@Floralsandsmiles laffin as my dh was like "ready to go again?" To me this morn and we both jus knew nope lmao 🤣 1dpo ...i dont know wats worse the waitin on ovulation or tww. I said waitin on ov before but now im enterin this tww im bored already lol n wishin my life away! Xxx

True @Freya8 , that's how I explained it to DH. It detected the change to the lead up to O.

@Floralsandsmiles the way i would take it would be cb detected a change but body has then went no n then geared up for it again? Ya no wat who bloody knows! Lmao i question this all myself!! We done smep ... honestly do not want sex in my life ever again lolll xxxx

Ha! Very true, those 11 flashing days were hell. This one I knew it was wrong. I just don't read many CB being wrong and strip tests right. But it definitely is as my body feels like it does at ovulation lead up now. So odd xxx

God girls, this is so confusing! I got my static smiley 2 mornings ago but the strip test didn't back it up and rise either, it was 0.10 still...so I've been continuing to test and it starting rising last night with the peak this morning! How weird is that! 2 days from my static. So rather than ovulation being yesterday according to CB (when I couldn't feel a thing and normally can) it looks like it will be tomorrow. Which is defiantly where my body is going as I'm hotter than the sun also lol xxx

I hope we all get our BFP this cycle, but I'm starting to feel abit negative about the whole thing and as if it will never happen 😕 xxx

@Piglet34 @Floralsandsmiles girls see when listening to both your journeys like i was so so silly before really to not be clued in on wat it takes to concieve. Literally didnt even know any of this existed. Feel stupid for just thinkin bish bash bosh in out shake it all about. Everythin has to be perfectly timed perfectly balanced its insane that i was so clueless. Fingers crossed for u both .. like i jus want yous to get ur bfps this cycle xxxx

Aw @Floralsandsmiles that is a lot to take in, can understand why you are overwhelmed! That's good you are on the iron supplement now though hopefully that evens out your hormones a bit, and like @Freya8 said it's a very good indicator that your cycles seem like clockwork as usually people with PCOS are quite irregular. Hope you get some more answers soon!

I actually got my full blood results back a few days ago and I have high SHBG which means I don't have enough available testosterone, not really sure what that means or what impact it has on TTC but I have a ultrasound and AMH blood test results next Wednesday so hoping everything comes back normal then xx

She didn't say anything about the spotting, still waiting on my smear for that but have pushed to have gynaecology have a look as I've had abnormal cells before. It's all just so much stress!
My main worry now is that if the repeat bloods still show high testosterone, then she can't give me medication to level it as that will be down to fertility and we don't qualify 😫😫

@Floralsandsmiles wow i can completely understand why you are so overwhelmed thats alot to take in for you which is immense stress in itself! Did she give a reason for the spotting? Hopefully ur on a high dose of iron now n it completely levels out the testosterone! Crossin everythin for you i really am and hey ur alot stronger than me i tell ya!! I wish u didnt hav to go thru all that worry. Ur body must be doin somethin right.... like u hear of pcos periods irregular? But ur not actually ur lik clockwork? Im no medical whizz here but surely surely it has to count for something that xxx

So for anyone that didn't know the results:

Feeling a little overwhelmed 😕

Bloods have come back as low iron (apparently the supplement im taking is nowhere near enough!)

all other levels are fine, however testosterone is slightly Elevated. Low iron could contribute to this, so they will repeat in 8 weeks when iron supplement has kicked in. If testosterone is still high this could indicate PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) and will be the reason we can't conceive.
(This doesn't make sense though as I'm getting LH levels rise, scan previously showed both ovaries are functioning and progesterone test she said was fine)

I mentioned I fell pregnant 12 years ago on contraception and the GP said that the contraception could have assisted with normalising hormone imbalance, and helped me conceive!

The GP has asked that we look into this syndrome and lifestyle changes, as that could help?
If testosterone remains High then it will be confirmed its PCOS?? Apparently...

It's not impossible to fall pregnant, but very difficult 😕 very sad!

Lifestyle changes is GP wording for lose weight and all my research indicates that losing weight could lower testosterone. So I'm on a huge diet and lost 9lbs last week. I am not letting this beat me. Anyways, really frustrated. However I got a static smiley today and hoping that's good news! Xxx

@Floralsandsmiles @Janeykat welcome back ladies! Sounds like we are all very similar dates in terms of O. I can feel the twingy pains right now so defs think mine is today. My LH was still quite high this morn at 1.02 but not as high as yday. Hope we all have a smooth TWW. Xx

@Freya8 I think O could be on peak day if you are feeling those twinges, guess you are defs covered with DTD either way :) xx

My doc got all my bloodwork back and it all just doesn't make sense to me...so I'm a little stressed.
However I got my static smiley today, so trying not to think on it all xxx

Hi, rejoining the thread today after a months break from TTC! O day was today so am back into the fun of TWW. @Piglet34 and @Freya8 hoping you both hit your peak soon!

@Freya8 yeah think we might have to do that! I also started a manager role today and I am completely stressed so also feeling like this won't be our cycle purely due to stress factor, maybe my O will even end up delaying :/ yeah I think if your peak likely tomorrow then you've already covered yourself :) sounds like you have a great plan this month! Xx

@Piglet34 force urselves at 11pm lolll mine is def more a gradual rise. Just seeing were it goes today n then see wat to do re dtd. Doin smep so cd6,8,10,12 all done. Today is cd 13 ... do i bother? If i think my peak will be tomorrow n we are due to dtd tomorro anyways n then for 2 days after that lol dont wana over kill it 🤣🤣🤣 to be honest am bored already lolll tho least these 2 days are more bloody exciting as somethins happenin xx

@Freya8 I know what you mean it's so pleasing seeing it get darker !! Mine is 1.16 now so definitely peak day and looks like I will O tomorrow. Can DTD tonight but not sure we will manage tomorrow as both in London for work for the day and leave at 6 get back at 11 :/ xx
