Hi All.

This is a continuation from my past thread, but no need to go read that one if you're new here!

Quick TD;LR from the old post (but with up to date info) - I'm 31, OH is 35. We are TTC baby #1. Been TTC since Jan 2022, now on cycle 14. Haven't told anyone to avoid pressure.

Feel free to post any questions, thoughts, whinges, celebrations, basically anything here!

Going to try to be a bit more positive than I was toward the end of the last thread 😂

Love & baby dust to all. Wishing for BFPs for everyone this year 💖

Hey ladies,

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/results-by-day-past-ovulation.php This is a really good website to look at stats of pos/negs by dpo. I’ve only looked at it this month but it’s kept me calm!

Rockyslife · 25/01/2023 15:34

I just see so many people testing at like 9dpo and thats why im thinking surely it would show by now, i feel like a flow is coming. Let me know how you get on x

Feliciacat · 25/01/2023 15:03

@Rockyslife I reckon it’s too early to test positive now, surely? Do it again on Sunday (you’re the testing quadruplet)! I hope it’s positive xx

Rockyslife · 25/01/2023 14:40

Exactly the same situation as me, due on sun, took at test as sore nipples all week, stark white.. :(

NervousNoo · 25/01/2023 14:31

@Feliciacat Not at all insensitive, it's exactly the outlook you should have!
I'm telling myself that there could be so many factors and that the next month might just be our month. My mum was still having babies at 42 so genetics are in my favour haha. I only just had my coil out in August so could argue that it may have taken a few months for things to settle although my period and ovulation were regular again from the minute it was out. Just going to keep doing what we need to on our end and can't say that's a hardship 😂Our time will come!

Feliciacat · 25/01/2023 14:02

@NervousNoo oh I see! I’m so sorry if I was insensitive there; I’m only on cycle 1 so I have beginner’s optimism. I’m going to be 36 myself this year so yes, 6 cycles of trying is the perfect time to get tests done to check everything.

NervousNoo · 25/01/2023 13:56

@Feliciacat @newjourney21 I try and be so rational, tell myself another month is another chance, that we'll get the baby we're meant to have etc. But also with every negative after doing everything we need to at the right times (this is cycle 6 for us) I find myself questioning what's wrong even though I know there might be nothing wrong at all. Is it my age? Is it because I ovulate on the early side? Are my hormones just not playing ball? Are his swimmers ok?
I drive myself mad! Wish I was so cool and collected about it all and could just take it as it comes bit my goodness that's such a big ask 😂

Given that this is our 6th cycle and I'm 36 if the test is neg at 14DPO I'm going to see my GP just for an initial chat and to see if they'll at least refer me for some initial testing or bloods. Need to take back a bit of control if I can, knowledge is power and all that!

Feliciacat · 25/01/2023 13:40

@NervousNoo @newjourney21 love testing triplets!

Yes, if it’s not positive then I’d wonder what additional things could be causing that if I dtd at the right time; that’s exactly it. Anyway, best of luck to you, my two other musketeers. I guess if we have to try again next month; a month isn’t that long, right? Xx

NervousNoo · 25/01/2023 13:37

@newjourney21 @Feliciacat Testing triplets! I'm 10 DPO today and despite saying I wouldn't test early this month I broke and took a test this morning. Of course it was negative. Just want to test daily but I'll drive myself mad so also going to hold out and not test again til Sunday at 14DPO. If that's negative I'll be counting myself out this month.
Fingers crossed for you both! Xx

newjourney21 · 25/01/2023 13:26

Hi @Feliciacat! Oh wow hopefully we both get that BFP. I feel exactly the same, super anxious about it after a BFN this morning even tho I know it's still early. Feel like we dtd at the right times this month too and keep thinking if AF comes I will be very worried why it didn't happen for us ☹️ but trying me best to stay positive and I know it'll happen when it's right for us. Fingers crossed for you too xx

Feliciacat · 25/01/2023 13:20

@newjourney21 hello! We are testing twins cos I will be 14dpo on Sunday. I was initially so excited but now I’m feeling dread; what if it doesn’t work? How long will that go on for? It is actually a worrying time indeed! Fingers crossed for you my dear xx

newjourney21 · 25/01/2023 13:00

Hi all, I am going a bit crazy in the tww! Was hoping to vent here! I am 10 or 11dpo today with AF due on Sunday. I took a cheap LH test this morning which was stark white. I really want to try and wait until Sunday to test again (if AF doesn't arrive) but I also want to go and buy FRER to do in the morning!! This tww is honestly awful 🙁

BeeLieve86 · 25/01/2023 10:27

Got my peak ovulation test this morning, having woken up with the worlds worst headache and a high temperature. Sex with the flu yay 🤣😩 xx

Chanteuse · 25/01/2023 07:24

Morning all,

9dpo today and have had a vfl on a Premom cheapie. Going to get some FRERs after work before I get my hopes up!

TinyDancer91 · 24/01/2023 21:22

Welcome @NervousNoo! And we'll done for gathering the courage to post! There will be no stopping you now, once you open the door just a little, it will be more like opening the floodgates! 😂

Feel free to post about anything on here, everyone is welcome to share whatever they need to and we won't judge 💕

OH has an appointment for a semen analysis on 3rd feb, so glad we won't be in the fertile window then as he can't DTD for 2-3 days before!

At least we will know by then if this is our month or not too. AF is due around 1st.

Hi all,
Been lurking for a while but only just worked up to posting today. Partner and I are TTC our first, this is cycle 6 for us. I'm on CD20, 9DPO (I ovulate early and hoping this will be ok as right on the cusp of "normal").
The TWWs are so brutal, such a lonely time when you're limited on who you can talk to without folk knowing you're trying! These chats are helping keep me sane but only just 😂
Huge congrats to those that have had their BFPs, much love and luck to those still trying. Xx

IsLarryFromSomething · 24/01/2023 19:02

TinyDancer91 · 24/01/2023 09:51

@IsLarryFromSomething I'd imagine it's probably normal if you had cramps before then. I know hormones suck 😂

If they carry on for too much longer or if you are worried, try speaking to your GP, see what they say.

Have you had a withdrawal bleed yet?

Thanks!

Yes I have had a withdrawal bleed, so I'm looking for my period in a week or so.

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 24/01/2023 10:58

CD 10 for me today! I usually ovulate around CD 17/18 so hoping to BD on CD12, 14, 16,17 and 18 as i go away from DH CD19! Praying this is our month!!

TinyDancer91 · 24/01/2023 09:56

@Yolo23 AF is crappy enough without a cold! Hope you're feeling better soon!!

I am 8dpo today. Feeling very tired and very gassy today! Like I said, trying not to symptom spot as I know realistically it's too early for any anyway! Did have some unusual twinges around my left hip yesterday evening which has sent my brain into overdrive!

OH has an appointment with the GP today so we'll see how that goes!

Hello everyone!

Cycle day 2 today 😂 and I’ve a banging cold - feels so much worse when you’re on AF! Works going to be so much fun… 🤓

age 30, TTC first, endo confirmed but op to remove seems to have been successful, TTC since July 2022 officially (plus around a year or more pre op in 2019)

IsLarryFromSomething · 24/01/2023 05:44

TinyDancer91 · 24/01/2023 01:05

@IsLarryFromSomething how long after coming off are you talking? Since coming off the pill I get cramps when AF is due but didn't really before going on the pill. I was on it for about 12 years and didn't bleed at all while taking it, so it was all a bit of a shock to the system when I stopped 😂

About 3 weeks. Before I was on it I had terrible cramps when I was on my period but this feels different. Hormones huh 😂

TinyDancer91 · 24/01/2023 01:07

How is everyone doing? I'm currently half way through the TWW and had to go for my day 21 bloods today (again! There was a 'lab error' last time).

Still trying not to symptom spot but always wondering and hoping that this will be the one.

Love & baby dust to all 💕

Did anyone have cramping coming off the pill? I don't think I should be due my period for another week or so, unless my cycles have become shorter (hard to tell after so long on birth control!).
