@Blanketwars yes of course! When did you get the coil taken out. Hopefully you just ovulated late and it isn't showing up on the test yet, when are you next going to test? Do you have a pic of your other one you done? Xx

Just started last month to TTC #2. Period is 1 day late this month but no BFP - I used to spot quite a bit on the coil so wondering if my calculation of cycle length is slightly off.
Not using ovulation sticks at the moment but will start in a couple of months if no luck!

@TunnocksTCake how many times a day were you testing for ovulation? I only say that as mine could do from negative in the morning, positive by mid day and by the afternoon it already was going negative so maybe do a few a day as you are approaching your positive.
@gettingprepped sorry about your chemical! Really hope this month is the month for you- just like @TunnocksTCake I've heard that a lot of people get their positive the month after due to a shake up of hormones. I've always used ovulation tests so now know a rough date of when I ovulate and can always tell from EWCM so maybe if that works for you too keep an eye out! Xx

@ukMummyof1 Thank you, it really helps to know youre not alone 🙂Definitely a mental readjustment and reset when starting a new month. Sounds like you're going through alot with your PCOS & investigations, I hope you get your diagnosis, as I know it can be hard to convince docs to take you seriously with these things. It is good that you are having regular cycles at least.
I have been using cheap OPKs but often miss my peak so Im going to use CB digial ones this month, as that worked when I conceived my daughter. Also on a whole host of supplements to try and sort my periods out, which are all also good for hormones & fertility.
@gettingprepped Welcome, and sorry about your chemical, if it helps I got pg with my daughter the very next month after a chemical, they say they can boost fertility somehow... was true for me at least, and its a good sign that you can get pregnant.

Hello everyone! Count me in please. Stopped taking the pill just after DC1 turned 2 a couple of months ago. Had a chemical pregnancy this month, so onwards and upwards for February! I can’t temp as my sleep is so disturbed by my existing child… and I’m not sure ovulation testing would be good for me mentally. So I’m going by the calendar and crossing fingers! It’ll be nice to share the journey with people.

Hi hope it’s ok to join this thread..I am also trying to conceive. Will be pregnancy no4 as unfortunately had 1 ectopic and a tfmr last august but in between the two have had a little girl who is now almost 2.
my hubby works away a fair amount which adds another layer to TTC. Anyway I am CD 26 today and taken a FRER, I see a faint line but not sure if this is indent or evap line? I think I am about 11/12dpo but I didn’t actually get a definitive OPK and then I ran out…not wanting to get hopes up but will attach test pic x

Have you done anymore test?🤞🏼

Hi All, can I join? Currently ttc our first on cd11 of cycle 2.. I didn't get a leak on opks last month so not sure if I actually ovulated or whether the cheapie tests weren't that good!

@TunnocksTCake oh no! I was the exact same with coming from the other thread! Thats awful with your periods since your daughter :( I completely sympathise with you.. do you test for ovulation? I'm not sure if I'm going to this month m I didn't last month but have on past months so know roughly when I do ovulate but joining new threads everything is super draining😩

Oh wow that's amazing with your daughter! My son is nearly a year but with PCOS and currently under a gynaecologist for getting diagnosed for endo and also recently having an ectopic pregnancy and unfortunately only being left with 1 tube I've understood that it could take some time. Surprisingly though despite all of that my periods are very regular so hoping that will work in my favour.
That's also brilliant (and so handy) being a midwife with all the professional help around you! Definitely let me know how Thursday goes- fingers crossed you'll be just about to ovulate! Xx

Hi, coming over from the January thread as AF arrived in full force with an awful migraine yesterday 😫
On CD 2, Cycle 4 of TTc for #2, DD was 2 in September and took a while for us to conceive her so trying (& failing) to stay calm and expect to be in for the long haul!
I have had awful PMS since having DD and have been thoroughly investigated with scans and blood tests but all came back 'normal' so im trying to live as clean as possible to help my symptoms and our chances!
Fingers crossed February is our lucky month ladies!

Oh great we're a day apart!
My periods are mostly regular but I do have the odd one that's out a bit. Are yours?
I didn't test for ovulation with my girl, we just decided to start and happened to have timed perfectly with ovulation, only had sex once. How old is your little one?
So GPs aren't very good at that stuff I don't think, I have an appointment with a fertility consultant on Thursday so will let you know, I'll be day 10 so hopefully will be able to tell me if I'm going to ovulate.

Im a midwife so have a few gynae consultants I get advice from too which is a perk of the job x

@1greentea hi, yes of course! I'm only one day ahead of you in the cycle so hopefully can relate. Have you periods always been regular and did you test for ovulation in the past? I also fell pregnant easily with #1! May be worth speaking to a go about ovulating if not, I'm sure there are tablets you can take to trigger ovulation... keep us updated! I think I'm coming off my period today and am on day 7 and usually ovulate on day 16 so fingers crossed that this is 'the' month🙈 I've got my fingers crossed for us all xxx

TTC #2, baby girl is 2.5 years old now. I got pregnant very easily with her and have been ready for #2 for a year but husband wanted to wait until end of 2022....got to nov 22 and didn't ovulate....didn't ovulate dec either....so skipped 2 periods and FINALLY got my period on Tues so I'm day 5 today. Never skipped periods before and I'm totally crazy so had a load of bloods done, some were abnormal so now convinced myself I have no eggs left and im perimenopausal at 34 lol.
Have a private consultation on Thurs with an ultrasound etc to check what's going on. But have felt really relaxed being on period after 2 months of anxiety, so going to try to just enjoy TTC this month and BD every other day or every 3 days from today and hope that my body is back to normal. Still worried though. I had day 3 bloods done on Thurs so they'll be back in time for my scan.

Hey, hope you don't mind me joining the thread feel like i need some TTC buddies! I'm TTC baby #1, had a MC @ 8/9 weeks in June 22 and was just using flo app hoping something would happen by now but hasn't! This month is first time tracking ovulation with CBD + Premom ovulation strips and i am currently 5DPO overthinking absolutely everything! Fingers crossed for us all xx

Possibly... I was testing for ovulation a few months ago but have now got an idea about when I ovulate so going to just watch out for EWCM I think. I know some people do the temp checks as well but I think that would drive me crazy with constantly checking😂 I'm already a pain when it comes to testing and holding off😂

No I tested earlier in cycle and got negative but it was probably way too early anyway! AF due Saturday but my cycles do vary between 28- 33 days so I’m not 100% but I do think this one is shorter because ovulation was earlier. Had some light crampy feeling yesterday so who knows !
