@TheBirdintheCave I honestly didn't have any symptoms this time round. Still don't really, a bit queasy yesterday morning but other than the thrush nothing. No sore boobs, no headaches, not falling asleep as everytime before. It's always a possibility, until the big fat Aunt Flo turns up!!

Fingers crossed for Friday 🤞🏼.

It's a little better, antibiotics are done now too so hopefully will clear up quickly 🙏🏼 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 22/03/2023 08:53

@bunnykins123 That doesn't sound pleasant at all :O Can you get drops for it?

The clinic conceded that I could pay after my consent meeting with the nurse on the 30th if I wanted.

@FfoxRedN I keep asking them but they won't tell me. Yesterday I was just sent the same initial report document as they sent me in February, the one following my first consultation 🙄

Re testing, my husband needed some more vitamins from Amazon and some FRERs accidentally fell into my basket 😅Friday is 12dpo so maybe I'll waste one then. I have zero symptoms though so it's more of an addiction thing that believing I have any chance at all.

Really sorry your thrush sounds so bad :( Is it any better this morning?

LuckyMoonstone · 22/03/2023 08:25

@FfoxRedN argh thrush is the worst 😬 I have managed to avoid it so far this pregnancy which is unheard of for me!

FfoxRedN · 22/03/2023 08:18

@bunnykins123 oh no! That's rubbish! Always the worst! My thrush had me up most of the night 😵‍💫 I seriously wanted to sit in the bath at one point.

@TheBirdintheCave are you going to test lovely or wait until you think you're 14dpo?
I deffo think an email to the clinic asking for more info is worthwhile, might put your mind at rest slightly xx

bunnykins123 · 22/03/2023 06:23

I have also woken up with one eye badly infected with conjunctivitis. It's so sticky and yuck. My eyes swollen up badly - looking mighty fine over here 🫠

bunnykins123 · 22/03/2023 06:21

@TheBirdintheCave can you call them and say you refuse to pay anything until you have a overview of the plan? That's not unreasonable! Surprised that's not been shared with you.

@MrsJGrealish you poor thing, sounds like you're going through a rotten time at the moment. I hope both you and DD are okay 💕

@bringmearainbow anything creamy I would say is fairly infertile. After AF for me, I would dry up then go onto ewcm but think it varies massively and there isn't any norm. If it had stretch, I would get on it!

calimc83 · 22/03/2023 01:52

@MrsJGrealish oh lovely 😞 I'm so sorry to read your update..thinking of you and your DD 😘 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 21/03/2023 23:21

@Alexis7890 Here's hoping 😂

Alexis7890 · 21/03/2023 21:39

@TheBirdintheCave hopefully they are more communicative when you are actually having treatment with them!

TheBirdintheCave · 21/03/2023 21:33

@Alexis7890 We started going there in January so haven't actually had any treatment yet. I could go elsewhere but that would take more time.

Alexis7890 · 21/03/2023 19:53

@TheBirdintheCave have you used this clinic before? They don’t sound like they are being very helpful for you!

Indianna2006 · 21/03/2023 19:17

@MrsJGrealish oh hun. So sorry. What a head fuck. Deffo take time to mull over how you feel and your decision. Deffo agree with @FfoxRedN that GP for sure may be able to help with the early losses. So food for thought when you feel ready to think about it if that’s your choice moving forward.
Your poor DD too 😫 wishing her a speedy recovery. I’m sure you will be fab mum that you are looking after her. Don’t forget about yourself though 😘

bringmearainbow · 21/03/2023 19:04

@Indianna2006 ah good that makes me feel better 😂 I doubt my body will be kind and do anything early 🙄 but one can hope 🤞🏼

@MrsJGrealish oh I'm so so sorry lovely ❤️ sending big hugs and love I hope your DD gets seen quickly too what a whirlwind for you xxx

TheBirdintheCave · 21/03/2023 18:53

@Alexis7890 Nope. I've just been given a list of meds and told to pay for them with no explanation as to what they do and how long I'd be taking them.

The only thing they said was that I'd be told more at my consent appointment but implied that I was expected to order the meds before then.

OP posts:
MrsJGrealish · 21/03/2023 18:40

Thanks girls..honestly the support on this thread has been something else. You are all so lovely ❤️

Really praying you all are cradling your rainbow babies soon 💗💙 I'm still not sure about trying again. But my mind is occupied with my lil girl atm 💕

Alexis7890 · 21/03/2023 18:23

@TheBirdintheCave they won’t even say the protocol? They should surely at least be able to do that as they must know to give you the meds! Not good service at all!

@MrsJGrealish im so sorry and I hope your daughter isn’t in too much pain!

TheBirdintheCave · 21/03/2023 18:23

@MrsJGrealish Shit I'm so sorry on both counts. Your poor daughter! What a crappy time for your family at the moment 😢

@FfoxRedN 9dpo and still high. It won't drop until AF comes on Sunday.

@Indianna2006 To be honest it feels like I'm only doing it so that I can say we really tried everything. It has to be before my holiday. I just can't wait any longer. I just want it over with.

OP posts:
FfoxRedN · 21/03/2023 18:16

@Indianna2006 it really is all very unglamorous!! However, the thrush pessary comes with an applicator so I'm keeping that for the cyclogest 🫣.

@MrsJGrealish oh hun I'm so so sorry. There's deffo something to possibly speak to the GP about or someone privately, implantation could be an easy fix? If you decide to keep trying that is, I know you've been in turmoil about the whole thing.
Your poor DD aswell! At the shit end of the stick, it will keep you distracted but seriously...the universe owes you little bit of luck and I sure hope it heads your way soon 😘 xxx

LuckyMoonstone · 21/03/2023 17:38

@MrsJGrealish I am so so sorry 😢 sending you loads of love and hugs xx
And your poor DD! I sprained my ankle last year and it was AGONY so I can only imagine how bad a break must hurt 😭

MrsJGrealish · 21/03/2023 17:23

Was gonna update tonight. Little bean didn't take. Mad cramps yesterday and bleeding 😢

But DD fell down the stairs at school today and broke her ankle 😩 we have been going from one hospital to another today. The main a@e hospital apparently you need an appointment to see them like wtf I dunno if this is a new thing so they sent us to a different one with a sooner appointment time. So she's home now and resting. The phone call from the school near made my heart stop.

Indianna2006 · 21/03/2023 17:09

@bringmearainbow think I always got like creamy/watery CM first. At beginning of my cycle after period ended it was normal for me. Hopefuly you get an ovulation on time. Nice early one is good less waiting around 😂

@TheBirdintheCave oh bloody hell. Always something isn’t there. But just think you’re so so close to starting IVF.
perhaps enjoy your holiday. And start it after. As I think it can be stressful and just a bit of an emotional toll. Mother Nature sure does like to kick when your down

@MrsJGrealish hope you’re okay lovely 💖

@FfoxRedN Thrush and sticking things up your bum. Oh how bloody glamorous is this all is 😂😂 birth gets worse as well so no hope for us yet lol

FfoxRedN · 21/03/2023 17:07

@TheBirdintheCave How are your temps now? How many DPO? Here's hoping you won't even need those meds. xx

@MrsJGrealish how are you doing lovely? Has the spotting continued? Xx

TheBirdintheCave · 21/03/2023 16:59

@Alexis7890 Nah I'm not moving my holiday. It's not worth it for something that won't even work.

It should fit in before the first week of June, just.

Right now I can't even get the clinic to tell me what protocol I'll be on. They just sent me a list of medication and told me to pay for it. I'm trying to work it out based on that. Just miserable at the moment ☹️

OP posts:
FfoxRedN · 21/03/2023 15:57

@bringmearainbow yes so my gynae (when I tell her) will scan me from 6 weeks. She should pick up her email in the next few days.

@TheBirdintheCave I really hope it works out for you lovely, timings wise I hope they can manipulate the dates for you. Xx

@Alexis7890 cyclogest 2 times a day. I was back dooring it, but those who've been here a while will remember my embarrassing story of 'popping' a little too soon after 😂😂😂. I've also got thrush at the mo due to my antibiotics which is making it all quite unpleasant 🙈, pharmacy trip on my way home. Xx

Alexis7890 · 21/03/2023 15:52

@TheBirdintheCave i don’t know how they do it for people who have natural periods as I know id be given meds to induce a period and start from there but I don’t have them naturally very often. Would moving the holiday be an option to have the cycle when planned?
