TTC November baby

@TinyPuds wow the lines look great! Fingers crossed this one sticks for you! so it was a normal pregnancy strip test and a faint line we have been out all day so I’ll have to pick up some more tomorrow. Didn’t want to do any early testing this time but obviously couldn’t stick to it 🙈

My only concern is with my son I don’t remember sore boobs/nipples being a symptom but that was 3 years ago and I breastfed for nearly 2 years so maybe they are just super sensitive now. My mmc I had exactly the same super sore boobs and tiredness but no other symptoms so really hoping if it’s a definite positive it sticks. It’s like you go through all the stress of trying to get pregnant then once you are the stress moves onto whether it will stick especially once you have had a mc.

@Fairylight102 sorry to hear you got your AF all the luck for end of November. My cycle was 25 days before mmc and definitely isn’t that now which doesn’t help with all the planning etc.

Just catching up on chat over the past few days - the loveliest bunch of girls!! So much support ❤️ I was in a really dark place in Dec/Jan and exactly the same I just didn’t have anybody to talk to about this stuff and bottling it up made things so much worse. Glad you gals are all here 💜 would’ve helped me if I had a group like you to talk to! I had a big chat with my husband about it 3 weeks ago and it was a game changer. Felt SO much better!

@LuckyC27 exciting! Did you use a normal pregnancy test or an early detection one?

I tested again yesterday… and today 😂 yesterday my line was darker than Thursdays 🤩 and todays was a bit darker than yesterday. I’m roughly 10dpo today and it’s looking very similar to how it progressed at the same time in my cycle with my daughter (had an early positive with her - think I had a due stealer before my period was even due).

With my pregnancy in October that ended in miscarriage the lines took a while to progress, and were really thin which didn’t sit right with me (also I had zero symptoms for the whole 8 weeks, and an ongoing tummy ache 😣). Just had a gut feeling the whole time something wasn’t right, I never felt excited about it. Strange eh.

I got my period last night (weirdly short 24 day cycle - messed up by MC in December), so I’m out for an early November baby but could potentially still be in for an end of November due date with my new cycle.

It helps so much to be able to post on these forums. Sending best wishes to all xx

Well I’m out, got the game over symbol on the test today. So no ovulation for me this month (which has stupidly really upset me, and I’m terrified it’s because of my meds). Seeing my gynae on Thurs for the ultrasound and blood test results.

@AlleycatMarie still have fingers crossed for your static. Next month I’m going to use the cheaper ones that just show you a static when you ovulate as all the flashing have driven me mad.

Ended up taking a urine strip test (as it’s all I had in house!) despite telling myself I would wait until AF on Tuesday I have tested this morning and very faint second line! Will test again on Tuesday. Hoping it sticks x

@TunnocksTCake thank you! I must confess some mornings were off. I had norovirus last week weekend and didn’t temp at all one morning so unless that’s knocked it all out?

@MilkyAndFluffy no my predicted was starting as of today and it was today! which is good! But was concerned as the LH wasn't rising on the strips.. so did the CB and it was a flashing one as opposed to yesterday when it was the empty circle. So think the strips are dud..
Will keep testing twice if not 3 times from tomorrow and hopefully I will get my static 😊😊 xxx

@AussieMum888 I think if you use OPKs you can stop a day or so after the peak? When I temped properly with my first I stopped after I saw the sustained rise but went back to every other day after O day. The chances are something like 30% day before O and O day then drops to 12% day after O. I personally tend to stop after ovulation but we still dtd every 3rd day probably...? It's supposed to be good for implantation I think.

@seeyouinanotherlifewhenwearebothcats feel free to post your chart if you want some input? How frustrating, I'm sure you are but are you def temping at the same time every day and before you move in the morning? I find mine is way off if I even roll around in bed, which is mainly why I've failed to do it this time round, I don't remember in time!

@SaltedChoco I’m sorry you got another flashing; I’m right there with you. I feel as if I’m too invested to stop now so will just keep testing until AF shows up.
@Tophy124 im sorry you had such a tough few months. I don’t know if not knowing or knowing too much about our cycle is helpful?! How do you feel about not being able to try this cycle? I think I’d feel gutted yet relieved at the same time to have a break (been trying for over 2 years).
@seeyouinanotherlifewhenwearebothcats do you think it’s possible you released two eggs this month and that’s why the two trackers were off? We were DTD every other day at the start of the flashing smileys, but think husband is too exhausted now to continue trying!

@AlleycatMarie thank you. So sorry you got bfn. It is so frustrating. Yeah DTD today. But if I ov’d today I think it’s maybe too late? Last attempt was 3 days ago? But my fertility friend app said they couldn’t reliably predict my ov this month. The temps don’t seem to tally with the opk. Don’t know what’s going on tbh. But I think AF will be due around 3rd March maybe.

@AussieMum888 this cycle we’ve been trying to dtd every other day. But like you say we’re exhausted. don’t think we’ll carry on after ov now 😂

Hi ladies, I've been following everyone's journey! Couldn't agree more it's so important to share the bad times as well as the good. This journey is filled with emotion, stress and anxiety! I'm a spotter and often spot up to a week pre period which immediately makes me sad and feel like I'm out every month. This month though I've spotted since ovulation day. I wish I knew why. Had CD21 bloods last month and all normal. Anyone in the same boat? Also (sorry if it's been asked) but how often are people DTD? Do you keep at it post ovulation....it's soooo tiring haha!! X

@AlleycatMarie I went through a few really rough months of believing my app was accurate and would get excited about my ‘missed periods’ till I realised I wasn’t tracking quite right and that ovulation can fluctuate by a few days each month. I was so peeved off!! My period actually usually runs like clockwork. I’m cd1 now and can’t try this month so extra grouchy!

I hope you get a static soon!! I used clear blue this month but got the wrong pack and they only showed the 2 days of peaks which was helpful!

@behappy1736 it’s hard to tell. The tests look really flooded. How are you testing these? Pee in a pot, dip for 10seconds max?

Thanks @SaltedChoco. I’m sure you are so fed up. It’s so frustrating. I’ve lost all understanding of my cycles now. Some months are just haywire?! I had a mmc in May last year and doc said after any delivery periods change but even so, it’s very annoying

@Floralsandsmiles oh well done you for deciding to do both types - so your predicted fertile window was earlier than your actual fertile window? At least you can keep a note of the dates so you expect it more in future months (hopefully that won’t be needed and you’ll get a BFP following this cycle)!! I’ve heard a bunch of people say the CB are more accurate because you can also see it dip back down after you’ve ovulated so they sound like good ones to stick to!!
