@MilkyAndFluffy testing yes but for ovulation still..
I am at my fertile period now and have been testing since Cd10. Its now CD18. I was just using easy@home tests but my LH levels aren't rising beyond 0.09 - 0.11. However I am not in my predicted fertile period, so for the last 3 days I have done the strip and the CB ovulation. For the last 2 days the CB was the low fertile circle, whereas today it was a flashing smiley! 😊 however the strip still said 0.12 and I checked the CB test window and it was 0.49! I think the easy@home strips I have are faulty!! Lucky I did both! Lol xxx

  • now in my fertile period! (Damn typos) xxx

big message alert……. BRB while I sob at all these gorgeous messages of support - thank you so much everyone. 😘I’ll be forever grateful to have this forum and so much support from such lush people, it really is my saving grace, especially in times like this. I don’t have anyone in the ‘real world’ I can or want to talk to about this journey and them understand my pain. So it really is just everything that we all have a place to chat through. Most of my friends fell very quickly and easily so I honestly had no idea it could be this crazy to conceive

my heart goes out to anyone who have been at this for years, and still going strong. I appreciate more than ever the pain of it. I’ve never ever been bitter about pregnancy announcements etc but I honestly feel myself green eyed monster everytime I see something baby related

@Maxime34 ahhh that’s so good to know that one of the times you managed to conceive was when you did little DTD. It does just make you wonder like how does that happen and then not when you are focused on it?! It must have something to do with the stress we put on our bodies while constantly thinking about it - but how can we not! Thank you for sharing that so I know I am still potentially in for a chance this month 🤗 totally agree whoever made these tests are living their best lives arent they!!! Probably the worst thing created for us in terms of constantly having it on our minds!!! That’s lush you are testing while away and I get not wanting to over test, it’s the perfect distraction being on holiday. I have everything crossed for you lovely 🥰 thank you soooo bloody much for your support yet again - it means everything ❤️

@Tophy124 thank you lovely lady💞hahaha, that was a good idea to avoid anything pregnancy related!! Oh chocolate - I’m about to go get some to distract myself and try cheer myself up too!! Appreciate your support so much! 🥰

@Superstorefan123 thank you my lovely. I can’t believe how many people have said they know the feeling, I’m sad you guys have felt like it but happy that I’m not alone it it. I just have everything crossed for us all 🙏appreciate the lovely message back to my meltdown!

@Floralsandsmiles What a gorgeous message - you tipped me over the edge crying! 🙈thank you so much for such kind words. You were so right, letting it out on here has helped me. A problem shared is truly halved! I’ve taken your advice and had a self care evening/day, I’ve done my nails, a face mask and dyed my roots so feeling a lot better and put together today. Sending you so much love too - thank you 😚

appreciate everyone's love and support more than you can know ❤I have everything crossed for so many BFP’s on here this month. Congratulations to those who already have them 😍

sending virtual hugs to everybody x x x x x x x

@MilkyAndFluffy 🥰😘💞

Hi all... Feeling my usual pre-period feelings today so feeling a bit meh and suspect I'm out for this cycle. Should know for definite within 48hrs so at least I'll know then!

Echoing what others have said, deffo feel free to talk about however you're feeling. We're all on this crazy journey together and her to celebrate the ups and commiserate on the downs. Hugs to all xx

ThomasinaLivesHere · 18/02/2023 14:43

Hi all! This will be our second attempt. I think I was overly optimistic on our first month. Ovulation is apparently next Friday. So fingers crossed🤞

AlleycatMarie · 18/02/2023 13:28

@Tophy124 i caved and used a frer - BFN!! But still a flashing smiley today!!

Mrsrobinsonx · 18/02/2023 13:12

Hey ladies,
I am currently ttc baby number 3! On cycle #5 now.
Had 2 chemical pregnancies along the way and just picked myself back up from the last one, still looking forward to trying again and hoping we get our healthy baby soon.
Currently cd10 so will start opk’s soon, hope everyone is doing well!

Floralsandsmiles · 18/02/2023 10:50

@MilkyAndFluffy please please please talk to us when you need to. Share exactly your thoughts as it could be the release you need, it could help you move past the thoughts and it could help someone else express their deepest thoughts too. We are a tribe, we are here for you. It's the hardest thing ever and sometimes if you are in a dark place, it's hard to think how to move past this, but we have got you. Talk to us! Sending you ample hugs, positive thoughts and above all love ❤️ be kind to yourself and have a self care day. Thinking of you xxxx

seeyouinanotherlifewhenwearebothcats · 18/02/2023 09:38

@AlleycatMarie did you test this morning? I have FINALLY got a static smiley this morning. CD 19. Think I did ovulate this late a few cycles ago so who knows what’s going on but I don’t even know if I trust the opks anymore 😆

Maxime34 · 18/02/2023 09:16

@MilkyAndFluffy oh my gosh never feel like you can't say how you really feel on here, it's what these forums are for after all. Those of us who have been trying for a long time and going through ups and downs can all relate so so much to this feeling too. I think I mentioned this before but one of the times we got pregnant last year it was at the start when I was being very casual with it, we only dtd twice that month and I had no idea when my peak was or anything and ended up with a BFP. Some months or dtd most days ended up with nothing so you really really don't know what's going to work. Which is why this is the most tedious frustrating thing in the whole world. Honestly the makers of these tests are the ones truly winning in all of this. I really hope you feel better soon! We'll be away when I test so I'll be stashing a few with me but wont go crazy as I don't want it to ruin my holiday by over testing so what will be will be! Not focusing on symptoms as they are just the progesterone I take at this stage which is a bit of torture in itself! Keeping everything crossed for you for your testing early next week xxx

Superstorefan123 · 18/02/2023 08:13

@MilkyAndFluffy a second person saying absolutely share the negatives because chances are many of us feel the same ❤️ Totally resonate with feeling disappointed before you even test - after months of disappointing it’s hard to imagine it being any different! Sending you all the love for this month

Tophy124 · 18/02/2023 00:46

@AlleycatMarie sorry!! Haha. I’m just egging you on to test. But do keep me updated and wishing the best for you!! Maybe if you’re not pregnant you’re one of the lucky ones who ovulates twice in a cycle?

@MilkyAndFluffy Dont feel like you can’t share the negatives here too. I’m feeling really aggy and down this weekend and avoiding any social media where I may see BFPs of people I know. Chocolate and watching shows about zombies have helped 😅 I don’t worry someone will sneak in a surprise pregnancy lol! And if they did I’d feel bad for the character

MilkyAndFluffy · 18/02/2023 00:19

@Maxime34 hey lovely, sorry for my later reply, I’ve been really really struggling the last couple of days. This is the first month I’ve found myself feeling that twinge of disappointment on the lead up to testing. I don’t know why I can literally remember and feel the disappointment to seeing that negative test before it’s even happened. It’s really got me this month not gonna lie wow. I didn’t want to drag anyone down my black hole so thought it was best I waited till I felt abit better. I also think this is the first month I’m very convinced it’s not my month, I’m not sure why. I’m devastated already just feeling like I’m waiting for AF to start so we can do it all over again. I am the exact same as you, was super chill over the fertile period and we only got down & dirty 3 times so I feel like I’ve not given myself a good chance. I just can’t figure out which days are best to DTD on argh!!! Massively regret not ovulation testing too because I have no idea when my surge happened so I will not be doing that again!! The chill life is NOT for me. I’m assuming I ovulated a similar time to the last few months and if that’s so, I’ll be around 7dpo today I think. I’ll be lucky if I make it to Tuesday/Wednesday without testing but that’s my plan

i know what you mean about wondering how long to go for after the surge, can’t someone just tell us which days are best - argh!! Testing next weekend for you, is that while you are away? Will you stash a bunch of FRER’s in your bag? Have you been noticing or feeling any symptoms?? I know it’s hard for you because if the meds you take. I’m so glad you have your trip to focus on so hopefully next week fly’s by for you as you get prepped and packed etc. it totally does just show it’s a total rollercoaster and pot luck doesn’t it!! You do well getting round to DTD as much as you do with another little one to entertain! I have absolutely everything crossed this is your lucky month and you’ll have a gorgeous trip with a cheeky BFP 😍so sorry for my Debbie downer start to the reply, just need to be honest and it’s nice to tell someone how I’ve been feeling as I’ve been bottling it up!

AlleycatMarie · 17/02/2023 22:25

@Tophy124 I’m terrible for testing early at the best of times! Now wondering if it’s worth taking a test. Maybe I’ll POAS first thing tomorrow, even if it’s just to rule it out!

Tophy124 · 17/02/2023 22:20

@AlleycatMarie so not trying to build false hope but my friend that was pregnant tested pregnant really early! I was very confused by it lol, but she was pregnant!

AlleycatMarie · 17/02/2023 22:10

@Tophy124 i saw your comment and I’m very intrigued!! I don’t think I can be as even if I missed my ovulation and it was earlier than usual, it would still be too early to test. At the same time though, it has given me some hope!!!

Tophy124 · 17/02/2023 21:54

@AlleycatMarie have you done a pregnancy test? Not sure if you saw my comment before, but a very close friend kept getting smiley faces and googled it and it mentioned it could be pregnancy and she was pregnant!

AlleycatMarie · 17/02/2023 21:46

@TunnocksTCake @Tophy124 thanks for the advice ladies. I’ll test on the original one tomorrow and see if I get another smiley. This is only the second month of using the clear blue and last month it was textbook (3 days flashing the static) that I expected the same this month! Hope you’re both doing okay

TunnocksTCake · 17/02/2023 21:08

@AlleycatMarie the first one on a new holder is always empty circle, it's setting the baseline so now that holder is probably going to think your current high oestrogen state is 'normal', so may well be off 😬 it would still pick up an LH surge but not oestrogen unless it gets higher still. Hope that makes sense?!
I think there's a certain amount of flashing smileys after which they say you can stop testing - something like 9? Says it in the booklet.

@SaltedChoco sorry your scan was horrid, as you say keep the ultimate aim in mind. I've had so many of those now they barely bother me, but I remember the first was awful 💕

TinyPuds · 17/02/2023 21:06

@Maxime34 I haven’t tested today, I spent an absolute fortune on tests in October!! So I’m pacing myself this time haha 🙈thanks for asking - I’m going to test tomorrow though haha.

@LuckyC27 ah I’m sorry to hear about your mmc! It’s a horrible process isn’t it - glad to see the back of it 😅I didn’t have any symptoms at all for the whole 8 weeks when I was pregnant in November which was a giveaway to me that something wasn’t right. The pregnancy test faded a bit too so I just stopped testing because I was getting sick of overthinking everything and testing loads.

My boobs felt like they were exploding when I was about 4-5 weeks pregnant with my daughter and I suddenly developed narcolepsy haha (not good for work!!). I’m already starting to feel really tired and getting the boob tingles! I wish I had your willpower to wait until my period is due 😂still not really going to accept mines a true positive until next weekend (but I will test in between anyway haha 👹). Fingers crossed you get your rainbow this cycle!

Tophy124 · 17/02/2023 20:26

@AlleycatMarie empty circle means you’re LH surge has happened! Empty circle is back to baseline so you’d get empty circles before and after your LH surge. Some women have two LH surges a month too! It’s rarer but not unheard of

AlleycatMarie · 17/02/2023 18:50

@SaltedChoco I’ve had two internal ultrasounds now; it’s not the nicest thing but just try to focus on your goal!

So, now I’ve really lost it and just tested with my existing clear blue and also a new one. Still flashing, but empty circle on the new one?!
