Hey everyone!

Is anyone else trying TTC #1?

I think I’m 9DPO although my cycles vary from 28-34 days so I’m really not sure. This is my first cycle TTC so I haven’t tracked ovulation.

I took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning and BFN, I’ve heard digitals aren’t as accurate, is that true? (The way the test was laid and how I was sat meant the ‘not’ was in the shadow so for a second I thought it just said pregnant, was gutted!)

Any advice on not driving yourself mad during the TWW? 😂

I'm CD13 today and just got my first positive OPK this morn, so lots of DTD the next few days! Anyone else in their fertile window now?

@kalixxx I'm so sorry to hear that AF reared her ugly head ☹️ so disheartening, but we have to try to remember we are both still so early in this crazy TTC journey (although a lot easier said than done I know!!) Here's hoping this new cycle will be a lucky one for both of us xx

@AccidentallyRunToWindsor of course! It took me a while to learn all the abbreviations, I think there’s still ones I don’t know! Like OPK, I know it has to do with ovulation tests but not sure what it actually stands for 😂

Oh I feel your pain, this is only my 2nd cycle trying but it’s getting me down! AF (aunt flow/period) came today so that’s this cycle out! Have you tried anything new each cycle? X

Can I sneak in here please? Have no idea what all the abbreviations mean but DP and I have been 'not trying not too' since September with no luck 😒 I'm older so I lm worried I've missed the boat!

@Piglet34 I caved already 😭 BFN again this morning and discharge is slightly brown so I think I’m definitely most likely out this month ☹️ x

@Piglet34 it’s not no! It was only ever so slightly pink and none today, but don’t want to get my hopes up! I’m going to try and wait to test again until the weekend, wish me luck 😅😂 x

@kalixxx is pink discharge normal for you before period? If not then doesn't necessarily mean AF is about to show! Fingers crossed it doesn't 🤞🏻 are you going to test again or just wait another few days and see what happens? X

@Piglet34 had some slightly pink discharge yesterday but no AF today, not sure how to feel now! 😩

Ahh I see! Sounds like a pretty solid (and tiring😂) method! I’ll be testing that out for next cycle if AF shows! X

@kalixxx I've got everything crossed for you that it was just too early! It's the worst when you just have a feeling it's going to be positive and then that blank test appears ☹️ hopefully your AF stays away and you get a BFP in the next few days xx

SMEP is sperm meets egg plan so you DTD every other day from CD8, then three days in a row from when you get the LH peak on OPKs. Because I ovulate late-ish I worked out it will be about 8 times in 12 days! 🙈 will see how it goes aha x

@Piglet34 I’m hoping I was just too early, feel a bit deflated today! My cycles can range from 29-33 days so I am hopefully too early, I just thought with symptoms I’ve never had before I was sure to get a BFP 😅

What’s SMEP? X

@FlyingHighFlyingLow ooh we are only a few days apart for the next cycle then, I am CD4 today so we can keep each other company :) I'm the same, periods were regular and now usually between 27-32 days with ovulation on CD17. I am doing SMEP this month though so not that long until that starts on CD8 x

@mum2liam1 hmm yeah if you ovulated on those dates then you would expect there to be a clear positive by now usually but if you have missed a period then that is very confusing especially along with the faint positive tests. Hope you get the answers you need on Thursday x

@kalixxx ow so sorry to hear about the BFN ☹️ but your right 12 dpo is still so early and the digital tests especially are less sensitive I think. So annoying when our bodies play tricks on us but definitely test again in a day or two. When would your AF be due usually ? X

Ok after my last post I caved and tested, all I had was a clear blue ultra early digital, got a BFN. Feel absolutely gutted as I was pretty sure it was going to be a BFP with how painful my nipples have been. Hopefully I’m just too early ☹️

Been a busy weekend but nice to see new names on this thread! Hope you’re all doing well ❤️

I’m around 12 DPO and have incredibly sensitive/painful nipples which I’ve never had! Realllyyyy fighting the urge to test, done a lot better with not early testing this cycle 😅

@FR49 @Piglet34 AF has just started so I guess CD1 of cycle 2! I used to be regular 28 days on the dot until I had a mirena, never gone back properly since I had it out 2 years ago (condoms only since). Now it can be 25-34 days, but usually is around day 30. Best of luck to us all this cycle!

I ovulated around 31 jan -2nd Feb .

So if I waited for 21 days after I'm assuming I test around Tuesday Wednesday. Been using dip test as have ordered larger batch.

Been have nausea . Headace and slight cramps and light headed tried cb but I know they don't detect till hcg is higher scale .

Driving me crazy kinda glad had no test indoors so I don't keep testing.

That's what I thought with so many positve result all in time frame aswell .

@FlyingHighFlyingLow sorry to hear your in that uncertain time atm! How long are your cycles usually and what dpo are you? X

@mum2liam1 big hugs it must be so stressful when things are up in the air :( how many dpo are you at the moment? That's good you've got bloods coming up soon so you can know for sure! It is strange you have so many faint lines but I have read that some people don't have strong lines until quite a bit after missed period. Hope it's a good outcome for you xx

I'm the exact! On CD32. And AF hasn't arrived yet although I always start on time. Not sure what could be happening.

Do you usually have regular periods?

So been ttc got pcos and been tracking ovulation .been feeling faint headace . Slight cramping . Started testing got faint lines and then some clear line . Since this negative but waiting fir more test to come and got bloods on Thursday. Could u get this many faint and clear line then nothing could my hcg be low as not sure when I'm due on

Hi everyone. I’m currently 2DPO. Only cycle number 2. Feeling way better this cycle though, we found cycle one quite stressful with everything being new but we’ve taken the pressure off a bit now and we’re just going with the flow. Managed to DTD every other day during my fertile window. And we’re trying to just aim for every 3 days until AF is due.

@Piglet34 sorry to hear AF has come!! I hope you’re doing well!!

@FR49 weirdly I had that the cycle before last and had never had it before! Made me think it might be the month but then AF came. I didn't have it the cycle just gone so no idea what it was aha, I think it might of been connected to taking Pregnacare conception as it was also accompanied by random spotting from ovulation to AF which some reviews also said. Switched to seven seas this month and seems to be a lot better for me!

Hey everyone! I'm on cycle 2 TTC!
I'm currently 3 days late for my period but this usually happens to me so I'm not going to test yet 🙃

But has anyone been getting ovulation pain and period cramps at the same time? It's weird! One moment I feel pinches and twinges in my tummy, and the next moment I feel period cramps like I'm actually about to start. It's been like this for days lol.

Hiya can I join? Am TTC #1, currently in TWW of cycle #1. Lots of tests etc going on at the moment which is all v confusing (I have just been diagnosed with PCOS).

I am about 9/10dpo and going crazy!!! It's totally consuming me day to day, if I hear one more person say 'you need to relax and it will happen' I will loose my mind 😅

Typical, I saw the GP yesterday as still no AF and they book me in for a blood test, then this morning I get spotting!! Lol

Although not really any PMS symptoms though and no cramps yet, waiting for it to get heavier but definitely spotting at least
