TWW - Testing Around 1st March

Creating a thread for anyone close to ovulation or already in the TWW! I find this journey easier speaking to people going through the same and on the same timeline. We are trying for baby #1 after a MC end of June/July, we was going with the flow but after nothing happening we decided to start tracking ovulation last month and this month i started tracking BBT as well. This month is also our first month using Preseed after I saw so many people say it helped!

I am currently 3DPO - Ovulation was on cycle day 15 confirmed by BBT.

Hey @TTCRainbow I was bbt-ing all the time for the past 11 months but last month I decided it was too stressful especially after I'd ovulated. As I was examining it every day looking for patterns and drips etc. I went back to it this month just because I like my natural cycles app to confirm when I ovulated but I do the ovulation tests anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️ Whatever will be will be unfortunately so I think if you can take the stress of it away by stopping bbt then I'd say stop doing it and see how you get on.

This is it on fertility friend.. today 6DPO was only 10/15 minutes before normal time I test my temperature.

Do I stop temping and just wait for AF because I feel like I was really relaxed about it and now I’m not 😭😭 I hate the TWW. Just want out rainbow baby.. i was doing so well but feeling really emotional today 😢

PreMom is such a blunt tool and I find its graphs really user unfriendly. Maybe try downloading Fertility Friend, as that tends to be much clearer. I think your chart looks like you probably ovulated but download FF and see what that looks like...

Anyone on here a regular BBT’er or know anything about them? This is mine so far and I thought my ovulation was confirmed but on premom someone said it wasn’t and now I’m feeling really down and confused 😩

thank you although not so sure now, another BFN this morning and I feel like AF might be on the way 😩 although DH helpfully said that if ovulation was 36 hours from my peak then I could actually be only 10dpo. Hope you’re doing okay today! Xx

@Emmalou0607 ah that’s good you know roughly when it should be but it is good to have a few months of being chilled, I know easier said than done xx

@Luna0905 thanks for the welcome! Yes have been ovulation tracking for a few months now. Have tried to be less ocd about it this month hoping this would de stress the situation but hasn't helped much 😬

Hey Ladies, I would like to join, I'm ttc #1 and this is my second cycle, I'm 7dpo and due AF on 28th but going to wait until the 3rd to test unless AF shows, I was two days late last month and had my hopes up a bit so I'm going to try as much as possible to wait 🫣🫣.

How are you all getting through the TWW? I'm going to try and start a new book today to keep me occupied 🙈🙈

haha I know I’m obsessed too. My FRERs got delivered not so long ago, I’m stilling on my hands so I don’t do one tonight 🤣

I’m slightly less bloated today and not as nauseous but I have headache, backache, cramps, shooting pains in my hips and legs, sore boobs, mood swings and crying at absolutely everything. How are you doing now?

My CM is creamy, I’ve read that can be an early sign, I’m normally much drier at this time.

7dpo, AF due 1st March so will either be testing or crying 😅
Been trying since July with no luck so far. Had some tests just because of some medical concerns but other than slightly low morphology for my DH there's not a clear answer as to why it's not happening at the moment. Just frustrating

Are you testing again in the morning? I’ll probably be up at 5am testing as I’ve woken up at same time all week 😂

@Amadeaa welcome! Sounds like CD20 might be a bit early to test, any idea when you ovulated roughly? Best of luck to you on your journey xx

Hi all, mind if I join? This is my first TWW trying to conceive #1. I really wanted to take it easy and didn’t even track ovulation…I thought I’ll just see what happens and will test if I miss my period. But I’m now on CD20 and feel super crampy all day with pain on my left side and back…wondering if I should test tomorrow (and go against my take it easy approach 😂). But surely it would be too early? My cycles are quite regular, 27-29 days. Good luck everyone

What's confusing me at 10DPO is the lack of PMS and I also feel great and have high energy almost like my heart is beating quicker 🤣 maybe I haven't ovulated at all and it's going to me a long PCOS cycle and AF won't even come either. It's a minefield

Yes I've tested everyday on cheapys 10DPO and nothing, not out until AF shows. Don't know if I have a feeling anymore, feel like AF is on way. Either way is a win for me as if she comes on time I am regulating

Definitely not out until AF arrives and 10dpo is still early! Hang in there! Today feels like it’s going on forever, I just want it to be tomorrow morning already so I can test again 😂
It’s good to have a positive outlook to see things as a positive, all steps in the right direction. I try to do this too so I don’t get depressed about everything xxx

@Luna0905 I got weirdly impatient and emotional all of a sudden earlier today and this was not what I was expecting😵and yep, that's me being convinced I could see something on a cheapie, trying another one, grabbing an early detection Clearblue and having my husband agree there was a line there, and then going out and dropping £££ on a digital early detection test to confirm we weren't crazy. Hey, I'm a scientist by trade and you can't make firm conclusions on the back of just one experiment 😉

I've never tested before the expected day of period, so I don't know what to think. Given I'm only 9DPO (or CD24), I'm thinking possibly either
(a) I ovulated earlier than I thought especially given that the colour progression didn't seem quite consistent (I put that down to PCOS at the time)
(b) I think I may have had chemical pregnancies/unknown early losses before, given that I've had 2 cycles with similar symptoms to now and I was convinced I was pregnant but wouldn't let myself test until expected period and then period came roughly on time but SUPER heavy, long and painful to the extent that I wondered whether I should be seeking medical attention.

That said...I'm very happy. Cautiously happy. I'll try and hold off testing against until expected period on Tuesday but even if it does turn out to be chemical, it's a positive sign.

Sorry for the essay, I have a lot of thoughts and I'm all in my feelings!

Oh wow, that’s amazing to get a clear line and a digital at 9dpo - as you say you might have ovulated earlier than you thought.
