Hi all I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today. This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps. Anyone else in the same boat?

Sorry to those who are out this month. I'm still full on tww - it seems to be going on forever! 6dpo at mo...

I've also been wondering about whether to hold off next month in case of Christmas (if not successful this cycle!) - we have soooo many December birthdays in my family, including mine! However I don't really want to waste a month and kind of think what will be will be... Also, March clearly has some good luck for our family, why fight it?! 😆

@LittleMiss2023 I've been taking vitamin d this cycle which I think has helped me loads, so will continue with that. But I also bought soy isoflavones (for making ovulation come sooner) I didn’t get a chance to use it last cycle but will in the new cycle! I have irregular periods that can go on for ages and not sure if I always ovulate so that hopefully will help!

i don’t think I’ll do opk again. It puts so much pressure and makes it less fun. I actually had sex less with my partner doing that last month, usually we are every few days anyway.

i used preseed this cycle but not in the ovulation window bc I forgot about it lol so I’ll try use that generally throughout.

oh and absolutely not testing early again 😂 and defo not with FRER after 2 false positives. Put me right off

So I think I will use the OPK’s this month but for the opposite reason - to know when not to dtd. 😂 Think I’ve mentioned but we have a month holiday all of April, so the plan was ideally not to be 6-12 weeks pregnant while there, as I read that is when majority of people experience the worst morning sickness. So our plan is to hold off for the Feb window, and then try in the March window as if we were to fall then, I would be 6 weeks on the last few days of the trip which would be dealable. And if not March window, April would be fine to say we then conceived while on our big holiday😀

if my maths is correct, falling in Feb window would be a Nov baby? I am also cautious of a Xmas baby - more for future birthday parties/being so close to Xmas. My sibling is a few days before Xmas and poor thing always got combined presents/no one around for their party! But can’t win them all im afraid! What will be, will be!

Is anyone going to do anything differently this month? BD more or less? Vitamins? OPKs? Etc?

AF has arrived (I think... 2 days early 🫠) during a 15 hour work day... brill! Spotting is red yes? Not brown like the beginning of a period?

AF has arrived, so that’s me out. Will have a curry and a drink tonight to cheer myself up. Februarys fertile window can’t come soon enough

Me too! But I’m breastfeeding and had my first period on January 12th, so I’ve no idea of length etc.

Anyone see the faintest line ever 🥶🥶 period is late by a day. Nausea and cramps for the last 4 days no period?

@Peachyplumm hold on until AF is here. Very frustrating after the positive.

how is everyone else holding up ladies ? I am 8DPO . Now no more of the nausea I had a few days ago but today I am so bloated and keep having a sore cramp/twinge on my right side of my uterus ? Also feel a little bit sick on and off but just waves then it’s quickly gone again.

I haven’t charted my BBT at all this cycle but this morning I decided to take my temp (14dpo and af due today). I know what my temp always ranges in my luteal phase and so I saw immediately it is super low like below my usual cover line. I think AF is on her way then. Very sad :(

that must mean the two frer tests I took that showed a faint line were duds

@Ks2023 This has happened me before! I thinks it’s take the few minutes for the lines to settle ☹️ Though you could wait to tomorrow and test again and see is if there’s one or two?

@Mushroo oh that’s a perfect idea! I just checked to see when my April and May dates are because I’m away for both of them and Flo and Premom are giving me different dates - even my apps are as confused as me now 🤣 I did notice though flo is recommending a pregnancy test in 6 days so 3 days after AF due. That’s her first time I’ve seen that!

Ok I think I’m going crazy. Just did the test first response one. While it’s been loading I see first line pop out staring away the pregame by line very clear pink one but by the time I washed my hands I swear it’s vanished completely and only second one control line left? I know I’m testing early and gonna try again tomorrow but I’m not imagining things that’s so strange

Oh this is totally my mindset too!

I’ve never gotten a positive line and I have the infertile/never getting a positive line thoughts regularly! However I am literally 3 months ttc which is minimal compared to others so I need to check myself into reality I think.

Still very undecided this month whether to buy another pack of OPK and just use them like this month or maybe get a basal thermometer. Another thought is to wing it and see how it goes! So many decisions.

This month I tracked all month, ovulated around the 29th per OPK strips and baby danced everyday for about 2 weeks so I really thought this was the month. I’m saying this as if AF has came which it hasn’t and I know you’re in the game still until you’re not but it’s all very mentally draining. I am a yap today 😂 just love a wee complain!

Completely get it! It feels like if it didn’t work this month, when will it?!

I do BBT but might get OPKs so at least it might satisfy my need to pee on something 😂

Onwards and upwards I guess! I’ve booked a holiday for my April ovulation dates in case that magically helps!

Oh and my other completely insane fear today is that testing strips don’t work me.

Im basing this on never having had a positive pregnancy test (having never tried before) and never having had a positive covid test.

I know they are completely different and it’s an insane thought, but this thread is for oversharing right? 🙈

12dpo and BFN on strips still. Think I’ve finally resigned myself to this isn’t the month, saving my last clear blue for 15 dpo if AF doesn’t arrive otherwise it’s coming with me to the next cycle.

Feeling very deflated this month my friend FaceTimed from Australia last night to announce her surprise pregnancy which I screamed the house down about with excitement but this morning I’m feeling a bit teary. Really hope this doesn’t make me a bad person I’m delighted for her but just feeling sorry for myself 🙈

I’ve been irrationally annoyed at Joe Wicks this morning for his three lovely beautiful children 😂 I’m blaming PMT.

Ive spiralled into ‘what if I’m infertile?!’ and I need to remind myself to chill as it’s literally been one try.

I’m officially out this month - loads of spotting this morning so AF is definitely about to land.

A little disappointing but only first cycle trying.

This cycle going to DTD more and not obsessively test.

aw hope it doesn’t last too long for you, my periods are usually quite heavy!

@LittleMiss2023 I’m not sure what happened but the frers after that came out stark negative. I still have the same symptoms (headaches, backache, cramps, sore nipples) and no period. Period is due tomorrow. I checked my cervix - usually it is very low and open right before my period, but it’s still very high up and very hard and closed. No spotting. Nothing, I’m very confused

I bought a 6 days early clear blue to try a diff brand and that was negative too. So idk why or how a pink line came up in the frer. Keep feeling like AF is coming but nothing there
