Creating a thread for anyone close to ovulation or already in the TWW! I find this journey easier speaking to people going through the same and on the same timeline. We are trying for baby #1 after a MC end of June/July, we was going with the flow but after nothing happening we decided to start tracking ovulation last month and this month i started tracking BBT as well. This month is also our first month using Preseed after I saw so many people say it helped!

I am currently 3DPO - Ovulation was on cycle day 15 confirmed by BBT.

@TTCRainbow thanks, your pics are far more impressive! They've dated me at 12+5 so due date 10.11. My first was 5 days early so I'm hoping for a bonfire night baby.
My nub theory googling also says girl but who knows!

TTCRainbow · 03/05/2023 11:41

@DiamondApricot amazing!!! How was your dates are whats your official NHS due date? I'm saying little girl 💗

Good luck for the scan today @DiamondApricot ❤️

Sb86 · 02/05/2023 19:35

Good luck @Myperfectchaos ❤️

Myperfectchaos · 02/05/2023 18:11

@TTCRainbow those pics are so nice to see 🥰

Myperfectchaos · 02/05/2023 18:09

I’m so nervous for tomorrow! Mine is at 1145

TTCRainbow · 02/05/2023 17:16

@DiamondApricot baby wasn't behaving and was doing flips upside down then when they was trying to measure had its chin tucked in and legs up so they laid me flat and and had to do hip thrusts but it still wasn't good enough so i had so go empty half my bladder and run up and down the stairs lmao We got there in the end!

Screening results they said if there is anything they are worried about they will call with in 3 days if not it will come through in a letter within 2 weeks and 20 week scan should get booked and sent it post too. We are thinking of doing a 16 week private gender scan as well. I sent the scan photos to Nub techs and there was no nub visible so inconclusive 😪not that the sex matters but i love guessing and all the theory's xx

@Sb86 not too much longer to go although feels like such a long wait when you just want to see your baby xx

Yeah @DiamondApricot Thursday at 12, I thought I'd felt a couple of flutters yesterday and the day before...it could have just been a bit of wind haha 😄

What time is your scan tomorrow?

DiamondApricot · 02/05/2023 16:46

@TTCRainbow marvellous news! Fab pics as well, baby was behaving!

Thanks for the luck, I'm so bloody nervous. I swear I can feel a bit of movement so what was a concept is now more real and I just hope they're ok!
Did they say how long for the screening results to come through?

@Sb86 is yours on Thursday?

Sb86 · 02/05/2023 16:42

@TTCRainbow there's always something isn't there. I know what you mean, we've got 2 more sleeps until our 12 week scan and I've had nightmares and well just constantly anxious about it. Them like you say it will be the results of the combined test after to dread and then the rest. One step at a time though and it's a milestone hit isn't it xx

TTCRainbow · 02/05/2023 16:26

@Sb86 no still doesn't feel real!! Such a relief knowing they are still ok and growing but i don't think it will feel real to me until i am in labour lol Hoping all the screening tests come back ok, thats the next worry! But so happy!! xx

Good Luck @DiamondApricot & @Myperfectchaos for tomorrow xxx

@DiamondApricot thank you ❤️

Scan went really well, everything looking all good and dated me 3 days ahead so I’m 12 + 6 today and due date of 8th November. So happy and grateful 🥺❤️

Good luck for tomorrow @TTCRainbow 🍀

TTCRainbow · 28/04/2023 14:37

@DiamondApricot I feel the same! We've actually got a busy weekend planned so i'm hoping that it makes time go faster! I'll have to check my letter when i am home, i don't remember seeing it say anything but i might have missed it.. maybe ill just bring cash with me just in case anyway. I'm in West Sussex, is it different in different areas.. so bad if it is, should all be the same.

Anyone's tummy/bumps growing yet? I had a small lower bloat but this pass week i feel like its starting to look less like bloat and more like a tiny bump! & Anyone feel like they are having a boy or girl? I am convinced mine is a girl. Hoping that 12 week scan shows a nub just for some fun guesses! xx

DiamondApricot · 28/04/2023 14:09

@UnwieldyRhombus excellent news, I'm taking it as a good omen for all of us!
Mine is early too, 9.30am, I've never wanted a weekend to go quicker!
@TTCRainbow I think it probably depends on your trust, does it say on your scan letter?
Mine says bring £5 cash for photos but it said that for my first pregnancy and there was no charge, it was in weird covid times though.

TTCRainbow · 28/04/2023 13:57

@UnwieldyRhombus Yay!! So happy for you. Glad everything is all ok! One day im excited the next im nervous. Im next up then @Myperfectchaos & @DiamondApricot the following day. Mine is a nice early one at 9.35am which i am go glad about as i wouldn't be able to concentrate all day haha I'm a first timer for NHS scan at 12 weeks, do you get your scan photos free?? xx

OP posts:
Myperfectchaos · 28/04/2023 10:18

@UnwieldyRhombus so glad it went well!!! Do you have any scan pics?

UnwieldyRhombus · 27/04/2023 23:18

Scan went well! It was such a relief. Due date is the 4th, which is what they said at the reassurance scan six weeks ago. That's 3 days earlier than the date based on LMP, but I still think I must have ovulated early, so it makes sense.

Now if the sickness and fatigue could go and I could get that second trimester boost, that would be golden!

We haven't done a formal announcement, but we've told family and some close friends. It'd be nice if I can tell people as I see them this time around rather than doing a big announcement.

I actually saw one of our friends (a doctor) at the hospital on my way out and literally ran up to him to show him the photos 😅

TTCRainbow · 27/04/2023 12:50

So nice we are all starting to feel better now but all nervous for scans approaching! I am so positive that everything will be all fine for us all. I will share scan photo on Tuesday.. feel like the days are dragging now!

Yesterday i had the worst bloated/tight pains in my tummy for about 8 hours and did wonder if i should speak to someone but it got better and today im sure my tummy has become a little bump!

Our close family and friend know as well as work but i've been debating doing an Instagram post or reel (i love a reel) lmao as just waited for this moment my whole life (or at least since i was 12 with my first niece) we have a lot of friends on there and a few people who know we was TTC who i would want to share with xxx

OP posts:
DiamondApricot · 27/04/2023 10:05

We're not going to announce as such, told our parents already as we'd want their support if the worst happened but probably just going to mention it as and when we see people. I'm not looking forward to telling work!

Sb86 · 27/04/2023 09:05

I'm not sure yet, I've been thinking about it but we've not really spoken about it...we spoke about it last time and mc. It's so different this time round, I feel so disconnected from this pregnancy. I'm sure if everything is fine at next week's scan we will start to relax about it a bit more and start to get excited. Roll on next week!

Myperfectchaos · 27/04/2023 08:12

My nausea and sickness have started to go a bit, still here but I’m definitely better. Starting to feel slightly more human which is good. Sooo ready for it to be next Wednesday I’m terrified but excited at the same time.

how are you all announcing?

Sb86 · 27/04/2023 07:45

Morning ladies, I've only just started feeling a bit more energetic these last couple of days...the nausea is still lingering slightly but on it's way out I feel. I've got my scan a week today when I'll be 12+5 and it can't come quick enough although I'm so bloody nervous about it. Not had a scan since 6+5 so 6 weeks since we knew for certain that wverything was ok, I'm just praying that my symptoms being how they have is an indication that all has been and is going well.

Good luck to everyone who's having scans today xx
