Looking good @hopeandpray1988

12dpo now and AF is starting. Mucous brown/dark discharge this eve plus periody back ache. Onto the next cycle

Seasidegirll · 15/03/2023 15:25

@hopeandpray1988 oh they look good!! 😍

winterbabyrose · 15/03/2023 15:09

Hope I can join if possible. 13dpo today, and had a BFN yesterday on a cheapy test. Looking unlikely this month but holding out hope! AF is due to arrive on Friday. Had major PMS symptoms yesterday, exhaustion, headache, backache, upset stomach etc. But nothing today! So strange. Normally I get that all the day before AF comes first thing the next morning, but nothing so far yet.

Hoping to get a BFP either this month or next month, before taking a break on TTC for a few months to avoid a clash of close birthdays with my DD!

NatGee · 15/03/2023 14:58

@hopeandpray1988 look like positives to me :) i hope you are thrilled, congratulations !

Been quiet on here as I was struggling with the whole ttc if I'm honest. Went onto the December thread as I'd had pink cm on Monday at 9/10dpo as I usually do before af but tested this morning and got these... just done the bottom easy at home and it's still there!?

@uop21 That’s interesting - fingers crossed this could be a sign of something for you!!

My BBT is getting steadily higher and I felt a tiny bit nauseous/sensitive to smell this morning so inevitably I’m starting to get a bit hopefully that I could be pregnant because the smell thing was the main symptom I had when I was pregnant before. It could be a completely coincidence though, or even a figment of my imagination because I so want the signs to be there…

Really good news about your BBT increasing, hopefully it continues and it's all positives signs. I've got a busy week to keep my mind off testing before Sunday. Let me know how you're doing and I'm always here if you need a chat ❤️

@uop21 Mine is due on 20th (assuming I have a more normal cycle this time not another weird short one).

Mother’s Day coming up has crossed my mind as well… I’m slightly dreading my period will arrive that day and it will make me feel even worse about the miscarriage 😢 It would be amazing for you though if your period was late on that day and then you found out you were pregnant!!

I really hope your period doesn't come on the 20th. You deserve to have your rainbow baby. How have you been feeling? The last few nights I've woken up in the middle of the night sweating which is unusual for me. I can't stop eating either 😂

@uop21 That’s so good that your husband is really supportive. Mine has been amazing too, even when I’m having random spirals of anxiety he’s always there for me. Obviously he doesn’t have to experience the physical stress I do, but he does really in terms of trying to understand what I’m going through.

I hadn’t told anyone we were TTC originally, but I have now told some people about the miscarriage (and I have found it a relief to talk about it), so they’re now aware that we’re TTC.

In terms of age, I do sometimes have moments of panic about whether I could have left it too late, especially given that I’ve know for a couple of years that I have PCOS. But then I remind myself that I’m still several years away from 35, and even after 35 it is still completely possible to have a baby many years after that. And also, in terms of life stability, job, relationship etc, I wouldn’t have been in a position to TTC much earlier than we did.

I’m planning to test once my period’s late. Early tests are so tempting, but they’re expensive and on the month I did become pregnant I did one and it didn’t pick it up.

I'm so glad you have a good support network around you especially after your miscarriage.

When is AF due for you? Mine is due on the 19th which is Mother's Day so hopefully it doesn't come, it feels so far away and I would love to know I'm pregnant on this day, it would make this journey so special.

The disappointment of seeing a negative test is heartbreaking, I think that's why I wait until AF arrives now because at least I haven't gone through an extra emotion of feeling disappointed with seeing a negative test. Fingers crossed this is our month.

Mummyme87 · 13/03/2023 06:59

9dpo and I’ve tested with a cheapie even though I know it’s super early. If I squint hard I can see a vvv faint line. So BFN for now

ttcat37 · 12/03/2023 21:20

Hi ladies. I’m 12dpo with vv faint lines. Had chemicals Dec and Jan so hoping this one sticks 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 due on any time between Weds - Saturday.

Mumofone2 · 12/03/2023 20:54

9dpo today and the symptom spotting is real, I'm not sure if they're real symptoms or my imagination! This tww is a killer!

@uop21 Thank you - the miscarriage has been a really upsetting experience. I had only known I was pregnant for a week when it happened, so it was such a whirlwind of emotions in a short space of time and it’s taking me a while to come to terms with it.

Sorry you went through that with the fibroids. Hopefully now they are gone that will increase your chances. I’ve only been trying for 5 months or so, so I can’t imagine how it must feel to have had such a long journey.

Maybe this will be the month for us both! I go up and down in terms of optimism to be honest. Some days I feel really hopeful because I know I’ve tried on the day of ovulation itself plus several times in the 5 days before, but other times I remember what happened with the miscarriage and the fact my cycle has been really random recently (my last cycle was only 24 days which is unusually short for me), and I feel like will it ever happen?

Are you planning to test early or do you tend to wait until after your period is due?

I'm very similar to you, my emotions are very high and low throughout my cycle, I feel happy I've DTD every other day and then when I get my period I have a meltdown to my husband who is so so supportive, I couldn't go through this journey going through all these different range of emotions without him by my side because although he's not physically going through it, he is emotionally going through the journey with me so he has been my rock. We haven't told anyone we are trying so it is a bit of a lonely journey to be going through but at the same time it's nice to have something between us only.

No I tend to wait until I'm late on AF, there has been a few occasions where I have done a pregnancy test because I was late on by a few days but on the day of doing those test AF two idk turn up so I said to my husband the next time my period is late I'm going to wait a week before testing because it would be unusual for me to be late any more than 3/4 days.

Fingers crossed you'll get your rainbow positive soon 🌈 it will happen when you least expect it, I truly believe that which is part of the reason why I've stop tracking. How do you feel about being 32 and TTC? Do you feel like your running out of time with age or are you relaxed about it? Would love to know your thoughts on this as I feel worried but at the same time I know loads of women who conceive in their mid 30s with healthy pregnancies and then I relax a bit but can't help but have that thought in the back of my mind.

Fairylight102 · 11/03/2023 18:33

@uop21 That’s totally understandable, all the tracking is extremely stressful.

I had a miscarriage in December and my cycle has been unpredictable since then, and I don’t seem to have much luck with OPKs, and I also have PCOS, so it’s not straightforward for me to know when ovulation is on its way.

I do track BBT though, so the approach I’ve been taking is to try every other day from the end of my period until I have enough raised temperatures to confirm ovulation has taken place.

I’ve had a little bit of cramping today, but I’m conscious how easy it is to read into these things and get my hopes up unnecessarily.

How long have you been TTC? I’m 32, no children yet, and started TTC in October.

I'm so sorry you had to go through a miscarriage. How did you feel? I could never get on with BBT as I don't have a routine so it was really difficult for me to track. I did LH test and did amazing with knowing when I ovulated and it also helped me find out how long my cycles were but at the same time I feel like in my case it will happen when it happens or if we're lucky.

I'm exactly the same, I'm 32 with no children. I came off contraception 2 years ago so we've been trying since then but seriously trying for the last year. I was very fortunate enough to be referred to the fertility clinic before 1 year because I experienced painful periods since coming off my contraception (I was on the depo injection so it completely stopped my periods) and they found some large fibroids which were removed.

DTD every other day is a good idea especially if you cannot pinpoint your ovulation, that's what we do. Sperm can live for 5 days so hopefully one of those will meet with your egg.

I've had no symptoms, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. I've read on some of these thread some women experience symptoms and are pregnant and other have no symptoms which is how they knew they were pregnant. It's all a blur and I hope everyday we will get our blessing.

How do you feel on this cycle? Do you feel optimistic that you've done what you can to hopefully conceive this month?

I’m 5DPO, anyone else at a similar stage? (Would be a last week of November due date)

Yes I'm 5dpo too. I stopped tracking because it wasn't doing any good for my mental health but when I was tracking I learnt a lot about my cycle and I'm fairly regular with ovulation and when af arrives. How are you feeling? Did you do any LH or BBT testing?

Mummyme87 · 11/03/2023 15:07

Sorry for the bfns guys. It’s so so heartbreaking. 11 and 10dpo is early though. You’re not out until af shows.

I’m 7dpo, I’ve done progesterone bloods today at work but sent off as routine so probably won’t get the results gahhh.

Natty83 · 11/03/2023 13:07

Congrats @Mrsrobinsonx 🥰

I'm out for November, fingers crossed I don't see any of you (those still waiting) over on the December thread. Baby Dust to all 💐

lottieb92 · 11/03/2023 11:42

@Seasidegirll hey sweetie sorry about the BFN

still time as they say! 💐🤞🏻

mine always equally a negative … I swear I saw a mark on the one I’d left from yesterday, but threw it away as was highly likely an evap so didn’t fancy the torture today. So 10DPO BFN for me.

I put in my big girl pants and filled in a pre op questionnaire for a Laparoscopy. I put it off for 2 weeks as I wasn’t keen to have it. But the fertility specialist said sometimes there is something inside that is causing the issue.
So far I have normal LH, FSH, testosterone, progesterone, ovulation shown with bloods … uterus lining normal .. steady periods. ALL fine - so my secondary infertility is likely my largely stuffed PCO ovaries 🤣🤣 not releasing a good enough egg!

Im proud I did it .. it is still a 6 months wait list, but if I have to go under to figure out the issue. I am now more mentally prepared. I will do everything in my power now to grow strong eggs by myself ☺️
