/03/2023 11:11

lol you guys are funny! @Pitstop1986 i only buy the cheap tests too, when i got my positive on the cheapies last time my husband made us go to tesco to buy a "proper" one, because he didn't trust the cheapies! He was all "see this one says 99% accurate" just because it was on the box.... men are strange creatures! But i see what he was meaning, i know people like to try different kinds as they are all different sensitivities.... as if it's not confusing enough!

@HannahLouD looking forward to seeing everyone's tests soon 😃

Luckily I have a mega busy week at work so i'm hoping that keeps my mind off things. I'm a bit crampy now, last time I had cramps like i was about to see AF for a few days before my BFP, but It's just that way where you don't know if it's about to be AF or not.... such fun times! 😂

HannahLouD · 20/03/2023 10:32

@Pitstop1986 We can be test buddies then! 😅 I don't really see much point in testing before then as even if it was a bfp it would probably be so faint that I'd drive myself absolutely insane trying to figure out if there really was a line or not. It's soo hard waiting though 😅 On one hand, the longer I wait to test, the longer I can hold onto hope that I'm pregnant, but on the other hand, maybe it's easier to know either way early on... I'm really torn this month after my chemical... thing is, even when I tested after af was due last month, I still had a fairly convincing positive so...

Ahhh who am I kidding?! I'll be testing at 10dpo, let be honest 😂🙈

Pitstop1986 · 20/03/2023 10:22

@HannahLouD I'm probably going to start testing around 10dpo, I don't have the patience to see if AF turns up! I have a load of Wondfo cheap strip tests so it doesn't matter to me too much if they get wasted

HannahLouD · 20/03/2023 09:52

@suz2285 Yeah, I think I'm going to stop checking my cervix now as I can't tell the difference between anything and it's just going to cause me more stress!
Thanks for the comment :)

suz2285 · 20/03/2023 09:46

haha you guys are funny, I'm only not testing because i don't want to be unsure, or worry about chemicals or something like that! If I wait as long as possible it's more likely to be obvious and I won't be left wondering if there is or isn't a line 😂No AF is good news so if AF doesn't show up then i'll test. TBH i've no idea how long my Luteal phase will last this time after a MC, could be anywhere between 9-14 days so it's just a waiting game for me I think!

Also i read something yesterday that said HCG which is what the pregnancy test detects only starts being produced after implantation, so lets say you implant at an "average" 8 DPO then you wouldn't expect to see anything until at least 10 DPO and that's if you implant on the average day, say it takes 9-10 days to implant then you'll not see anything on the stick until maybe later like 12-14 DPO! So testing at 8 DPO is probably unlikely to produce any sort of result unless you implanted super early, you need time for those hormones to get into your system.

@HannahLouD i sometimes check my cervix but tbh i'm not sure it's reliable and it's kinda confusing so I don't use it as any sign...

@Bellabeemarie when i got my last BFP my temp stayed quite high... usually day before AF it drops a lot and i know AF is coming, but with the BFP it stayed high, mine is also staying high at the moment too but could just be cos it's still early at 8 DPO

I don't "feel" much again today, some weird sharp pains in my right side, some nipple pain and today i had a really upset stomach this morning (not nausea, the other upset stomach hahah) but yeah.... have a good day everyone!

HannahLouD · 20/03/2023 09:32

@Pitstop1986 Ah how exciting! When are you planning on testing??
I'm going to try to hold out until 10dpo as that's when I got my bfp last month (ended in chemical) My ovulation was also delayed this month... so annoying!
Hope you're doing well :)

Doodles18 · 20/03/2023 09:13

Morning ladies,
8dpo and bfn , no willpower whatsoever 😁 I might have ovulated 2 days later as that was the day I had the most ewcm ( sorry tmi) so might be only 6dpo 🙈 didn’t temp ( never tried ) but also didn’t use ovulation sticks so who knows xx

Pitstop1986 · 20/03/2023 08:56

@HannahLouD I'm 2 dpo too after a very delayed ovulation this month (and last month!) I'm currently cd26, so ovulated cd24. We'll be testing around the same time!

HannahLouD · 20/03/2023 08:52

@suz2285 thank you! 😊
I'm really sorry to hear about your loss too - I hope you're doing ok!

Question for anyone who knows... I started checking my cervix for the first time this month and I honestly haven't felt any difference at all throughout the whole month so far... I'm so confused!
I'm pretty sure I ovulated 2 days ago going by my peak opk being on Friday, my cm and my ovulation and nipple pains... I've also had my second day of higher BBT so I'm pretty certain, but to me my cervix has never changed?! It has constantly felt fairly medium and hardish... No idea how you tell if it's open or closed though as again, it's constantly felt pretty much exactly the same...
I wish I hadn't have started checking it, just one more thing to worry about and obsess over 🙄🙃

lucya66 · 20/03/2023 08:52

I know. Baby dust to you too! Keep updating us,’hopefully some of us on this thread will get a bfp :)

ManifestingBaby2023 · 20/03/2023 08:25

@lucya66 it is so hard! I find I'm like what if I actually ovulated on this day then I'll be x dpo and it might be better to test 🤦🏻‍♀️

Baby dust for everyone, it will be our month!!!

lucya66 · 20/03/2023 08:12

I’m 7po today and bfn.

i know it’s too early to test but it is disheartening.

I want this so much, was hoping to have a baby by Christmas. 5 month trying, praying for a positive in the next week before af

ManifestingBaby2023 · 20/03/2023 08:04

Welcome everyone new!

@Bellabeemarie I'm exactly the same, BFN today but properly way too early to test still! Wish i had the willpower to wait 🤦🏻‍♀️😅

OP posts:
Bellabeemarie · 20/03/2023 07:52

Welllll BFN as expected this morning 😂😂😂 I honestly don't know why I do it loooool temps highest its been at the point in my cycle but as I've not tracked 100% this month I'm not taking much notice....I wish I had your will power!

suz2285 · 20/03/2023 06:33

@Bellabeemarie welcome! Happy to see your results from poas because I'm 8dpo too and not testing until dpo 13/14 if af isn't here! 😂

I have slight cramps in the right today and I know that's where I ovulated from but doesn't mean a thing 😂 other than that not much going on over here now!
