Just thought I'd come on here to say that after my chemical in January and no success in February, I have just got my BFP on cycle 3 😁

@Optimistic66 @FizzyFlamingo I feel the exact same!!! I didn’t have this last time, little one was a happy surprise, but I’m too impatient. I’ve got a few more days to wait but think I might try ovulation sticks this month to see how things go. I’m not sure if that’ll just stress me out more though. How are you all feeling?

FizzyFlamingo · 19/02/2023 13:08

@Optimistic66 I think I just commented on your other thread actually but I'm on here too! 👋🏼

I think the stress/anxiety is different but it's still there because I've loved having DD and the thought of not being able to experience that again and have another baby is quite scary. But equally I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it once when before DD I worried I'd never get to - so it's a weird feeling! I don't know if that makes any sense 😂

Optimistic66 · 19/02/2023 12:57

this is me too! TTC baby 2 and also have PCOS!

Time just got away and my son is 2, worried we left it too late and it will take forever to concieve espc as i have irregular and VERY light periods!

why is it just as stressful for baby 2! i thought i’d feel less stress because i already had one!

NWnature · 17/02/2023 22:33

Hi @Torinunn2022 and @TunnocksTCake I’m here still. I think my last cycle was messed up by the CP but I am hoping I am back on track and
I think ovulating around now if the clear blue can be trusted (first static smile this AM on CD17) though the strips are not showing anything whatsoever. So confusing. Wishing you both luck! I’ve been really ill this week but still made my husband do it the day before last, yesterday and going to try this eve 😆

Sending good luck vibes to you both and hope those with BFPs are getting on well!

TunnocksTCake · 17/02/2023 21:12

@Torinunn2022 hey 😊 still trying, cycle 4 and 4dpo today so in the agonising wait. We have it a good go this month and I got an unusually strong surge on OPKs so hoping that's a good sign 🤞🏻 how about you?

Torinunn2022 · 17/02/2023 17:34

thought I’d come back on here and ask how everyone is doing?
many updates from anyone ? :)

FizzyFlamingo · 06/02/2023 16:01

@BeaKind she's just turned 19 months. She's only got a tad more consistent at sleeping through the night these past 3-4 months but we still have the odd blip! And when we do it's normally a good blip and things go pear shaped 😂🤦🏼‍♀️. Your friends must have those mythical unicorn babies 😉

BeaKind · 06/02/2023 12:46

Thank you @FizzyFlamingo 🙏 how old is your little one? All our friends babies have slept through since about 10 weeks old and we’ve not had 8 hours sleep for 2 years 😅 hopefully we’ll be getting even less sleep soon 🤪

@Halpmer keep eating. 😝 I remember loving allll the hangover food when I was pregnant. Cheese, carbs, general rubbish lol. How far along are you now?

Halpmer · 06/02/2023 08:32

Hi everyone, good grief what a weekend! So busy with boring stuff, it was one of those. DS was acting very strange on Saturday, so cuddly and sleepy so didn't get much done or do anything which meant Sunday was jam packed full of chores! (It was nice to have many cuddles and contact naps on Saturday though)

Feeling good here, hunger = nausea of course, but if I'm not hungry I'm fine. Still hopeful that this little one will stick around as no reason to believe otherwise at the minute, so just enjoying it while I can!

@BeaKind I would say so. Sometimes my opk's don't show as 'peak' on the app but both lines are really dark in comparison to my non peak days. You might have just missed your peak reading by a few hours. My LH surge seems to be really short. I'm in same boat with temping. I try and do it and usually still see a shift around when I ovulate but I know it's not totally reliable because of the disturbed sleep sometimes 🤦🏼‍♀️

BeaKind · 05/02/2023 18:38

Hi everyone. Looking at these opks, do you think I peaked yesterday rather than just high? I think the tests are a bit naff tbh as the test line is never very consistent in colour the whole thickness. 🤷‍♀️

I can’t really temp to confirm as my 2 year old has me up most nights 😅 I also have pcos so know it’s not that reliable.

Hi everyone, I'll join in👋🏼

TTC no.2. DD has just turned 19months. We first started TTC Jan 2019. MMC in nov 2019. Fell pregnant with DD a year later in sept and she was born July 21. Decided that as it took us a while to fall with DD we'd start trying again when she turned 1. Fell pregnant very unexpectedly the first month trying in July last year but that pregnancy also ended in MC around 6 weeks. I was still breastfeeding and my periods had only just returned! I think I was then lulled into a false sense of security that it might happen quickly again... but here we are 7 months later 🤦🏼‍♀️. I'm trying not to get too disheartened just yet as I know it's well within normal but it's soo frustrating. I'd like another baby before I'm 34 (in a years time) to hopefully leave time for a 3rd if we decide that's what we want.

My period started yesterday so keeping everything crossed for this cycle 🤞 good luck everyone!

LolaLo20 · 05/02/2023 14:33

Hi I hope you don’t mind me joining this thread too! :)

I have a 5yo DS and have been ttc number 2 for 7 cycles now. I’m in the tww, and only 6dpo so trying my best to wait until at least 10dpo before I start testing.

I’m not sure why, but this month’s tww is much harder than other months. I think it’s because we so desperately want to give my DS a sibling and expand our family, I feel like wherever I go there are pregnant women or babies everywhere!

Fingers triple crossed for this month

NWnature · 05/02/2023 14:25

really sorry to hear that @WhiteHorse92 . Take it easy today❤️

WhiteHorse92 · 05/02/2023 11:03

Started cramping and bleeding this morning so I guess that's the end of that. I know line progression in the early days doesn't necessarily mean anything but with the lines getting fainter and going from pink to colourless I had a feeling it was a chemical. Onto cycle #2 I guess!

Clouless · 04/02/2023 07:54

@NWnature @HHalpmer

Hello! Thanks for your replies. They both make sense and I don't suppose there is ever a perfect time.

My little boy is 16 months 💙. Last time we fell pregnant about 3 months after having my implant removed, which was quicker than I thought it would be, but felt like ages at the time! I think we have just decided that we don't want to stop anything happening right now, if that makes sense. We're already in the baby/ toddler trenches- so let's carry on! Not sure how long it will take though as I am still BF and working as a teacher full-time. That doesnt leave much time for anything else!

Congratulations- @HHalpmer. How are you feeling today?

Halpmer · 04/02/2023 07:30

@Clouless for us, we had actually had a fairly rigid plan to have #2 when DS was heading to school.. then that crept forward to whenever he was on his 30 free hours... then we were in a pub with DS in pushchair and a couple (must've been mid50s latest) said 'have our table, we'll be leaving soon anyway, we'll finish our drinks at the bar, we know what it's like to have little ones - ours are all grown now'... my husband did the maths in his head and realised if we want 3 or 4 kiddos and wait until each one goes to school before having the next we would've been repeating the newborn/baby/toddler phase for about 15-20 more years and he did not like those stats (nor did I - we love DS and have enjoyed each stage to an extent but it's bloody difficult having a baby and we're sort of looking at it as putting the graft in now to reap the rewards of having older little ones and beyond if that makes sense) so we figured out the earliest we could possible have another baby (without being financially crippled) and figured it was actually around now.

@WhiteHorse92 ah I'm sorry to hear that 😢 I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for your other tests 🤞

Thanks. Trying to be a bit more optimistic, my Frer on Sunday was BFN then started getting pink lines so must be very early, I know HCG is so low in the first few days that tests can hover between faint and nothing for quite a few days and between batches so hopefully will see more of a BFP in a few days. No period either which is always a good sign I guess.

Tabbycat92 · 03/02/2023 10:30

@WhiteHorse92 how was the FRER this morning?

I was gonna wait to do another at the weekend, but caved and did it. It's stronger again. Forcing myself to save my last test for Sunday. Then I have the treat of a digital to use next week.

They look like good lines, congrats! No such luck for me though, did my other FRER this morning with FMU and I have a line again but it's so faint you can barely see it and has no colour and can't see it in the photo at all. I don't have a clue about DPO but I suspect I'm very early and I must have ovulated late in my cycle, regardless I would have expected some progression from the line 2 days ago so unfortunately I'd be surprised if this isn't a chemical. I've ordered some more FRERs, getting delivered at some point between now and Wednesday so I'll just use one whenever it turns up, by then it'll either be a strong line or no line so I'll know for sure.

@Shiny88 I have no idea. I didn't ovulate when I usually would, so I wrongly assumed I'd ovulated early. We dtd not expecting anything, and seems I must have ovulated late instead. I would guess at being about 12dpo by when we dtd to have caught it.

BeaKind · 03/02/2023 11:37

@Tabbycat92 that looks like good progression. Congratulations!

My OPK’s are finally getting darker. About to do another in the hope it’s showing high 🤞 CD28 😬 🙏

Shiny88 · 03/02/2023 11:16

@Tabbycat92 congratulations- how many days PO are you? X
