Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

@LittleMiss2023 so exciting! Feeling very lucky to have fallen quickly. I feel absolutely fine! I'm definitely way more tired than usual, yesterday evening was the first day this week I haven't napped on the sofa.

Just waiting for the 6 week mark to fill out the nhs form to get my first midwife appointment. We were toying with the idea of telling our families on Mothers Day but that would be 5 weeks, I'm not sure if this is too early considering I haven't had an appointment yet? 🤔

We have my brother staying with us, so I quietly told DH while my brother was showering. Then going away tomorrow for the weekend with my parents! I think we will keep it quiet for a few weeks, just because I know how my mum will react and it is still very early days!!

Ahhh! Congratulations! 🫶❤️ is this cycle #2 for you as well? So exciting!

Yep - cycle #2. How are you feeling? So far I feel alright - hardly any symptoms apart from slight cramping.

Thankyou everyone. And loads of luck to everyone else still going. Your turn will come xxx

GingerJanee · 08/03/2023 19:42

Aw congratulations everyone I’m so happy for you all!

Only 9dpo today but pretty sure I’m having implantation bleeding if that’s a thing, pink when I wipe (sorry TMI) and having cramps so hoping to do a FRER around Sunday and seeing what’s happening then.

EMcG3 · 08/03/2023 19:36

Aw, wonderful!

Yes that first one is also a definite line! Congratulations!

madeofcodes · 05/03/2023 10:29

Thank you @Mushroo ❤️

yes definitely just keep going every other day straight after your period. It's done the trick this time!

I've managed to upload the screenshot of my tracking up with the hearts for DTD.

@Mushroo @SnookyPook thank you ❤️ and thank you for our chats over the last month or so. @Mushroo how are things going with your cycle now?

We tried to keep DTD every other day, but I wasn't testing OPK until CD11 which is when I saw a 0.5 LH reading and thought I might ovulated early. DTD on CD11 and CD12 and before that was CD9 and CD6. I tried to upload a screenshot of my tracking app but it isn't working.

That’s so reassuring as every other day is our approach this month.

Cycle seems ok, due to ovulate in the next couple of days (hopefully…)

Honestly so happy for you!!

LittleMiss2023 · 05/03/2023 10:06

Congrats @madeofcodes - so exciting!! How many DPO are you?

Im 7DPO today and the urge to test is real. But I want to be strong and wait until at least 10DPO!

Thank you! ❤️🙏

I think I'm 11DPO so I'm actually surprised it's come up on the CB. I did a how many weeks one too and that said 1-2.

What I should also add is this month I had some 'alone time' on the days we didn't have sex. I don't know if that was a contributing factor but I don't think I did that at all last month 🤣

Did you do anything differently this cycle?

SnookyPook · 05/03/2023 09:31

@madeofcodes was about to say that is definitely positive without a doubt but the CB is the icing on the cake! Congrats! 😁

madeofcodes · 05/03/2023 09:08

Okay scrap all of that worry, my CB just came back...

Ah!!

madeofcodes · 05/03/2023 09:06

Hey girls!

I hope you're all well. So I need some line eyes. This is just a cheap hcg test that came with my OPKs and I thought let's try. I'm CD22 and I thought I hadn't ovulated and if I did it was early around CD10/11 because I hadn't had a peak. This is FMU.

I feel the same, trying to live the carefree life but also conscious to make healthy decisions when ttc!

We’ve our honeymoon in April and a wedding abroad in May so this month wouldn’t be ideal for a pregnancy but I also don’t want to miss a cycle and I’m a firm believer there’s never an ideal time for a baby! You can’t pick and choose the events when the baby arrives so trying to think along the lines whatever will be, will be. I sound so positive and really I’m a complete worrier once the TWW starts 😂

@Lauraboymum wishing you baby dust for baby number #4!

@LittleMiss2023 and @EMcG3 im with you both on the December baby issue, it’s a busy month and based on my cycles I know I’d be due around Christmas 22/23rd - hate that any babies birthdays would coincide with Christmas and I don’t think it would be that relaxing possibly going over etc.
