@Annapolis35 hope your procedure goes well today. Will be thinking of you. 💜
Sorry I've been awol, I've been feeling so poorly and only just about functioning. Waiting on a call today from the doctor to hopefully get some anti-nausea medicine.
@ANP2020 sounds like an absolute palava with the pharmacy. Glad you got there in the end.
Sorry you are having spotting. Your dream with your nan sounds wonderful, I really hope that it is a premonition of a beautiful little baby boy (or girl) in your future.
@Jen05p @Shaker21 I hope the next round of meds work for you guys.
The unexplained infertility journey is so hard and draining.
Re the needless syringe method - yes, he just did his thing in a pot and then, given it's meant to help, used a toy on me (quicker!) And then when I was close pushed the syringe in so it was almost like the real deal.
It was DP's idea weirdly. As I had been struggling so much with sex on a timetable after 2.5 years, it was really getting to me (& him but in a different way). Only took the one month. We still DTD the old fashioned way several times, but this got extra chances on the days I just couldn't get my head in it.
Have you all had full bloods done? I don't know if it made any difference as the timing was possibly too soon, but in December I pushed for full bloods (rather than the bloods they usually do for infertility which I had already had) and saw I had very low B12, which is known to cause difficulties conceiving. I started eating more foods with B12 and taking a B12 supplement straight away as I couldn't get a doctor appointment until the new year. I did eventually start intensive B12 injections after speaking to the doctor (but by then I was already pregnant). I don't know if the food and weaker supplements made any difference in the few weeks I was taking them, but it's definitely worth getting a full panel just in case.
