Fingers crossed for you!!
I'm CD17 so not looking too hopeful for me... At this point I'd be happy just knowing that I'm going to ovulate, let alone anything else! This cp and now waiting to o is making time for soo slowly in-between trying again!x

Mummy1502 · 14/03/2023 14:41

@HannahLouD what cycle day are you on now? Thankyou maybe it might be a good thing but not getting my hopes up, will keep tracking opks and see if they keep getting darker x

And this was my frer the same day...

Hello again! Sorry, busy day at work!
This is only my third cycle since coming off the pill at the end of December so hard to know... My first cycle was 31 days (ovulated around cd16) then last cycle I also ovulated around cd16 but my cycle was 37 days due to the chemical so I guess I assumed I would ovulate cd16 again? šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Before I got my bfp last month, my opks started getting darker at 9dpo... This was mine at 14dpo (apparently they can confuse hcg with LH as mine clearly did!) So it could be an early sign for you!? šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤žx

@HannahLouD this was my opk from this morning, after my peak I had a day of it still being very dark then they went faint again but now seem to be getting darker, hoping it’s not af on the way x

@HannahLouD i know how you feel, long term sufferer of anxiety too, I also had cbt a few years ago and tried various medications, am actually thinking of trying sertraline, I had it prescribed a few weeks ago when I had the chemical as I just felt I wasn’t coping well with the disappointment and my anxiety has been playing up ever since, I havnt picked the prescription up yet though (health anxiety so fear of medication) however I have been taking a multi vitamin which for me is a positive as before I wouldn’t touch anything with fear of side effects etc, I probably sound crazy now šŸ˜‚ it is hard to relax though isn’t it when you want something so much, I’ve been doing my opks every day still just to see what they are like throughout my whole cycle rather than just stopping when I have a positive, today the test looks quite dark, not positive but they seem to be getting darker, can’t say wether that’s normal for me or not as never tracked my whole cycle before, however from what I have read before is that the lh can surge again before af arrives, obviously I’m hoping this isn’t the case but I’m trying not to worry, I know I will probably test with a FRER on day 10, which will be in 3 days but I’m scared, mostly of it being negative but also if there is even a faint line I will worry, not sure if you remember what my lines were like last month but they were very faint, only slightly got darker and then went faint again until I got a negative confirming the chemical, will carry on with the opks until then but really trying not to stress this month, am feeling very off today and felt like I pulled a muscle in my lower right side yesterday, slight heavy feeling in lower abdomen but I think it’s from whatever I have picked up, it’s hard to not think every little twinge could be due to pregnancy, really not wanting to get my hopes up so feeling pretty down everyday until af is due as not expecting it to be good news, are your cycles normally the same every month? X

@Mummy1502 thanks for checking in!
Nope... Cheap opks still negative, (5th day flashing smilies on cb digital), still no temp drop like I've had the last 2 cycles and my cervix is really hard and closed... I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon, if at all. To be honest I think as well as the cp causing this it's also probably massively down to stress. I am so stressed and anxious and worried and I've just convinced myself I'm never going to ovulate, let alone get pregnant.
I suffer with anxiety as it is and am having CBT for it, but I don't actually know if I can carry on ttc. It's taking over my life and it's only been 3 months. I want a baby more than anything and so does my partner (he isn't the dad of my daughter) but I'm honestly tempted to just go back on the pill so I don't have to worry and obsess about everything anymore. Maybe I should just be happy that I have my daughter and leave it at that.
I know I'm being insanely ott and ridiculous but I just feel sad and stressed every day... Ugh.
Sorry you're not feeling very well... I hope you feel better soon! šŸ’•
I'd like to think that if I do ovulate this month I won't test early, but I know that's not true... I know I'll end up testing at 10dpo. Thing is, even if I didn't test early last time, I still was getting positives at 16/17dpo... I dunno.
I agree with you though, absolutely not spending half my wages on pregnancy tests again!! x

Mummy1502 · 14/03/2023 07:05

@HannahLouD whats your ovulation test like today? I think I’ve picked up a virus, woke up with a sore ear, sore throat, feel sick and diarrhoea (sorry tmi) 7dpo today and proud I’ve still not tested usually start testing from day 6 then get upset when it’s negative even though it’s too early šŸ˜‚ hoping I can hold out until af is due as I only have one FRER and refuse to spend loads on p tests like I did my last 2 cycles x

@Mummy1502 thank you so much for your message! You're right, it's great to be able to speak with others in similar situations and to be able to vent when you need to!
I'm glad that your body seemed to kick back into action like normal after your cp and so exciting that you're in the tww again... Got my fingers crossed for you!!
I didn't feel pregnant at all last month but was so... Who knows!
With my DD (5 next month) I knew before I tested as I had so many symptoms... I guess it can be different every time but I absolutely wouldn't rule anything out based on not feeling pregnant!
I just want to ovulate so I know that things are working properly again... Ttc feels like a constant waiting game! I really hope I don't have an anovulatory cycle this month... I'll have to wait and see I guess x

Mummy1502 · 13/03/2023 14:54

@HannahLouD dont be silly know one will judge you on here, in fact I did the same, drank for a few days in the evenings drowning my sorrows whilst I was bleeding, then eventually picked myself back up and had to think positive, I got so down when I started bleeding just felt like it was never going to happen, the longer it takes the harder it gets doesn’t it, I keep telling myself this month I just don’t know what’s going to happen, I’m actually even too scared to test early, whereas before I would be poas by now, my cp bleed started 2 days after af was due so I wasn’t too far out of my cycle, I keep thinking if I hadn’t have tested I wouldn’t have even known, it’s hard not to get obsessed by it all when you feel like it’s not happening, tbh I’ve not got symptoms this month like I did last month so it’s not looking hopeful, the most I’ve had is a bit of sore boobs and a bit of nausea here and there but I think the nausea is down to the vitamins I’ve been taking this month, last month I just knew from day of ovulation that I was pregnant, this month I just don’t think so, only had a couple of niggles here and there, last month I had lots of on/off cramping, who knows, will just have to wait it out and hope for the best, at least we have this thread to vent if we need to and keep each other updated x

@Mummy1502 thanks for the message!
I'm ok thanks... Just frustrated!
Hope you're doing well!
Yes, my last cycle ended in a cp at 4+6 weeks... Tests stopped progressing around 13dpo so took a week to bleed after I realised what was going on.
I have had weird random days all throughout this cycle so far of watery cm (this is fertile for me as I've never ever had ewcm) but nothing has come of it... I'm on my 4th day of flashing smilies on my CB digital opk and my ics aren't getting any darker at all. I did have 6 days of flashing smilies on our first cycle ttc (this is cycle 3) so I'm not giving up complete hope... But I just really wanted to ovulate on time as it's felt like forever since I realised I was having a cp and obviously then still have the ttw after I do eventually hopefully o... I'm not holding out hope this month at all though.
(I know people may judge - I am judging myself and feel really, really stupid and ashamed) but the day I started bleeding from my cp me and DP were meeting up with friends and I felt so down that I got completely and utterly wasted... Obviously haven't had a drink since, but I reckon I could have already ruined my chances this month from that. Ugh.
Just another waiting game now I guess... šŸ¤žx

Mummy1502 · 13/03/2023 14:31

@HannahLouD how are you? Did your last cycle end in cp? I remember your name from before, sadly my last cycle ended in cp too, I had a positive opk this cycle around the same time I normally would (day 10) I’m currently 6 dpo, I hate the waiting too, I’m unsure wether I actually ovulated though but I caught my peak opk, normally they are just about the same colour as control line but this month was darker (maybe one just never caught peak in other cycles) x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 13/03/2023 11:21

Has anyone ovulated late or not ovulated at all after a cp? Starting to worry I won't o at all this month... Feels like literally forever since I realised I was having a chemical... It's only actually been 19 days since the start of my cp but this waiting for ovulation sucks... Just want to try again! :(

Thanks all x

Mummy1502 · 13/03/2023 07:24

Mummy1502 · 02/03/2023 09:56

Ready for cycle 3, pic is last 3 days of ovulations tests, bottom today, hoping to get a positive ovulation test in the next few days if my cycle has gone back to normal since the chemical, I’m not hopeful I will ovulate so soon after though, all pregnancy tests did turn negative so doctor said was okay to start trying again if I felt ready x

Mummy1502 · 27/02/2023 07:44

@flightless55 how long after we’re you told to test? I’m guessing hcg would drop quite quick being so early on, my levels took around 6 weeks to drop back to 0 last time so was stressful, all I’ve got on my pad now looks like little streaks of old brown blood which is normally what I get at the end of my period anyway, is it worth getting checked out to see why I miscarried before and now a chemical or will they not do anything as it’s only been 2? X

Until I got negative, as you say as it was early may not be too long
I'm not sure about investigations as maybe different areas of the country have different rules - where I am it's 3
Be kind to yourself it's a hard time Flowers
