Yes massively @Dinosaur39 I have learnt not to have the opk chat with my partner. Totally affects him in the moment and hard to explain my cycle anyway when I don't fully atm 😂

@indieray 🥲 thank you for them words it’s reading stuff like that that gives you little
comforts to hold on to.

@Ella31 that such a strong attitude to have and extremely healthy. I’m sorry your pregnancy didn’t work out but it’s so important you are in a place where you are mentally strong and you should be so proud of that.

I managed to get some bloods done yesterday and HCG is 9 so I guess that’s my MC all completed now and the TCC journey begins.
Hospital have booked me a reassurance scan for next Friday but I feel like everything is ok so although I’m definitely going to go I don’t feel like I’m pining for it this week.

This was my first pregnancy and wasn’t even planned now I find myself in this position just desperate to get pregnant again to take some of that hurt away.

Glad to have this group to read through some of your stories and hopefully it’s a help
to everyone through their journey.

You will come back stronger from this and just make sure you take the time to heal emotionally, I didn't with my first.

Dinosaur39 · 10/03/2023 16:10

@tulipsunday I totally understand this! Where I feel like I’ve had no idea what my body is doing since the MC I just want to test as much as I can to try and make some sense of it.
I think we are allowed to if this gives us a sense of understanding & control.
I just try to do it for myself and don’t inform my partner as I think blokes don’t understand it aa much and can end up getting confused with dates/ovulating ect.

tulipsunday · 10/03/2023 12:31

Glad your appointment went well @Dinosaur39

Yes @PurplePanda9 not sure if I ovulated or not but had a small bit of midcycle bleeding.

It does make sense the whole relaxing/reconnection with your partner and trying to take your mind off TTC. Think once my cycle has regulated I will hopefully find this easier. At the moment I feel like I need to test all the time to try and work out what is going on with my body and try and give ourselves a slight bit of chance.

Hi everyone, can I join?

Had a miscarriage at the start of January at 8 weeks and had retained products for a while which are finally gone confirmed by a scan last week.

Has anyone had ovulation bleeding after their miscarriage? I think I ovulated on the 26th of February (confirmed by scan that I had recently ovulated) and had a day of very light bleeding which I’ve never had before.

12 dpo today and bfn this morning but when I conceived in November I had a bfn on 12 dpo and then didn’t test again until 16 dpo where I got a strong bfp, so not out yet.

Sending baby dust to everyone💖

How's everyone doing ? I'm so sorry to hear about your losses @Dinosaur39 & @Ella31 early or not will never leave you.. it hadn't me!
I find comfort in something I saw online ..

It’s often been said that becoming a mother means you’ll carry a bit of your baby in your heart forever. It turns out that’s kind of true, biologically speaking: Recently, singer Mylene Klass opened up to Anna Whitehouse on her Dirty Mother Pukka podcast on she found 'peace' after her four heartbreaking miscarriages – when she learned her lost baby's DNA is forever in her body, they never leave you.🥺
Apparently it's true whether or not it's amazing comfort to I didn't know before !
I'm also struggling lots of pregnant family members around right now does anyone have this? I feel bad as I'm happy for them but I get to feel these emotions and just go with it ❤️

Such a lovely message to wake up. I'm the same, I was pregnant before most of the family/friends who are now but I lost that pregnancy in August and now I'm the only one without kids or expecting one. It can be tough.

On a different note I was trying to think of the positive last night as I'm recovering from this chemical.

I spent 6 months after the first mc in an obsessive haze about conceiving again, testing lh during the day, getting upset if it hadn't rose, checking forums for reassurance, and the awful upset when my period came.

Although it was a loss, I did conceive in February and it was the first month I genuinely took a step back for myself. I did one lh test a day closer to my ovulation , reduced caffeine, I love my coffee. Loads of walks, a weekend away and I put aside all things baby until it came time to test. Also started taking a multi vitamin. Unfortunately I was very ill the week I conceived so it probably didn't help.

But the reason I'm writing this is I'm hoping it might give others some hope and reassurance. After the mc I was a mess and very emotionally exhausted. However fast forward almost 5 months in January I made a decision to put me first and ttc was only a small aspect of who I was. I had a great month, indulged myself, laughed more and definitely reconnected with my husband in ways than didn't involve ttc. And I did get pregnant. Hopefully next time will be more successful.

Hi hope you don’t mind me joining, currently in the tww at 3dpo after my chemical pregnancy last month, how is everyone? X

SMG1992 · 10/03/2023 08:08

Aww that's beautiful @indieray - it's made me a bit teary this morning!
I'm on CD 5, I came on my period the day after my static smiley, after a week of flashing so my hormones are still pretty wrecked!

I luckily don't have any close family who are pregnant but there are a few freidns and colleagues and I know how you feel. It's not about having any negative feelings for them, it just brings a lot of pain that we are always trying to deal with back to the surface.

buckingmad · 09/03/2023 17:38

@indieray im TTC number 2 although I’m 29. I had an early mc last month and am in my fertile window now.

tulipsunday · 09/03/2023 16:32

@Dinosaur39 sorry for your loss ❤️ sorry haven't really got much in the way of practical advice but hope you get a scan or some answers soon x

Dinosaur39 · 08/03/2023 13:39

Thank you for your reply.
They have told me to contact them tomorrow after I’ve done a pregnancy test and if it’s positive they are bringing me in for a scan Friday.
I’m just wondering what other people’s symptoms were as I’m getting very impatient and was getting my hopes up all week that it was all clear but then the light bleeding/discharge hasn’t stopped.

bringmearainbow · 08/03/2023 13:18

@Dinosaur39 welcome sorry for your loss I would ring the EPU and see if they will scan you. Mine was a little different as I had a d&c but I had spells of random weird bleeding then I had a period 10 weeks after and once that finished I had cramps for 5 days then I passed a big bit of tissue. Tell them you've bled but you're not sure if you've passed it as tests are still very faint

Dinosaur39 · 08/03/2023 13:12

Hi ladies, I have spent a fair amount of time reading up on your stories on this thread and hoping to be part of your TTC club soon once I hopefully get the all clear from my MMC.
I was just searching for some advice if possible. I had my natural MC 4 weeks ago and stop bleeding 5 days after but at a scan 2 weeks ago was told there was still some retained tissue and she would give me another two weeks to see if this passes naturally.
On Saturday I passed some clots/tissue which continued into Sunday with some bleeding and since then I have been having very light pink bleeding or dark stringy bleeding and sometimes nothing but it hasn’t stopped completely but nowhere near as heavy as the weekend.
My HCG tests are vvvv faint and I just wondering does this sound like possibly I passed what was left and my body is just clearing out or do we think there could be something left which is why it hasn’t stop.

Any advice would be appreciated I just want to move on!

Daniki · 08/03/2023 11:11

@Ella31 if you feel ready & ok I’d just go again. I’d say many women have had chemicals and just haven’t realised and kept trying their next cycle and have had no issues going again if you get me?

Ella31 · 08/03/2023 11:09

Daniki · 08/03/2023 10:35

@indieray yes TTC baby nimbler 2 and have had 2 Mc recently l. Turn 35 in November! Hard to know when I ovulated this cycle as it’s normally day 9/10 but my period actually lasted 10 days this cycle so who knows 😂 tested this morning but negative

@Ella31 so sorry to hear this, hope you’re ok x

Thanks everyone, I had a lot of tears over thevweek but I'm strangely ok, obviously I knew what to expect from the last one so I felt less confused, but also because it was a chemical , I didn't have the severe cramping and didn't pass the sac and embryo like last time, that was really traumatic.

Should I wait to try again or just go for it. My hcg dropped to 12 so I'm hoping that will decrease to 0 quite quickly.

tulipsunday · 08/03/2023 11:04

Is it snowing where you all are? Is in the South East today and we can't cope not used to it 😂❄️⛄️

tulipsunday · 08/03/2023 11:02

@TheBirdintheCave it is like being in a fog isn't it! Hope you get some clarity soon.

@bringmearainbow 😂 well good to check! Hopefully the bfp is round the corner for you.

I have had two miscarriages within 6 months so cycle not really had a chance to regulate does make it hard to know what to expect.

Bubblesandballoons · 08/03/2023 10:39

@indieray I’m 36 and ttc#2. Had 4 early miscarriage so far.
@Ella31 sorry to read that. Hope you are looking after yourself 💛
@tulipsunday af has just finished so it’s dtd time. The nice relaxed part of the cycle lol. Sorry you’re in limbo, hope your body lets you know soon what it’s doing xx

bringmearainbow · 08/03/2023 10:13

@tulipsunday I'm 7/8dpo did a e@h this morning and of course bfn 😂 how odd how long are your cycles normally?

TheBirdintheCave · 08/03/2023 08:27

@tulipsunday Just lost in the fog here. CD27 and no idea if I've even ovulated yet so no clue when to expect AF.

tulipsunday · 08/03/2023 08:18

@indieray yep to trying to conceive number 2. Turn 35 this year.

How is everyone doing? Going crazy here. Cd30 not even a hint of a line on FRER but no AF. Last cycle 23 days. Going to be so gutted if AF comes now that this cycle has dragged. Felt dizzy yesterday morning so thought I might get a bfp today but maybe my hormones are just messed up. 😬

TheBirdintheCave · 08/03/2023 07:50

@indieray Yes and yes.
