@Mummy1502 I'm taking those vitamins as well :)
Yes, I'm temping - last month I had a big temp drop the day before ovulation and then my temps went up and stayed up until about half way through my bleed.
So far my temps have been pretty much the same every single day so far (I'm actually temping vaginally this time and it seems to be much more stable and accurate).
My tests were positive until the day I started bleeding (so stayed positive until around 20dpo) x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 12:20

@HannahLouD how long did it take for your pregnancy tests to go to negative after the cp if you don’t mind me asking? Mine seemed to change pretty quick but mine were really faint anyway x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 12:18

@HannahLouD what vitamins are you taking? I’m taking the pregnacare fertility ones, it’s so hard not to stress isn’t it, I’m sure you will ovulate soon, did you say your temping aswell? X

@Mummy1502 haha, I wouldn't mind a Christmas baby, but I'd feel bad if I was away from my daughter over Christmas because of it šŸ™ˆ
The digital ones work by taking your baseline levels and showing a solid blank circle until it detects a rise in oestrogen then starts flashing and then when it sees your LH peak it does to a static smiley face... the idea behind it being you should be in your fertile period when it starts flashing and that should last a couple of days before it turns static... but it clearly doesn't work for me because it's been flashing for a week šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø
Yes, I started taking pregnancy multivitamins about 6 weeks ago now. Up until then I was just taking folic acid from October/November. We knew we wanted to start trying in December/January so wanted to get the folic acid in my system beforehand.
I've just done another IC opk after a 4 hour hold and it's still exactly the same as it's been since I started testing with them.
I keep of flip flopping between being like "it's fine, it's just the cp knocking things off a bit, it'll happen" to "screw everything, I give up, I'm never going to ovulate"... Stressful!! and then I still have the tww if and when I do ovulate... I need to find some patience in me somewhere!!! x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 11:33

@HannahLouD how lovely to have a little Christmas baby, I’ve never used the digital opk so no idea how they work, at least doing the bd you are covering it if you did already ovulate but not picked it up, so you take any vitamins or anything? We used pre seed this month again and I started a multivitamin hoping it would help x

@Mummy1502 Ah thank you! šŸ¤ž I've realised though that IF it did happen for me this month, the longer it takes for me to ovulate, the closer to Christmas my due date would be if it did happen šŸ˜‚ not that I would care...!
Hahaha! That made me laugh! I know the feeling... At the moment I'm not even waiting for bed time, I'm waiting for the afternoon just so I can check my LH levels again šŸ˜‚ Constantly wishing time away, which I know I shouldn't! Yes, I've still got the flashing smilies šŸ˜šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø And this is why I shouldn't ask my partner to bd all the time just because the flashing ones start... they can last foreverrrrr hahaa šŸ™ˆx

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 11:15

@HannahLouD yea I kept thinking maybe it’s okay but I just knew once I started bleeding it was gone, I really do hope this month is positive for us both, will keep updated everyday with tests I’m sure šŸ˜‚ are you still getting flashing smileys on your opk? Hmmm cramping in my lower right side as we speak, I will be worried about every twinge now, is it bedtime yet so I can poas tomorrow x

HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 11:08

@Mummy1502 Ah yes, I remember your lines from before... I think the thing is, when you're going through it, you want to hold onto all hope that you have, so it's hard to accept it, even if you know it's probably what's happening. I knew for sure at 14dpo when my lines stalled... but I kept on reading stories of similar happening and everything being ok so I held onto a bit of false hope for a week until I started bleeding. At least I know now what to look out for if it did happen again (which I obviously hope it doesn't!)
I'm really sorry to hear about your loss in November as well as last month, that's really tough :( I really hope you're ok. I honestly wish you all the best this month! Please keep us posted with your progression!! Hopefully I'll be able to say that I have my peak opk in not too long... and then fingers and toes crossed I might get my bfp too! x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 10:48

@HannahLouD we lost one at 7 weeks in November and have been trying ever since, I had false positives in January (unless that was another cp) and then a cp last month x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 10:45

@HannahLouD yea I can see your 9dpo line, mine didn’t get much darker than that last time so I’d say yours were very good lines, il attach my progression, I should have known it was chemical, it’s a really hard process to go through isn’t it, takes all the joy out of it coz your just worried it won’t stick, we can get through it together x

@Mummy1502 I feel sad again now šŸ˜žšŸ™„ cps are horrible... Even when you've only known a little while. Ugh. x

HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 10:21

Ah I can defo see that! Eeek how exciting! I have everything crossed this one sticks for you šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž
I bet you will end up testing everyday now šŸ˜… I know I will if I ever see even another shadow of a line aha.
Have you been trying for long?
This was mine at 9dpo (if you can even see it!) And then mine at 13dpo at the darkest it got... So it progressed fairly well, until it didn't...
I think next time once I get a dye stealer I will feel a tiiiiny bit more relaxed šŸ˜… although probably won't relax at all until the 12 week scan. Anyway... Got to ovulate first to even stand a chance so getting very ahead of myself here šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚x

@HannahLouD this one you can see it better I’ve inverted it, I thought I was going mad when I thought I saw a line, didn’t think to open the test, I know lots of people say not to, this is gonna be a long 6 days waiting to see if af turns up and trying not to test everyday x

@HannahLouD okay after taking the test apart there is defo a faint line on there, I’m scared x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 09:36

@HannahLouD yea I don’t know why I tested early I said I wouldn’t šŸ˜‚ will try tomorrow though just to see if it was a real line and not an indent, not had much cramping at all, last month I had loads so I’m really not sure, boobs are sore and keep feeling sick in the mornings and I’m super tired but I think the sickness is defo due to the vitamins, I know it’s too early for symptoms anyway but just comparing to last month and thinking it’s different, I said the same if this isn’t our month I’m not testing with opks just gonna try go with the flow, really hoping you get your ovulation soon x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 09:06

@Mummy1502 8dpo is still sooo early to get a line! I got a vvvvvvvvvfl (only really visible by taking the frer apart and holding it up to the light) on 9dpo, then a slightly more visible line on 10dpo. It wasn't really until 11dpo that it was an obvious pink line and not a squinter! I really wouldn't worry yet! I've got my fingers crossed that it only gets stronger and stronger! šŸ¤ž
I'll keep testing until I run out of opks I guess... (If I test 2-3 times a day I have about 9 days worth left of the ics) and I have 8 CB digital ones left... If I don't catch a peak by then then I really will give up as I'd basically be due AF at that point!
I've decided that if I don't get pregnant and have a sticky one this cycle (which is obviously looking very unlikely), I'm not monitoring anything next time. It's causing me wayyyyy too much stress and anxiety. x

HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 09:00

@cavebaby thank you... I know deep down that it is probably just the cp throwing it off, but it's just soo frustrating waiting! I also read that if you o after cd21 it's more likely to end in a cp or miscarriage... Don't know how true that is though.
I just don't think my body is gearing up for it at all... I had loads of fertile cm about a week ago and it's all dried up now. Also I've never checked my cervix in previous cycles but it feels low and hard (no idea how long before ovulation it's supposed to change mind you!). I know for sure I didn't ovulate when I had the cm because I track my bbt and it's still very consistently low and obviously I haven't had any positive opks either. Who knows šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
I'm fully aware I'm being very impatient but at this point I just want to know things are working again! šŸ™„šŸ˜…x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 09:00

@HannahLouD im doubting it myself just where it’s so faint, barely visible I will test again tomorrow morning see if it was a real line, keep testing your whole cycle don’t give up x

@cavebaby I hope so will keep updated x

OP posts:
cavebaby · 15/03/2023 08:09

@Mummy1502 Hopefully it develops into a lovely strong line!

@HannahLouD Your cycle could have just been thrown from the CP. I don't ovulate normally until day 19/20 so although it's late for you, don't completely give up on it happening, your body may just be taking its time.

HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 07:42

Ah amazing, how exciting! Tentative congrats! šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž
Still no signs of ovulation for me... I'm starting to think I might have an anovulatory cycle which would suckkk. As far as I know I've never had one before so would be just my luck I'll have one after my chemical šŸ™„ I'll keep on testing till the weekend and then I think I'll give up x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 06:59

@HannahLouD 8dpo today, I caved and did my FRER! Wish I didn’t coz I can see the faintest line, looked in every light it’s not a shadow, why didn’t I just wait, now I will worry x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 14/03/2023 16:24

@HannahLouD i seem to have a lot of ewcm today, not sure what’s going on, maybe I didn’t ovulate before and going to late? Surely not though af is due in 7 days x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 14/03/2023 16:01

@HannahLouD maybe the cp has just knocked it out by a few days, you were further along than me weren’t you, I’m sure you will ovulate x
