Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

@LittleMiss2023 I’m not sure what happened but the frers after that came out stark negative. I still have the same symptoms (headaches, backache, cramps, sore nipples) and no period. Period is due tomorrow. I checked my cervix - usually it is very low and open right before my period, but it’s still very high up and very hard and closed. No spotting. Nothing, I’m very confused

I bought a 6 days early clear blue to try a diff brand and that was negative too. So idk why or how a pink line came up in the frer. Keep feeling like AF is coming but nothing there

@Mushroo I’m only 9dpo so I’m completely shocked to have got a positive test! It was only the cramps early this morning that made me decide to test on the off chance

Hi ladies,

after feeling those cramps that felt like AF yesterday I decided to test just in case, fully expecting it to be negative…. I am in complete and utter shock…I don’t know how to stay calm as I wanted to surprise my partner on Valentine’s Day!!! I don’t even know what to do next!! 😆😆😆

I’m on day 30 of a normal 28 day cycle no sign and negative tests this morn! Dtd 29th?

I think I'm also out. 12dpo and AF has arrived. There's a small part of me still wondering (hoping) if it could just be a very heavy implantation bleed so I'll test tomorrow morning, but really not looking likely. Really fucking gutted tbh. This next month is gonna be dtd every other day for the whole month I think, so at least I have that to look forward to and to drag me out of my gloom.

Quick check in.

13DPO and negative in FRER, evap again on CB and negative on IC.

I'm writing this cycle off as I'm 99% sure I'd know by now.

Roll on summer when we will look to TTC again.

I’m 8dpo now. Had back ache since 6dpo and this morning I had the same awful nightmare twice. Can’t remember what AF symptoms usually are as it’s been 18 months since I had one, which is super unhelpful. I haven’t had nightmares for years though.

It’s super reassuring that so many of us are in the same boat, really helps to remind me that it’s normal for it not to happen straightaway.

Assuming AF arrives soon, I’m vowing now no early testing next month!

So it's another BFN for me this morning. AF due either Saturday or Sunday so not too long to wait now :).
Kinda almost certain I'm out because I'm following my usual monthly mood pattern (happily out of the grump face period 🙈🤣) so yeah roll on next month and baby dust to all those still in the game! 🤞🙂

I’m in the exact same boat as you! No spotting as yet but cramping in my stomach on and off the last few days.

Negative on 2 FRER’s and the strips still, saving the clear blues for even a faint line on a strip but beginning to think at 11dpo I could be out. Suppose we’ll know for sure by Monday!

@SnookyPook ahhhh no way! That’s amazing! AF is due in 6 days so those pains which felt identical really confused me, especially as there was no bleeding and still no blood this morning! I’m usually quite regular so I was convinced I was coming on 🤣 I’m still getting the pains ever so slightly and wondering how long implantation pain can last if that’s what it is. I was going to take an early detection test tonight but I’m too nervous 🙈

Im now super impatient for AF to get here even though I’m not even due until Monday! Time is so so slow

@Summer022 hi! When I was pregnant with my first I got my 'usual' pre-period cramps around 12dpo and got really disappointed as was absolutely convinced AF was on the way. Then she didn't appear and I tested at 15dpo and got my BFP. So it wasn't as early as you but you may have implanted earlier than I did. Just to share that AF pains was definitely a sign for me although not really a helpful one as the timing etc just made me convinced I wasn't pregnant 🤷🏼‍♀️😆 Good luck!

Hi ladies,

I have just been woken up at 3am by cramps that feel like AF is coming at only 9dpo. I have never had this so early in my cycle before. I normally get a dull ache around my tummy and slightly into my right leg with AF and it feels exactly the same as that. Easing off slightly now but still there. I have been to the loo but there’s no blood at all yet so I don’t know what’s going on! I am really hoping it’s not AF as we really did everything right this month! Has anyone experienced this?

@LittleMiss2023 I got my brown streaked discharge tonight so AF is definitely on her way I think. My hopeful side is still trying to say it could be implantation but I honestly think I'm ready for AF to show up and get it over with.

Yep same as me!! Not meant to be this month! But agree, would like her to fully show up so I can move on rather than wonder.

I’ve started lightly bleeding. Holding on to the tiniest hope it may be implantation, but I’m pretty sure it’s AF. Sad but it’s ok - only our first month and I have only come off the pill 5 weeks ago!

We are not going to try the next cycle, but potentially again end of March, depending on dates! Will give me a month to track my cycle and work out ovulation symptoms!

I love how busy this thread has gotten! Cannot wait to see more BFP’s now we are all on similar cycle days! 😁

@GingerJanee I didn't get implantation bleeding with my first, just what I thought were my usual 'pre-period' cramps for a couple of days.

@Caths456 they look like the ones I use. I know mine specifically say they are invalid if oversaturated. So frustrating isn't it but I'd try again in the morning I think.

@Hayley12337 no idea about your chart I'm afraid but wanted to say hi and welcome!

@Caths456 what brand of tests are those? My boots ones look like that and it turns out you're only meant to hold them in urine for 3sec instead of the usual 5...
