Anyone else TTC #1? Just looking for TTC buddies!

@kalixxx ooh nice, hopefully you get your peak soon ☺️ I'm feeling okay, tried quite a few new things this month (SMEP, pre seed, new vitamins) so intrigued to see if they did anything haha. Yeah it's tricky with the Xmas baby thing, I think if I happen to be ovulating and we want to BD then we wouldn't use protection. But just not trying so hard as other months!

@Piglet34 yeah but AF came full force last night. So will proper test for ovulation the day after AF due to possibly ovulating earlier as my cycle is around 30-33 days I wanna catch my peak this month!

hope your TWW isn’t going by so slow. During my TWW I’ve told my partner he has to take the pregnancy tests and hide them so I don’t get tempted early lol.

@Nmmck93 I've never done ovulation tests near when my period is due so not sure, have you done a pregnancy test? I wouldn't say 0.54 is super high even though the app says that. I sometimes get readings like that randomly when it's not my peak. I think it's normal for LH to fluctuate a bit during the month.

I agree about the Xmas babies and that they could come early or late anyway. The only reason I might skip is because we've only been trying a few months so far, otherwise I definitely wouldn't!

Hi everyone :) still waiting for my peak on CD16 but still time! Never tried using a fertility cup, this is my first time using ovulation strips too.

There was a thread about Christmas babies over past couple days @Piglet34. Based on predictions my due date would be Dec 28th if conceived next month. Personally I don't think I'll stop, chances are so low for me medically and babies are so rarely on time. I could conceive now and get a Nov 30th ish due date that hangs in there until 2 weeks overdue or get successful month after for a end of jan baby that comes at 36 weeks! 2 friends of mine had recently had babies at 35+6 and 37+2. Make plans and babies go haha screw you 😂

Hey @kalixxx ! Yeah I agree the lead up to ovulation you can kind of go back to normal life and not really think about TTC. It's quite nice!

I'm on CD18 now and 4dpo, time really dragging already but going to wait until Sunday to test I think depending on how I feel! I haven't tried the fertility cup but did use my mooncup for the same purpose the cycle before this. Maybe will try that next cycle if AF shows!

I think I won't try next month if this one is unsuccessful as due date would by Xmas eve! Which is annoying as another two months waiting to try again. Anyone else thinking they wouldn't want a Christmas bday? know you can't really predict it anyway and I wouldn't mind early December but xmas eve wouldn't be ideal! 😅

has anyone ever had a high ovulation test reading on the day AF is due.
I just done one this morning and the reading on my pre mom app is high.

but I’m with you, my partners mum can’t keep anything quiet, but luckily my partner wouldn’t say to a soul anyways and we are also going to keep everything to ourselves and enjoy our own bubble before telling family and friends!

@Nmmck93 similar situation here, just a couple years older! We've not told anyone about ttc. Medically unlikely to work, bad relationship with my parents and other relatives would just tell them. Even if we did get a little miracle, we would be keeping it to ourselves for as long as possible!

But I also don’t want to tell people, I’m 29 and the amount of people that constantly ask me about having a baby, I’ve been ready for years, but kept putting it off due to endo and PCOS but my partner and I are bother ready to just put our worries aside, 5 years, engaged and bought our first house! But there’s so much more comfort in talking to others on forums who are trying! Keep updated with your TWW! 🤞🏻

@Nmmck93 I do mine with FMU too as it's just easy to remember and I seem to get accurate readings then anyway. Then on the day that the FMU reading is higher I will do another's around late lunchtime. I attached my one from this cycle and you can see I did two yday to catch the peak :)

Also, what time of day do you guys find you get a more accurate reading on Ovulation Tests?
i’ve read some doing first pee of the morning, others say the second pee of the day with minimal fluids from waking up? 🙈

@Piglet34 thank you, I might try that Fertility Friend app and use pre mom to upload my tests. I would try anything. Last month we done the ‘baby dance’ as I call it outside of ovulation (we thought it was ovulation day but tests should negatives) but sure we all have to have fun but this month I’m being more cautious with testing more. I think BBT will stress me out also but I’ll try it and see! oooh good luck with this TWW and hope all works out for you x

@Nmmck93 I use two apps as I don't really like Premom for general cycle tracking, so I use that literally just to scan the ovulation tests. I then use fertility friend for my main tracking but don't do BBT as it stressed me out too much 😅 this is my first cycle trying and it's ovulation day for me so we'll see how this TWW goes!

Thank you so much! i have the Premom app downloaded also, have the FLO app and also another. I think I need to chose one app to stick to it just. Premom seems better as I can uploaded my ovulation tests to it.

@FlyingHighFlyingLow I'm the same! Seem to alternate between 28 and 32 days and then will ovulate on a different day depending on the cycle length as my luteal phase is mostly 14 days long.

@Nmmck93 of course! Welcome to the thread :) I would suggest starting on CD8 maybe and then continuing until you see the peak go down :) will you be using Premom to track? I actually started from CD8 this month too. Good luck with this cycle! X

I hope you don’t mind me posting, I’ve just joined the forum.
March is the first month I’m going to proper TTC with ovulation tests & BBT etc.
last month I was trying to figure out when I ovulated to help with March and I was following an app that determined I was to ovulate on a certain day but when I had done my ovulation dip test it was negative.
my cycle length is around 26 - 30 days. So honestly I’m unsure when to track ovulation.
would the day after my period and continue for like 2 weeks be too obsessive? I feel clueless and would welcome any advice whatsoever.

my next period is due in 4 days and usually lasts 4/5 days.

(also must state I do suffer with endometriosis, I’ve had two surgeries, last one being around 9 years ago but in the last few months have had the odd flare up)

sorry for bombarding with information, just someone who wants what all of us do! 💜

@Piglet34 thats reassuring, thank you! Never tracked before to know for sure but I have an irregular cycle post-mirena (came out Jan 2021 and never went back to normal). It went through a period of alternating between 28 and 32 days at one point, usually somewhere between the two but have had the odd 25/26 or 35 day cycle so who knows!

@FlyingHighFlyingLow hmm that's strange, although I think completely normal as I also had the same on another cycle. I've attached a picture and you can see it goes right down before then peaking :) also you are still quite early on cycle days, what day do you usually ovulate ?
