no, we decided not to put our savings towards help, would have been extra painful had it not worked and we were left without enough money to treat the kids we do have.

i dont really have any symptoms, sore boobs and odd taste in mouth but if i hadnt tested id quite easily not think im pregnant. really hope it sticks.

we have decided to book an early scan around the 9 week mark, never had one before so im looking forward to that

how are you doing?

Hi @mynewname25 and congrats!! Do you have any idea of the cause of it taking longer? We have been TTC 2 years in April, I just don’t see it ever happening x

not a clue, all i can think is my age?

32 first DC
34 second DC

il be 39 for third (hopefu, all being well)

nothing different health wise or lifestyle etc.

it was very difficult and id kinda gave up to a certain extent so getting a bfp was a bit of a shock.

i hope you get success soon @Anonbaby

I have two DD aged 5 and 3. TTC no. 3 for over 2yrs with a MC Oct 2021. Got BFP on Tuesday!! so excited and also scared it doesnt stick.

age gap wasnt what i wanted, but unfortunately cant plan these things and im a big believer in everything happening for a reason :-)

Yes me! I have two dcs 3 and 1. I would love a third. I’m Breastfeeding and I had my first “normal” cycle last month. Currently CD3.

I've just got my bfp with #3
Have a 10 yo & almost 7 yo already so big age gap this time.
I am so happy to be getting back into it.

@LeeCee aaah sorry you are having a hard time conceiving, this worry me too as my two were both conceived first try! Have you tested again? Could it be that you have ovulated later than you thought?

Joining a TTC no. 3 here my girls are 4 and 2 (20 months between them) fell pregnant so so easily with both but have been trying 5 months now with no luck so far. I am 40 so I guess it's bound to be harder? But I was 35 when I started so not a huge difference. My cycle is all over the place I'm on CD32 at the moment and no sign of AF had the tiniest squinter of a line this morning but I'm 15 DPO so it should be stronger if this was our month. Think we'll get fertility tests started soon

Sorry ladies I've not tested since that last one and I'm now 3 days late for my period. Going to get some tests later on today... I don't know what to feel!

Well I think fate is telling me something. I did a test this morning as I've been feeling a bit "off" and had what felt like implantation cramps 4 days ago. Got a faint line, although I'm 5 days before my period is due. Welppppppppp!

We spoke about TTC a 3rd within the next year. However it was still a little in the air as in "we'd need a bigger car" "how would be manage" "what about money" etc..

My period was late this month and honestly thought we were getting a surprise. Truly upset that AF arrived. Its made me realise how much I'm not done having babies. My DP however is still seeing all the practical questions (rightly so)

I'm so desperate for a 3rd. I wasn't ready for my last baby to actually be my last.

I have also wondered how we will navigate the (even more) chaotic days, especially as me and DH will be technically outnumbered 😂 but I am just so hopeful and excited too xx

Yes we are going to TTC #3 in the next few months (from April we think). We have DD 10 and DS 2. I definitely feel you re the chaotic days, but as DD is older, we will have different types of chaos depending on who wants to have a meltdown that day 😂 But, overall, just feel excited more than anything!
Following with interest and nice to see other people in the same position!

If I conceived somewhere between May - November I would have a just 4 year old and 2.5 year old. But you just never know how quick it's going to happen! If we knew it would make these decisions a lot easier wouldn't it?

I am also scared of the chaos, I feel like currently some days are hard others are easy. So I'm not sure how adding a third into the mix would make it!

I've just fallen pregnant for the 2nd time with a 3rd. I had a miscarriage in sept from a shock pregnancy & it actually made us realise we really did want it. Was lucky enough to fall pregnant again on our 2nd cycle, so nervous though I just hope this one sticks! We have dd6 and ds3.
