@TK220440 from what I know about the pregnancy side of testing, your temp will stay up after ovulation and should stay up for quite a while, if it drops your period then usually comes but if it stays up then it's a good sign (I think! May need to check I'm right)
My DP was away this week and only home yesterday so hopefully we were just in time🤞 we are TTC baby number 2 and had an ectopic pregnancy last August which resulted in emergency surgery to have both the pregnancy and right tube removed sadly. We have pretty much been TTC a month after that, until my hormones calmed back down😊 you? Xx

Joining in on this thread, currently at the start CD5 & this is cycle 2 of Letrozole which I have had increased to 5mg.

Hope you are all okay and looking forward to seeing those BFP this month/next 🫶🏼

@RaindropsOnRoses22 honestly it's so hard isn't it! I've done it to myself this month since 6DPO and I can say all it brings is stress if you implant late / aren't pregnant. Probably best to start testing from 10dpo save yourself money & more days from questions 🤣x

I'm determined to make it to at least 10dpo, but I've been charting bbt and now can't tell exactly which day I ovulated. I know it's some time between CD14 and CD16, but if it's 16, that puts me 2 days behind where I thought I was.

@mummytoemilia how many dpo are you now? Are you holding out for af or testing?

TK220440 · 07/02/2023 10:10

@ukMummyof1 from my research, ovulation can vary at each month so it could be that you ovulate either side of CD16... do you DTD every other day/every 2 days during your fertile week?
I didn’t realise temping can help with having an idea of pregnancy? I find the charts so confusing!!! But I guess it’ll only become clearer after a full month of charting.. How long have you been ttc and is it your first? xx

ukMummyof1 · 07/02/2023 09:56

Little update, I had EWCM yesterday evening and quite bad ovulation pains and this morning the EWCM came into full force (sorry TMI!!) am I right in thinking that I'll be ovulating today and will be 1dpo tomorrow OR ovulating tomorrow and be 1dpo the day after tomorrow? I usually test positive on day 16 when I used to test which I think is today but had the ovulation pains yesterday so I'm not sure. How is everyone getting on?

@TK220440 of course! So sorry to hear about your chemical. I don't temp check but used to use strip tests. Although, I've heard temp checking is really helpful to know not only when you ovulate but also to have an idea of if you are pregnant (after the TWW). Xx

Hi everyone!
Can I join please? 🤗We started TTC #1 last June and (besides a 3 month break after a chemical in July), this will technically be our 6th cycle... It’s so exciting and such a rollercoaster of up and downs!
Does anybody temp here? I find using OPK’s a bit of a pain, so my thermometer arrived today and I’m hoping I’ll be able to find out if and when my ovulation day is! (although I’m on CD15 today so may be too late).
We only managed to DTD twice so far (CD7 and CD13) so I’m not holding much hope for this month
xx

RaindropsOnRoses22 · 06/02/2023 12:28

@mummytoemilia that all sounds positive! Fingers crossed!

@ukMummyof1 I'd say if you've BD'd before it, then you're still in with a chance!

I'm driving myself crazy at the moment. I'm only 5dpo, so it's way too early to test but it's all I think about at the moment. I'm going to try my best to hold out until 10dpo, but I think it's going to be a struggle 🙈

mummytoemilia · 06/02/2023 12:12

I have done a test this morning. Which looks similar to the ones I've been having. I've also done a one step which is slightly visable too ( wasn't getting that before ) but still nothing to get me excited yet.

Have started experiencing a really achey left breast today. Had a look and I've formed Montgomery tubercles! So I'm hoping this is a good sign & maybe I just implanted yesterday.
I've heard it's common to implant day 9/10 also🤞🏼 xx

ukMummyof1 · 06/02/2023 11:04

@mummytoemilia got my fingers crossed for you! You are still a few days away from AF so there's still time! Did you test this morning!? Xx

OP posts:
mummytoemilia · 05/02/2023 20:40

@ukMummyof1 I tracked my ovulation surge & am doing dpo from the day after so I could possibly be a day out I suppose.. I'm hoping.

I had a chemical last month so I haven't had my regular cycle inbetween but my estimate for my period is the 10th xx

ukMummyof1 · 05/02/2023 20:38

@mummytoemilia when are you due on? You aren't out until AF shows up! Hopefully you just ovulated later than you thought xx

OP posts:
mummytoemilia · 05/02/2023 20:37

To add to my last post. 11dpo or later on a first response early detection test x

mummytoemilia · 05/02/2023 20:36

I'm going insane.🤣😢
I'm Literally convinced I'm pregnant from cramping since ovulation ect.
But still negative I'm 10dpo I'm losing hope as I showed up at 9dpo & 7dpo previous pregnancies.
I thought I've had what I'd call the faintest positive I've ever seen since 6DPO ( unable to capture on camera ) bur now I feel they're just indents.
Anyone ever had positive 11dpo or later before? X

ukMummyof1 · 05/02/2023 20:24

@Elle2295 did you test again? X

ukMummyof1 · 05/02/2023 20:24

How's everyone getting on? I usually ovulate on day 16 which works out to be Tuesday but tonight I've had some of what I think could be ovulation pains and discharge that looks like it could very soon enough turn into EWCM. Does anyone know how long after ovulation pains is too late to BD? DP isn't at home tonight so I'm worried this months chance is lost already...xx

OP posts:
ukMummyof1 · 04/02/2023 14:37

@Elle2295 are these all from this morning? Maybe wait to test in 2 days because then you'll defo be able to see a progression if so. Also, are these the Poundland ones? I've never had an evap on these even after they have dried so I have lots of hope❤️❤️

Elle2295 · 04/02/2023 09:17

I did a cheap strip one this morning and same thing happened. The line didn’t come up straight away but it was there a couple of hours later. This hasn’t happened with any of my tests before so not sure whether it might be the start of something. I’ll buy a first response for tomorrow so fingers crossed xx

@Elle2295 omg that must be driving you insane! I've heard about Evaps on a first response but not a clear blue but I guess you could get them on any test sadly. Have you done another test?!🤞

OP posts:
RaindropsOnRoses22 · 03/02/2023 16:02

@mummytoemilia hsg only doubles every couple of days so you'd be best waiting to 10dpo to test again which I know is easier said than done!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

mummytoemilia · 03/02/2023 15:47

Hi ladies! I'm so confused help me...

Is this just because I'm so early?... has anyone else has this then their past pregnancies have been fine?

First response tests:

6DPO - super super faint ( squinter )
7DPO - super faint but slightly darker (squinter)
8DPO - pretty much negative ( keep thinking I'm seeing things but I don't think I am )

After my chemical last month I really thought this was our month! Am I just being negative? It's really had not too.

Thankyou xx

Elle2295 · 03/02/2023 15:42

Hello! Can I please join this thread too? I’m 8 dpo and despite my better judgement I’ve already taken a few tests which were negative. Today I tried once more but the test wouldn’t settle within the first 5-10 minutes so I felt overwhelmed and threw it away. 5-6 hours later I came back and noticed a line. Fully appreciate that they shouldn’t be interpreted outside the 10 minute window and this may be an evap line. What do you think? The top one is the one I took couple days ago and bottom is today’s.
Sending baby dust to everyone!

I know how you feel ttcsecond, I’ve got my fingers crossed this is your month! ❤️

LolaLo20 · 03/02/2023 15:24

I’m in the same boat… I have 5yo DS and we have been ttc no2 for 7 cycles now. Currently in the tww again and driving myself insane! 😫 Can’t test for at least another 8 days and trying to ignore the pg tests sitting in the bathroom cupboard!

I also had two friends tell me they are pregnant in the last month, and of course I’m really happy for them - but it’s been a bit of a sucker punch too 😞. And then I feel guilty for feeling that way because I already have an amazing little boy, and shouldn’t I just be happy for what I have? Just so desperately want another LO to complete our family and give our DS a sibling.

This tww is the absolute worst! 😞

Can I join the thread please?
TTC my second. Started trying last month but unfortunately had a chemical pregnancy. Hoping this is the month for a successful pregnancy. Currently on CD 7 but I don’t ovulate until around CD18. I’m using ovulation tests and trying to track my BBT too for the first time. Fingers crossed for everyone!!
