Thank you for your reply and I think I trickled on it lol i have been having trouble with my urination due to other issue so my flow is quite slow but
It awful and weird . I've spent a Fortune on bloody tests. I dtd with partner on the 11th of February and 25th feb only, had a evap or faint bfp on frer on 3rd March , before and after that test I continued to get bfn , doctors tested bfn on 6th March, period started 7th March ( 2 weeks late) and then I got this nasty evap I will test and update in morning with different brand on the way. Really worried of ectopic mainly 😕

Here's the first test that I disregarded as evap . It's alot fainter than this one . you can hardly catch with camera but this one is hard to figure out.

Period is on and off has been spotting to Slightly moderate to spotting. To completely gone, to spotting and then gone. Cramps during the tww was unusual because it was more right sided pain on qnd off and not usual agnosing cramps all in 4 days. Usually goes pink spotting full blown period to brown spotting for 7 days. But I did see like 1 clot. If its chemical wouldn't I of got bfp before not after like this?? So confusing It's unreal😔😔

Below is the very first faint evap/ possible bfp. Was an actual line in person but camera didn't catch full line xxx

@Tophy124 the 'line' looks more apparent when I put a negative filter on it but I'm still hugely doubtful. I'm not sure how reliable these One Step tests are, never used them with my first.
I do have a home bargains test and a FRER in the drawer but really scared to use either in fear of it being a bfn.

@Tophy124 yeah it's definitely the second pic that makes me think there's something there but I don't know whether it's just wishful thinking and my eyes are playing trick on me.
Yes, I have shown her, she's not entirely sure either way. She doesn't over analysis tests like I do 🙈

Hope no one minds me jumping on?
Me and my wife (same sex) already have a 4 year old boy and we're trying to conceive baby number 2.
We use private donation and the use of a syringe. We're using the same donor as last time and are currently on month 4 TTC, we only receive one donation a month as the donor travels to us and lives a good 2.5 - 3 hours drive away.
We conceived our first on the 3rd month of trying.

Anyway, I ovulated on 28th February and had a donation on the same day, so I'm currently 12dpo and AF is due 15th/16th.
Been taking a few One Step strip tests and although I think I can see a line, I'm pretty sure I'm either seeing things or it's just an evap.

Can anyone tell me what they think about these tests please? Certain I'm going crazy 🤣

@KIWI2023 I waited till AF was due before testing last time because I wanted to be 100% positive but it's such a long time

@Sootycat99 that does look like a really bad Evap line! I've seen a lot of that with those tests... if AF is here it looks like indeed a BFN but that's a cruel Evap line for sure, sorry 🙁

@KIWI2023 I'm good thanks. I have been having some cramps on my right side. Feels like ovulation but can't be as tests have been low since Tuesday morning.

I did have some very convincing cramps last month but it didn't come to anything so trying not to get my hopes up

Thank you! Yeah it certainly does. Haha 😅 i sometimes feel ovulation but sometimes don't. Good good. Yeah same here. It's a good distraction too. I may test 9/10dpo ill keep this thread updated. I normally wait for AF to be late but got a smear booked on Thursday so rather know early but I've seen people still get smear early pregnancy but some don't allow it so I'll just ask. But in my opinion its best to wait for AF to be late less disappointing 😊 x

@Emmamoo89 well in that case I'm going to manifest that it is very good news and it's your time✨🤞🏽 I think all of this does make you hyper aware of every twinge, I don't usually feel any ovulation pain or anything like that but this month I could genuinely feel my ovaries 😂 I'm all good thank you! I feel so grateful to have you all to talk to as otherwise this would be something so lonely to experience. DH asked if I was on a rude chat room earlier and I said nooooo it's Mumsnet and he said he wishes there was something like this for men on the other side of TTC.
Do you have an idea of when you'll test this month? There's a lot of conflicting opinions on here by the looks of it as some people test from 9dpo where as other seem to wait until AF is late. With it being Cycle 1 I'm thinking I'll try to hold out as long as possible but just wanted abit of advice if you have any😊 x

Sorry @Sootycat99 I'm only on cycle 1 so no advice but that line is clear to me. Do you know when you ovulated? I hope one of the lovely ladies in here can give you some advice x

Haha its fine. Thank you! It's not like me at all to have had cramps since 5dpo. I dont normally cramp till period and they feel like period cramps. So uncomfortable. How are you doing? X

Sorry I'm so stored today that I've lost all sense🤦🏽‍♀️ cramps and vivid dreams sound like good news! Hopefully it's implantation and we will see your BFP very soon🤞🏽 I've got my fingers crossed for you!! X

sorry to jump on but has in need for desperate advice !!! anyone had experience with horrible first response Evaps?
I really worried whether I’ve got a nasty evap on my hands or I’m having a chemical or ectopic!

Just can’t wrap my head around it, my last period was 24th January, dtd with partner on the 11th of February and 25th feb only, had continuously bfn after bfn, then had evap or faint bfp on frer on 3rd March (will upload first vfl) , after continued to get bfn , doctors tested bfn on Monday 6th March, period started 7th March, this result yesterday which is stronger than the last possible test , doesn’t make any sense 😭😭 now I’ve done clear blue and clear blue digital is bfn, please has anyone had this???

@Emmamoo89 have you been using OPKs or are you estimating for ovulation date? Oooh I really feel for you with the vivid dreams, I rarely have dreams but do occasionally have nightmares and it is horrid. I hope you have a better night tonight lovely and fingers crossed it's just your body preparing for ovulation (make sure you stay away from cheese before bed😅) x

Having cramps again. This is definitely not normal for me and still having vivid dreams. Nightmare last night. Was awful. How are you? X

@KIWI2023 thanks, I'm good tho, it was a shock and I didn't think I'd want to try again so soon but getting older and just wanted to get started again! When I had my scan to check after the MC they said I was getting ready to ovulate again so I thought I couldn't waste it incase it would be the one 😂 so we just started trying again!

I was exactly like that when TTC and first trimester I couldn't think of anything else and was so hard to work! I'm hoping next time won't be so distracting but I'm sure it will be!!

@Tophy124 the nurses at my scan basically said to just crack on and try again so I guess that's doctors orders 😆 sore boobs was my first symptom last time but you just never know until you get that BFP!

I've read SMEP a couple of times, worked for me last time so fingers crossed again...

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It's really heartbreaking and I know nothing we can say here will help but if you want to talk or vent we are here for you.
I hope the TWW flies by for you and you get a BFP very soon!

I WFH full time and have found that all I can think of right now is to do with TTC, almost like it's taking up every brain cell I have. It's only cycle 1 for us so I'm hoping it's just because I have a lot of info to absorb and lots to learn this month and it will get easier with time (wishful thinking). I had to get out today to try and take my mind off it which actually worked and 2DPO flew by.
