TWW 1dpo today - who's with me?

Hello!

Im just at the start of my TWW!

TTC cycle 1 (unofficially 6months)
Baby number 2 (DD is 2.5yrs old)
CD 18
Cycle length approx 25-29days long
1DPO today
AF due approx 31/1

Me and DH have been unofficially TTC baby number 2 for about 6months, so basically not been using any protection but not tracking my cycles either and just leaving it up to fate. However this month I've been doing OPKs and got a positive test on Wednesday and then a spike in my BBT this morning so pretty sure I can pin point my ovulation at some point yesterday putting me at about 1dpo today! DH and I have been DTD regularly throughout my fertile window this month so feeling hopeful!

Morning girls

I woke up at 5am needing a wee so I tested and I’ve got a very very faint line, came up straight away and it’s pink so I’m pretty sure it’s not an indent. I can’t get a proper pic it’s not picking up properly on my phone (looks pale in pic but it’s definitely got colour) 🙈
I’m only 9/10 DPO but had to do it today because I’m supposed to be going out tonight! Going to test again tomorrow, if it’s positive I’ll be astounded as I really didn’t think we were in with a chance this month!

Sorry to hear some of you are feeling rubbish- wishing you speedy recoveries!

Not much to report from me today- still constant cramps which I’ve had for days. Something is going on down there, not sure what yet!

Evening ladies, I've been feeling crap all day, really wiped out and tired and just generally not well and it turns out I have tonsillitis, I've been asleep since DD went to bed at half 7! Difficult to symptom spot when most likely everything I'm feeling right now is down to the tonsillitis.

@Hmeeg I use Flo and though it is more or less right for my periods I feel like it was off with my ovulation. This is the first month I've used OPKs and actually pinpointed ovulation and it actually happened a few days later than my Flo app said. I think if you're tracking your CM and cervical position then hopefully that'll give you a better idea of when you ovulated rather than the apps. I think they just basically work off of averages and maybe have slightly different algorithms which is why they can vary from app to app.

@Luna0905 welcome to our little group! Sorry to hear your TTC journey has taken so long. I'm really hoping your faint line is the beginning of your BFP! Looking forward to hearing the results of your FRER tomorrow morning. Are you able to share a picture of you're squinter see if we can see anything too?

We’ll todays update is that I now have a raging cold. My sniffle turned out to just be actual illness! Totally explains the runny nose, sore throat, hot and chills, needing to pee, back pain, sore boobs and bleeding gums (must be run down as I never get that). Also been super hungry with a cold so eating lots leading to bloating 🤷🏼‍♀️
As soon as I got Ill all my ‘symptoms’ went. Feel ok about it though, just glad I didn’t have 8 more days of thinking I was pg when just brewing a cold 🥶 doh 🤦‍♀️

Welcome @Luna0905 you’re the same as me then, I’m 10DPO tomorrow going to do a FRER in the morning. Had really bad cramps today though like AF is imminent!

@Hmeeg I use Flo it's been accurate for my period but not for my ovulation this is my first cycle it had me ovulating on day 11 but I used ovulation tests and got 😊 on cycle day 15 for ovulation, even though I have updated my ovulation it still says my Af is due next week but it's actually Sunday because I have a 27 day cycle. So I haven't found it accurate for ovulation hope that's helps Flowers

I think it's the same for me, definitely accurate for my period but not ovulation. I will have to start opks I think!!!

I had some weird shooting cramps in my lower back and had dull cramps all day yesterday and today xx

i was just driving to my sons karate and got like a shooting almost muscle pull kinda pain that lasted for a wee minute…but it was like in my lower back anyone else had anything like that…I’m 7dpo so probably just making stuff up in my head haha

Hi 👋🏼 I’d love to join!
I’m 9 or 10dpo today. Got excited did a test last night and got a squinter. I’m trying to hold out until the morning to do FRER. Got a lot of symptoms and had some spotting on Wednesday and today.
Glad I’ve found this group, been going crazy not being able to talk to anyone apart from hubby! I’ve been TTC for 3 years for 1st baby and this is the first time I’ve even had a faint line and any symptoms but trying not to get my hopes up too much. Hoping everyone gets their BFPs xxx

Ladies, I have 2 different apps which track my periods and ovulation. Both have the exact same dates for my periods going back well over a year. And yet one has me at 5 dpo and the other has me at 3 dpo. I'm not using opks to determind ovulation so just going by CM and cervical position. One is the flo app which is very popular and the other is a generic periods calendar. Has anyone used the flo app which puts me at 5 DPO and is it accurate??

Also I just have to say that trying to get pregnant is weird. This is the only time ever that I’m like ‘oh hope my boobs get really veiny and I get a spotty face’ 😅🤭

@Myperfectchaos I feel this way today too! Had my daughters ballet class this morning and all I wanted to do was flop on the sofa rather than going through all the rigmarole of getting us both dressed and out the house before 9! Also meant to be going to the gym later but I'm so tiiiiired 😴🥱

@Babydustthisyear yeah I know, not out until AF shows but can't help but feel disheartened. Feel like AF is just around the corner!

@Sophie3839 weirdly I'm now really cold! But over night was roasting, maybe I'm coming down with something but like I say I often get really hot over night with AF!

@MrsSB2023 sorry you're not feeling great today either! I just feel tired and fed up and in a bit of a grump! I'm only 8dpo so trying to put off testing until after the weekend. You planning to test with FMU tomorrow?

Morning girls
I’m feeling pretty sh1t today, low mood and emotional, irritable. I’m thinking AF is just round the corner. I’m tempted to test today just so I know one way or the other but only 9DPO. I had a dream last night I had implantation bleeding (can’t get away from symptom spotting even when I’m asleep 😂)
No real cramps but I do feel really bloated and feel starving constantly but I think it’s just the hormone shift leading up to AF.
move got to test tomorrow before this night out anyway so will keep you all updated! x

@Babydustthisyear ive had similar symptoms to you except I’ve been tired but had insomnia 😩 so annoying. 10dpo eeek you’re close to testing Sunday approaches 🤗

I’ve had the bloating going on too @Myperfectchaos and started to get a runny nose now too so think I’m just Ill which would explain the needing to wee lots with cold/flu

@Carysmatic I can’t say I’ve had night sweats but def gone hot and cold but I think I’m Ill so that’s prob not helpful info 🤷🏼‍♀️🤭

hate that AF and pms are the same symptoms!

@Carysmatic - you still have hope not out until your out but like you say it's so confusing because symptoms are similar.

I can’t keep my eyes open. Fell asleep watching the telly 2 nights in a row. Some mild cramp and twinges yesterday I’m 7dpo today. The urge to test is insane!!

also really bloated and gassy.

So difficult not to symptom stop, especially as AF approaches and symptoms of AF can be so similar to AF too! So confusing.

That being said I've woken up this morning feeling very similar to how I feel in the lead up to AF, woke in the night with night sweats which I often get before and with AF, lower back ache and a heavy feeling in my lower tummy. Fatigue, again which I get with AF and a headache! Also feeling really bloated which I also get just before AF, so I'm not feeling very hopeful this month!

Hey ladies, just checking in I'm 10po starting to drive myself crazy with symptom spotting, I had cramps 1-7dpo and no cramps now.

latest symptoms 8-9dpo for me has been fatigue but I started a new job so that could be the reason too, I also noticed yesterday my sense of smell was heightened and waking up past few days hungry I was also very bloated this week but that has settled. I felt a little emotional this week and a bit irritated (I do get irritated before Af) so this isn't anything new and I'm also very sensitive so these aren't really new for me.

AF is due Sunday, I have no tests thankfully I'm really really going to try to hold off until one day after AF is due but I can feel my mind just focusing on this constantly 🫣🫣

Honestly so grateful for this group, it can all get a bit much especially when u haven't told friends or family 💕💕💕
