So I'm back! After a chemical pregnancy last February and multiple indent/ evap disappointments.

I'm around 10dpo and have been cramping for a few days.
Today at lunchtime I noticed some brown discharge so I did a 3 hour hold and tested with a sensitive cheapy test and this has shown up!!

What do you think? Line eye? Indent? BFP?

It is pink in person and showed up in 3 minutes.

I'll test again with fmu tomorrow but I know I'll be torturing myself all night now 🙈🙈😂

So sorry to hear that @tryingnottotry ❤️ has AF turned up?

timetosave · 13/01/2023 16:43

@tryingnottotry really sorry to hear that OP, sending hugsFlowers

TheShellBeach · 13/01/2023 11:56

I'm so sorry, OP.
It's very distressing when this happens.

tryingnottotry · 13/01/2023 09:50

Just a quick update for anyone reading this thread in the future:

The tests have now started getting lighter so another chemical pregnancy is expected.

I've had 2 pregnancies a year apart and both ended this way - I wonder if it's an age related genetics thing 😔

@Jsh125
Yes the bottom is from 11am this morning.
I think the thing that is worrying me is how slowly the darkening has happened. The first test was taken Monday afternoon.

Jsh125 · 12/01/2023 11:55

If the bottom test in your pic is the one you've just done then that's much darker than the first one, no squinting to see it or anything. And they all look like my first tests I've ever taken.

Fingers crossed all is fine, it's so easy to say don't worry but it's also impossible to actually do that. The anxiety of waiting to see how things turn out can be unbearable so be kind to yourself, at the moment it all looks good.

timetosave · 12/01/2023 11:46

@tryingnottotry of course, hoping all the best for you, keep us posted if you wish🤞🏼

tryingnottotry · 12/01/2023 11:44

@timetosave
That's true. If you compare this latest test to Tuesdays it is darker but just not as dark as I'd expect I guess.

Thank you for your support and kindness 🙂

@tryingnottotry that's a much better idea than all this we go through, I can't help but test either I get totally consumed by it! I've heard people can have a stronger HCG level at night in early pregnancy, the fact it's getting darker is promising & remember to only compare ones that are 2 days apart really since HCG doubles ever 48 hours, or near enough

tryingnottotry · 12/01/2023 11:13

@timetosave

Early testing - Why do we do it to ourselves!! 🙈 it would be a lot simpler if we'd just evolved with a little light that turns on when we are pregnant or something 😂.

I'm so confused.
Last nights bedtime test was the strongest yet, this morning was barely there and now my third per of the day has shown up another good line - but the progression just isn't there 😔.

@tryingnottotry so sorry OP I really hope it's not, TTC is a really hard road sometimesFlowers

tryingnottotry · 12/01/2023 09:55

@timetosave thank you.
I'm presuming it's going to be another chemical unfortunately. So disappointing a it's taken 11 months to get this far!!

Hi OP, I don't mean to get you down & those tests are definitely positive but the progression doesn't look as it should in my experience. With my chemical I was a week late & like you I tested every day, the test got almost as dark as the control but quickly started getting much lighter & AF arrived a week later. Hoping it's a different outcome for you🤞🏼

MushroomQueen · 12/01/2023 09:20

Definitely looks positive

Redebs · 12/01/2023 07:35

So sorry, but it looks negative to me. These tests are usually pretty obvious if positive.

tryingnottotry · 12/01/2023 07:26

@Tryingfornumbertwo2
Not until Sunday. My last chemical didn't show up until 13dpo and bleeding started 2 days after AF was due. I'm hoping that because it's showed up earlier this time it's a good sign 🤞

Tryingfornumbertwo2 · 12/01/2023 06:11

Yeah I’m with you there, sometimes it’s better to brace yourself for what’s to come rather than get excited and it all fall apart.

Especially when you have been through it quite a bit. Also, some people want to make sure there is a blazing line before they stop.

Fingers crossed for you, when is AF due?

tryingnottotry · 11/01/2023 20:39

@stillvicarinatutu

Thank you for your advice.
The reason i am testing day on day is because my last pregnancy (a year ago) ended in a chemical which I was able to track by testing hcg levels each day and seeing them dropping off.

This is why I am tracking the line progression this time!

I'd just rather have a heads up if it is going to end in another chemical.

stillvicarinatutu · 11/01/2023 20:28

My advice - get another frer and wait a few days .
Test once - then leave it

All those look positive to me .
But don't keep testing - you either are or you aren't .

Test the day your period before a due . If it's + that's that ! Call gp and get referrals for booking in

I don't get why people test day on day on day when they've had a + test.

I can definitely see the second line on all those tests and normally I can't do squinters they aren't !

Leave it a few days - test again - then stop !!!

tryingnottotry · 11/01/2023 20:14

Well I caved and tested again (3 hour hold) tonight and wish I hadn't as it is lighter than yesterdays pm test 🤦‍♀️

@Tryingfornumbertwo2

I've got one left that I'll probably try tomorrow or Friday x

OP posts:
Tryingfornumbertwo2 · 11/01/2023 15:35

Have you tried another FRER?

TheShellBeach · 11/01/2023 11:35

Don't worry. CBD don't pick up enough HCG to show a positive result yet.

Give it another week and the CBD will be positive (as long as the FRERs' lines are getting darker, too).
