@dormicumema i feel exactly like you. I’ve convinced myself that I’m infertile. I tried chatting to my sister about it and she was so lovely and reassuring but you just know they don’t get it because they’ve not been through it. I’m 32 in a few weeks, so is my husband. I also naively thought I’d get pregnant first time. It’s so weird having spent all my adult life trying not to get pregnant and then realising it’s not actually that easy. I felt like I was going back to GCSE biology learning all about my cycle again 😂 I’ve been using OPK on and off since Sept last year. Had a break Nov/Dec/Jan and then restarted since Feb. I tried starting BBT this month but I’m not sure I’m doing it right. I have had temp rise after suspected ovulation but it’s “Rocky Mountains” shape and my app tells me that’s wrong 😂 so I’m not sure how accurate it is. I have kept an eye on CM here and there but to be honest I forget to check and it seems to fluctuate. I find when I get a pos OPK I usually then notice EWCM. I just feel like it’s so much to think about and I find myself feeling a bit overwhelmed.

@kalixxx so sorry to hear about your BFN. It’s so disheartening isn’t it. It’s good to connect though, definitely makes me feel less alone. I’m going to try and hold out and avoid testing until I’m late which would be 1st May.

because there’s something going on in my abdomen I don’t see this month being my month but just not going to loose hope just yet until AF shows up!

Welcome @Bluebell0921 :) I'm currently in fertility week of cycle 6 ttc, have been monitoring for 3 cycles with opks and this is second one with bbt. Feel you sister :) lonely, heartbreaking when you realise AF is on the way. I'm 28, hubby 35,we are healthy, in healthy BMI, regular periods, never used any birth control pills or coils for protection. I always thought it would happen right away, but also when it didn't the first cycle I started to panic inside my head and binge watched infertility journeys on YouTube 🙈

Hello all! Just been reading all your comments and would like to join in. I’m cycle 5 of TTC #1. Currently in the dreaded TWW. 8 DPO. Ovulated late this month so expecting AF to be late anyway. I go through real ups and downs with it all. My best friend got pregnant by accident last year after 1 time having unprotected sex and my sister has easily got pregnant. None of my other friends have children or are close to trying so I can feel a bit isolated sometimes. I know up to a year is completely normal but it feels so long when the only people you know have fallen so easily.

@kalixxx pretty sure AF is on her way and I did a FRER tonight because I’d just had pink spotting instead of normal red blood when AF starts and it was negative. So that’s me out for this month.

Trying to relax because I know it takes time but we have quite a small window to conceive due to my employment set up (just a few months really) so it’s hard not to stress. I was pretty sure we timed dtd well this month.

@kalixxx I'm trying to hold out to see if it passes tonight; my cousin is a nurse and said it sounds like bad constipation and something tore like tissue. So just hoping she's right.
Having a lot of period like cramps but only 3DPO.

Today is AF due date, around 13 dpo I think and just had some pink discharge when I went to the loo, so I think that’s me out for this month 😔

Was starting to feel a bit hopeful past 2 days because I’d been having some cramping which I never do before my period. Oh well, we go again!

ive already asked in general health but I have been down a rabbit hole in google and some people have said they had this in pregnancy - now I’m only around 3dpo.

last night I was so badly constipated; I squeezed so hard to dry go but only got little droppings, then at 4am I was having cold sweats, nausea, faint and severe stomach pains and bout of diarrhoea- this morning at 9am I have diarrhoea and blood 2/3 times. A lot of people have said it could be a stomach bug, others are telling me to go straight to hospital; anyone ever had anything like this?

@Nmmck93 It is, I tested again last night and it was even darker! You can see my tests have been all over the place, going super low, starting to rise then dropping again which is why I got the Macaroot to try to steady it out, my apps also said I was 2 dpo yesterday but clearly not so it's worth retesting for sure!

@BexTTC is that your first surge this month? I’m having pains round my ovaries but suppose to be 2DPO I didn’t O test today but yesterdays was proper negative. It’s so confusing. I think I’ll order that for next month if this month isn’t my BFP & introduce BBT.

@Tempeliz I'll keep everything crossed for you! Its so hard not to symptom spot as it does drive you crazy but I think it can't be helped

@BexTTC going to test tomorrow if there’s no sign of AF before then (it’s due tomorrow). Have been cramping a lot which wouldn’t be normal for me pre-period but it could be mostly in my head. It’s so hard to know.

@Nmmck93 My Macaroot turned up this morning, I've taken one and within an hour I had slight cramping (probably coincidence) but look at todays OPK, it's go time! 🙈

I’m around 11 dpo at the moment I think. AF is due day after tomorrow. Have been having some cramping and sore boobs but that could well just be PMS. I haven’t tested yet but will do if AF doesn’t arrive on Sunday. I don’t have high hopes tbh!

who decided to make pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms the same - feels like a cruel joke 😵‍💫
