Hey ladies! Talk to me, how many days did you get flashing smiling faces, before the static? And are you testing more than once a day once you have the flashing smiley? I am doing both CB and my strip tests. However the strip tests seem so low. Worried they are dud!
I got the first flashing smiley yesterday and now today. I saw some reviews that people have had flashing smiley faces for 9 days and then test stopped working.. xxx

Thanks everyone! I researched online and it said lay down for 15 mins after, so I think I did half an hour for good measure! Lol
My DH was so sweet though, he was kissing my tummy and asking all the little men to go march on to find the egg haha I relaxed somewhat after that xxx

I used to jump up and pee pretty much straight away. From what I’d read any decent sperm would be long on their way by then. I also used to DTD for about 4 days in a row, up to when I thought ovulation was coming, the day I got a static, on the day and the day after. Obviously on those days it wasn’t quite where I thought it was we’d usually have a day off then get back on it lol 😂

Luna0905 · 21/02/2023 07:17

I guess I do lie down for a while after but don’t consciously do it for any particular amount of time xx

TTCno1in23 · 20/02/2023 23:01

I lie there a good 15 mins if I have the time😅 no idea if it’s making any difference though!!

Floralsandsmiles · 20/02/2023 19:08

How long does everyone wait before moving after DTD? I'm so scared to move too soon after, and disturb the little men making their way up! Lol xxx

Try not to worry too much yet @Floralsandsmiles! My cycles are between 27-29 days so should ovulate on day 14 but it’s always day 17-19! Implantation can happen anytime from 6DPO so a shorter luteal phase isn’t always a bad thing - less time for the TWW🤣

Thank you @TTCno1in23! This is good to know! I bet I will be CD17 too! Xxx

Yes I usually get cramps and pain which feels like it’s my ovary. I’m sure it’s coming if you’re feeling twinges xx

Aww OK, this is good! Xxx

Thank you @Luna0905 , I will try not to worry so much about every little thing.. lol can you feel your ovulation? I could swear I felt light cramping in my left side after DTD yesterday. Wishful thinking I think lol xxx

I know, I'm a worrier too 😞I overthink everything too but I thought after 3 years, we have nothing to lose at this point.
try not to stress (easier said than done I know!), it can happen play havoc with cycles. I was saying to DH yesterday, I can actually see in my cycle lengths when I changed jobs to a less stressful job and they have been much more regular since -just shows what a difference it makes! xxx

I am tempted every day during the fertile period, but worried it will have the opposite effect and have it too watered down by the time of ovulation? I worry alot lol xxxx

We were recommended every other day so should be fine. We dtd everyday from about CD6 to CD18 this month to see it would make a difference- let’s see! DH was very on board with this 😂xxx

Thank you @Luna0905 😊 I will definitely keep up on the testing twice a day! Just hoping this static is soon or then isn't it the luteal phase isn't long enough? 😒
And yes - please let me know if you get your BFP! I'm crossing all my fingers for you! Xxx

I’m sure it will, definitely keep up doing them twice a day if you can! I got really disheartened this month when it took ages, I got excited when it finally came 😂
I definitely think I’d been missing ovulation some months before we started using the CB - I have PCOS so no idea what happened to my cycles some months. Since I’ve been using them, it’s the only time I’ve ever had a BFP even thought it was a chemical so definitely think the help!
Keep us updated! I will let you know if I get my BFP this month - 7dpo today! Xx

@Luna0905 I’m 4 DPO today, trying not to symptom spot but it’s so hard isn’t it! Fingers crossed this month is our month 🤞🏼

Ah amazing, hope the TWW is passing ok for you! I did say I wasn’t testing early but agreed with DH that I’m allowed to do one on Saturday morn which will be 12dpo 😂 I had strong cramps this morning that I could barely stand up so hopefully that’s a good sign. I’m really hoping this is both our months 🥰
nice to have a TWW buddy again ☺️ xxx

Thanks for this @Luna0905! I'm worried as to if my LH will ever rise 😔
I would love to know how successful these tests are with BFP afterwards as they are pinpointing the exact days.. xxx

They’re really good at looking at tint differences in LH, the more you do the more it learns what your usual levels are.

I had a static on day 11 when I fell pregnant with my second (ovulated 3 days later than I expected). I would only do one a day with the longest overnight hold (but gross but if I went to the loo in the evening I’d keep some pee and test that in the morning if my next hold was shorter).

Thank you @Scalessayeek. I'm now CD14 and I'm supposed to ovulate today or tomorrow (ideally). Was just expecting it to have risen by now...
I'm probably imagining it, but after DTD yesterday, I could feel strange cramping in my left side. But I know it's way to early. Just wishing maybe xxx

I’ve been using the CB for 3 months and had been getting 2-3 days of flashing but this month I had 6 days of flashing and was testing with FMU and late evening. I thought the peak wasn’t going to come this month but it eventually did at CD16 PM. I did have a CP last month so think it may have pushed ovulation back by a day or two.
good luck to everyone xxx

How many days have you had a flashing smiley for @Floralsandsmiles ?

@TTCno1in23 this is my 3rd day now on flashing smiley, I had x2 days of empty circle before that. ovulation is predicted to be either today or tomorrow... and as I'm always on tune with AF, so cycle and dates marry up, I'm inclined to believe the predicted ovulation dates. It's just worrying me as LH isn't increasing.. xxx
