@TunnocksTCake I think frers tend to show a line the day after implantation so as long as you’ve implanted by CD10 (which most people do but not all) then you should get at least a faint line on frer

NSx · 16/02/2023 13:51

@TunnocksTCake i think 11dpo is a pretty solid day to test with a frer I think if u were pregnant you would defo have some sort of line?

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 13:41

@Matildahoney Thats a good plan, I'm in 2 minds about whether to test next Friday as we are going to stay with DHs sister for the weekend and I want to know whether I can drink... that would be 11DPO so I guess theres a chance of something showing on a FRER....

Matildahoney · 16/02/2023 13:31

@TunnocksTCake haven't decided yet! We're out to lunch with family on 26th so I'm tempted to wait til after that as I don't want to ruin it for myself!

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 13:16

This pregnancy our last dtd was peak day as couldn’t do it ovulation day.

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 13:15

@TunnocksTCake everyone is different. We always stopped dtd ovulation day (day after peak) as it that was our last day in fertile time and I got pregnant 3 cycles in a row so it’s definitely not too early for us to stop but everyone is different it’s so hard to know

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 13:07

@Matildahoney yes you definitely covered your bases! Just something to bear in mind when you start testing as it might be 2 days off what FF says! We're almost cycle buddies - one day apart, do you know when you will be testing?

@allgoodthings84 thanks, thats interesting. I'm pretty sure I did O the day after peak thinking about CM and I get sore boobs in the luteal phase which began then too, but I was just thinking it might mean I've been stopping too early... Anything to worry about, and I'll grab onto it!

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 12:53

most people within 24 hours that meant to say. We all know apps aren’t accurate for everyone they just go with the average

allgoodthings84 · 16/02/2023 12:51

I think most people do ovulate within 48 hours after that’s why the apps all say it as they all go with the average. I know I’m definitely within 24 hours as my EWCM goes and I feel it most cycles and had blood tests twice which pretty much confirmed it. If I ovulated any later the results wouldn’t have been as high

NatGee · 16/02/2023 12:45

@Matildahoney thats a good point @TunnocksTCake has made. But it looks like you continued to dtd which I think covers you just in case

Sounds like I need to continue for a good few days after FF tells me I ovulated. I usually stop at 1DPO

Matildahoney · 16/02/2023 12:42

Might have been me moving info over from premom to FF. But I peaked sat on opk then DTD sat, sun, Mon, had Tues off and again yesterday so should be ok either way. If not we'll try again next month!

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 12:36

@Matildahoney yes, that was what made me think FF is wrong - it has you ovulating the day before your peak at the moment!
@NatGee that's what I thought! Probably should have carried on another night but oh well!

NatGee · 16/02/2023 12:12

@TunnocksTCake up to three days?! yikes

Matildahoney · 16/02/2023 12:02

@TunnocksTCake thank you, my peak was 100% Saturday, barely had a line any other day! I thought you ovulated 24-36 hours after peak, that's what someone on another thread said, I really should read up on it all myself! I'll just keep an eye and see what happens! But DP was pleased to have Tuesday and today off 🤣 he also feel asleep on the sofa last night!

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 11:45

@Matildahoney As I said I am a little out of practice but I would say you ovulated CD16 - after the peak OPK, and your dotted line should be just above that temp? So dont be surprised if you arent as many DPO as FF is saying...
Does anyone know why all the apps assume you Ovulate the day after peak when it can happen up to 3 days after?

TunnocksTCake · 16/02/2023 11:31

Thanks for the tag, and thank you all for your advice on the last thread. DH fell asleep on the sofa on Tuesday night anyway so the decision was out of my hands 😂 poor bloke, obviously needed a rest! Now 3DPO and hating the tww already 😣
I have been half temping but I keep forgetting and my sleep is so bad at the moment I'm not sure it will be of any use. I found it really useful when TTC my first and had a similar thing as you @NSx so I just knew!
@allgoodthings84 glad the scan went well, fingers crossed the results take their sweet time :)

Matildahoney · 16/02/2023 11:27

@NSx this is mine so far, I have no idea what's normal 🤣

NSx · 15/02/2023 13:21

@Matildahoney yes fertility friend is great for temping it’s really good for the charts you start to be able to compare and see patterns. My charts were always following the same pattern as the right one. Rising and rising where as this month it was the opposite so I had a sneaking suspicion something may be happening!
people talk rubbish, I don’t think it’s the same for everyone maybe some people are more fertile for me it wasn’t the case, it took me 3 months the first time around and like 8/9 months second time! X

OP posts:
Matildahoney · 15/02/2023 13:08

@NSx ooh that's a good chart, better than the one I have! I'll look at that app, might move all my data over to it & see how it looks. I'll keep temping then! See what happens. Thank you!
I completely agree about everyone's bloody comments! So annoying.

NSx · 15/02/2023 13:03

@allgoodthings84 thats all u need to hear ❤️❤️❤️ I’m so happy for u x

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 15/02/2023 12:59

@NSx the sonographer at the end said “congratulations on your baby it looks like a very healthy baby from what a scan can tell us at this stage” so I’m going to start feeling more positive now.

NSx · 15/02/2023 12:50

@allgoodthings84 fingers crossed for you 🤞❤️ im confident all is well. That’s where things started to go wrong for me the last time so I’m terrified of getting to that stage! But if things look good in the scan then I’m sure it’s all perfect, sending you lots of positive vibes x

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 15/02/2023 12:48

My scan went really well. Just waiting on my downs, Edwards, Patau risk results to come through (which is 3-5 working days if anything wrong and up to 10 if low risk)! So not telling my daughter u too after that but the NT measurements were great and the nasal bone was looking good so hopefully all ok

NSx · 15/02/2023 12:48

@allgoodthings84 honestly I have no clue 😂 ttc and pregnancy is a fickle thing isn’t it 😫❤️

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 15/02/2023 12:45

@NSx I got the sticky baby the cycle after I stopped taking vit b complex 😂 I was taking it up until then as meant to help with spotting but it didn’t help and my bloods showed my b vit levels were fine.
