Do I see a vvfl?!

@Strawb28 i don’t know if less EWCM means you’re not ovulating though?! It may just be that you don’t have as much (I don’t think there’s actually a direct link to fertility there at all). Why don’t you see if you can get some hormonal tests - have you done any tests or anything? Fingers crossed this month, still lots to be hopeful about and fairly early on in the cycle!

@Nicole90134 Ah sorry to hear that AF came, hope you’re feeling alright about it. Mine has also so in same boat, on CD 3 now so going to focus on testing ovulation this month I think…

@smldnlove im on CD14 think my peak was yesterday but I'm still not getting much EWCM and I've upped my water to 2ltrs a day and cut out a lot of caffeine so I'm not feeling too hopeful!!

@Wright31 im CD 19 so I think I’ll probably test in a week or so! Got my BFP last time around 12 DPO always tempted to test early though. Feeling really odd though at the moment

@Wright31 Gosh I know the feeling, super busy at the moment too. That’s lovely you confided in your mum and totally agree with her in acupuncture, I’ve heard some really positive things about it for TTC and getting hormones balanced and cycles regulated. Fingers crossed!!! When do you have your first session?

I’m on CD2 so feels like a long way tk go now but I’m really keen to pin down my ovulation this month. Last month I based it a bit more in CM which is fine but wanna try and be more accurate this time and figure out my peak. I’ll probably start tracking CD6 but don’t think we will try this month! I think we’re gonna skip 1 month now and then try again in April as would then only be around 6 weeks till the wedding. I’m just worried about pregnancy sickness etc! (Getting ahead of myself😂)

@smldnlove have you decided whether you’re going to give it another go this month? I say go for it! I’m now on CD8 so nearing ovulation I think, so we are back at it! I ended up confiding in my mum and telling her that we are TTC and my worried etc and bless her she’s booked me in for some acupuncture as apparently it works wonders for regulating or lengthening cycles, so going to try that next month if we aren’t successful this month. Have also started seed cycling this month which might help too! Giving everything a go! Haha. how is everything with you?

@Tryingtobe123 dream sounds hectic! Probably your subconscious knowing you are longing for a baby that isn’t here yet or something! I’ve been having some weird vivid dreams too actually. Are you close to testing in this cycle? Or are you still a way off? Are you symptom spotting at all? I find it so hard not to!

I wish there was a way we could speak off this forum! It’s not that practical, but I love chatting to likeminded women who are also TTC. Speaking about it helps so much.

do you mind me asking your ages? I’m 31! Wish I’d started a little sooner to be honest knowing my issue with short luteal phase.

I'm back at it. After insisting and finally being seen by 3 GPs one of them prescribed me metformin, haven't picked it yet as I'm 5 days dpo and not sure when to test! Any suggestions?

I have irregular periods but I faintly spotted 7 days ago and that was it.😫 heeelp

@Tryingtobe123 Sorry just seen this I never got back to you! It's early June so it's at a bit of an awkward time now where I could just be deep in morning sickness and throwing up all day which is not ideal going down the aisle LOL. But my OH yesterday said he is keen to try this month (which he never usually has this much a strong opinion on - we've kind of just been going with the flow) so it feels like we are v invested now.

Also randomly had a dream I was having a baby. But it was via surrogate and my sister was the surrogate and she wouldn’t let me have the baby when it was born - not sure what that means!!!!

@Wright31 according to my app I’m 1 DPO. But I do ovulate really early and it’s never accurate on the app! When we got pregnant with our son I ovulated I think 4/5 days after my period ended! So I could be more like 8 DPO! Feeling really really bloated today and really crampy. I look about 5 months pregnant I’m that bloated so not sure if there’s something going on in there!!

@Wright31 Yeah that could be it, but agree that’s quite common and shouldn’t be an issue you can’t easily solve. Let us know what comes out of your blood work! And fingers crossed this month cos you literally just never know what to expect TTC it’s such a journey isn’t it. You must be coming up to ovulation now no??

AF arrived today! 4 days late which wasn’t as drastic as I thought actually as FLO predicted me yesterday. So exhausted today! But pleased it’s here so we can get back going again (still a bit undecided especially as Flo has predicted our due date would be December 23rd 😂😂😂

Hey @smldnlove ! Had my early cycle bloods taken on Monday and then need to go back day 21 for my progesterone bloods! So just waiting to see if they are on the low side and then hopefully get supplied some progesterone medication. But giving it all another shot this month as you never know! I guess that’s one good thing about having short cycles, it’s all comes around so quickly. I’m on day 6 of this next cycle already so will start DD regularly again asap! How are you getting on? Had AF arrived yet? I hope not!! I say go for it! Keep going. You never know if it’ll happen before or after and what a blessing if it’s before, you’d be a gorgeous pregnant bride!

@smldnlove hmmmm when is your wedding? I would honestly just keep going! My friend was mega pregnant when she got married and she still looked absolutely amazing! And she said the best bit about it looking back at the pics is that her little
girl was with them!

I’m still waiting for AF since the weekend, which is quite frustrating. Not sure why my cycle has increased - I’ve tested about 5 times from 9dpo through 14dpo and all stark negatives so it can’t be that. Hoping it turns up soon so I can get on with a new cycle. OH has said he really wants to try again this cycle (cycle 2/3 for us) but getting a bit close to our wedding so unsure whether to wait now…

How’s everyone doing? My partner asked for a quick afternoon one today whilst the LO napped - little does he know it’s my estimated peak ovulation day 😂

@Wright31 Wishing you all the good things for this cycle - please don’t get down about it all, it can really take you down a hole. Lots to be positive about and opportunities ahead. Hope tomorrow goes OK with doc, keep me updated.

Yeah fine on my side. Just waiting for AF really now - was due yesterday but it’s rarely ever to the day so expecting tomorrow to be aligned with my 28 day cycle. Had some pains on my right ovary for most of today but that’s not out of ordinary and still a lot of cm but think it may just be something else doing it. If no change tomorrow, I’ll test for sure maybe the afternoon…

CD3 so now onto cycle 4 😩 but Dr appt tomorrow so hopefully some answers this month on the short luteal phase! What about you??

@Wright31 oh I am so sorry to hear this - I totally get why you are upset and frustrated. Is there anything else you can do or is it medical intervention needed? Did you track last month and note your luteal phase was longer? Sorry you’re upset, it’s such a rollercoaster. Hope you can get into the docs to figure things out.

no more symptoms for me at all! Just waiting for AF to arrive tomorrow now to signal the new cycle really. I feel OK about it though, as you say we can try again next month!!

@Wright31 first cycle! We had some close family members pass away recently and just thought what are we waiting for! So this is the first month, I do usually ovulate really early though so we’ll see! Feeling mega sick and got proper cramping today so think I’m probably going to ovulate soon! If not today. Partner definitely doesn’t want to track though so literally going with the flow 😂
