@Bubblesandballoons did you ever get your sticky blood results back? Xx

TheBirdintheCave · 18/04/2023 19:19

@Ella31 Maybe try and arrange a scan at the EPU? I agree that seven weeks doesn't sound right for AF return.

Ella31 · 18/04/2023 18:27

I'm beginning to worry a lot. Nearly every post I read who has had a chemical has either ovulated within a month and I'm going on 7 weeks with no ovulation or period. I am getting static smileys bit that's about it. I'm not pregnant either. Tests all negative.

Joonbug23 · 18/04/2023 17:03

Thank you so much @Hankthehonk - wishing lots of positivity and luck to you too!

@tulipsunday i used the pre-packed internal application tubes (I bought them from Amazon - a pack of 3).
I used them 2 days before, the day before, and day of ovulation (tracking with OPKs to identify rise and peak).
I was only going to use one on the day I got my peak, but thought sod it, let’s give it a real good go and used them each day haha!

I definitely found it helped with producing/mimicking ewcm for me!
Best of luck!😃

tulipsunday · 18/04/2023 14:55

Congrats @Joonbug23 ! Wonderful news. Do you mind me asking if the conceive plus is an external or internal application? Just debating what to try this month as have also had a lack of EWCM post miscarriages. Thanks.

Good luck everyone for this cycle. CD 12 and Ovulation tests starting to darken but not at high or peak yet according to premom app xx

DHB · 17/04/2023 19:48

@buckingmad Thank you, I will keep testing once a day and hope it goes up :)

buckingmad · 17/04/2023 18:57

@DHB most people have a luteal phase (the time between ovulating and AF arriving) of 10-14 days so if you have a 28-30 day cycle you’re probably ovulating around cd14-16ish. So don’t worry that you’ve not got a higher reading yet, you’re still quite early in your cycle!

DHB · 17/04/2023 18:35

@buckingmad They’re usually around 28-30 days but not a clue when I ovulate, this is my first month testing!

buckingmad · 17/04/2023 15:22

@DHB how long are your cycles? I have a longer cycle so I don't ovulate until CD18. I've been testing since my period ended this month just because I had a miscarriage 2 months ago so my cycles are still a bit weird. Some people have a slow increase whereas others (me) have a quick surge. I literally go from a low reading to peak in 24 hours. Keep testing once a day!

Daniki · 17/04/2023 13:33

@Ella31 I'm no expert of course but 7 weeks seems long after a chemical. It could be completely normal but worthwhile mentioning to check all ok, takes the worry out too? Xx

Daniki · 16/04/2023 21:03

@Ella31 it's hard when that comes around. I was due the 3rd April and found it very tough. We're you normally regular cycles before this? Might be worthwhile following up with GP/ EPU?

I was very regular. Should it have come back by now? It's been nearly 7 weeks.

Hankthehonk · 17/04/2023 12:56

@Joonbug23 Huge congratulations and thank you so much for sharing! It makes me really happy to read stories like yours, partly for my own encouragement and hope, but also because I'm genuinely happy for you, knowing what you've been through. Sending good wishes for a healthy pregnancy

TheBirdintheCave · 17/04/2023 09:25

@Joonbug23 Congratulations! :D

Daniki · 17/04/2023 09:20

@Joonbug23 congrats! Hope it's a sticky bean, best of luck ❤️

OPK QUESTION

CD10 today, surely my OPKs should be increasing at least some what, not completing zero 😩

@Joonbug23 Oh my goodness congratulations!! That is such lovely news! Wish you all the best 💗🌈

Hi again ladies,
just an update on my third month of TTC after my missed miscarriage and d&c in December.

I have just tested positive and found out I’m pregnant!

now I am 100% not posting this to brag or throw it in anyone’s face. My journey was really difficult emotionally and I honestly thought I’d never conceive again due to how horrendous my miscarriage was.

I wanted to post this to share hope as that was something I was really lacking over the last 3 months.

I was religiously tracking my LH with OPKs and baby danced all around my peak. I also used Conceive Plus Fertility Lube for the first time this cycle (as I noticed I wasn’t producing much ewcm last cycle) and I honestly think it helped so much!

Happy to answer any questions about my miscarriage, d&c and TTC after loss if anyone wants to ask any here :)

Wishing you all so much luck - just keep going, even when it feels hard.💗

Hi all ttc number 1. Had a mc in August followed by a chemical end of February. Still haven't ovulate or had period since. Finding it very tough. Our baby from the mc in Aug should have been born this week so finding it hard at the moment.

Waitingonarainbow · 16/04/2023 15:31

Hey hope everyone is doing good and feeling positive this month.

I am CD25 now and I've no idea where I am at in my cycle (dpo wise). I didn't use OPKs this month, just never got round to it. I had EWCM CD15 but also around CD21 I think 🤷‍♀️ pre miscarriage my cycle was irregular by quite a big margin and the two full cycles since have both been 33day cycles. I'm assuming this month will be longer if the CD20 EWCM was ovulation, in which case we definitely didn't dtd at the right time.

Crazy thing is I still feel hopeful 🙈 but I guess all we have is hope we gotta cling to it 😂 think I will be back on the OPKs next cycle but it has been nice not to worry about it for one month.

Daniki · 14/04/2023 11:06

Oh perfect thanks! 😍

tulipsunday · 14/04/2023 10:55

😂 the premom app is quite good for the easy at home ones you can photograph the sticks and it tells you when you hit your peak. I don't always trust them 100% but useful for an indication

@tulipsunday easy at home tests! Thanks, it's all coming back to me now 😂 x

tulipsunday · 14/04/2023 06:46

Which opks are you using @Daniki - easy @ home tests recommend using after 10am. Clear blue smiley face one's recommend first morning urine. And yes looking for a line as dark as control line.

Daniki · 13/04/2023 20:30

It's like well over 2 years since iv used the sticks, so start when af is over, test same time every morning and the line has to as strong or stronger than the control isn't it? X
