Kay I had the same thing when I was pregnant with DS2, DS1 would still roughly 4-5 a week come into our bed, (can you see why I was so happy when the CC worked with DS2?!) Anyway, we found that the sheer size of me put DS1 off coming into the bed, he said he didn't have enough room! So that stopped that, and I don't think there has ever been a time where DS2 either kept DS1 awake or DS2 has woken DS1 up. DS1 has woken DS2 many a time though!

I think the sleepless nights and everything is dealt with by hormones durring the pregnancy and birth and after. I know if I woke up every 2 hours now for half an hour I would feel like shit, but at the time, you just get on with it. Plus the sleepless nights don't last that long in comparison.

kayzisbroody · 14/02/2008 08:20

NatalieJane · 14/02/2008 08:19

LOL "Dunno where flowers came from"

DH bought me in a single red rose, sounds stingey just one, but when we first got together, he was still living up north and I was down south, he had a single red rose delivered to the hairdressers where I worked every week, and then when we moved in together (6 weeks later!) he stopped sending them and started buying a dozen, or two dozen of them, and I have always moaned at him saying I don't want 12 or 24 I want one again LOL So this is the first time he has done the single rose thing again He also managed to get my bottle of liquer which will be open probably before I go to get DS1, it is sat there looking and winking at me, don't know how much longer I can resist...!!

Funny thing was DH said he had met one of his engineers at a job to help him out, and this engineer asked DH what he'd got 'the missus' for Valentines day, so DH explained he'd got this bottle of stuff for me, and how difficult it is to get hold of in England, and the bar manager pulled out a bottle and said, "is this it?" and it was!! So poor DH has sweated blood and tears, and a bank loan for this stuff when the bar manager has had it all along and he said he'd have let him have at cost price! Oh well, at least he know's where he can get from now Just a shame the place was over 200 miles away!!!

Right must get on....!

Teuch · 14/02/2008 08:09

I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes...

Hope you are all having/planning a nice and romantic day

NJ, that is very sweet of DS. I have lovely flowers that DH got but signed from DS...DS was saying "I loe you, mummy. Mummy pretty, mummy. Got you flowers, mummy. Dunno where flowers came from , mummy. Must be magic Mummy!!"

Morning all Happy Velentines Day, love from ? xxx

I don't think I have ever said that to a bunch of laydees before

So DS1's toothfairy came and left him 2 pound coins (couldn't find a £2 coin!) so he got up (at 5.40! ) came running into our room to tell us, then went running dowstairs, when I came down he gave me his valentines card that he made, wrapped in an envelope he made to go round it, I opened it up and a pound coin fell out, he has only put his tooth money in with my and DS2's card Bless his little heart And then we were sat talking for a while and I said c'mon I better start doing your packed lunch, and he said "No mum, I'll have school dinners today so you don't have to do my lunch" Gotta love 'em

Diege, hope DD3 feels better
And I hope you feel a bit better once up and about properly Kay

Right have to go and get ready, I might not be about so much today, got to get ready for tonight, I am going to be tarted up from head to toe, gonna take me agessssss, should have started last week.....!!!

See you all in a bit xxx

kayzisbroody · 14/02/2008 07:19

Good Morning all, I feel awful today, ds woke up in the middle of the night for the first time since he was 4 months old. I'm exhausted and I'm working 9-6 today .
Have a good day everyone.

Diege · 14/02/2008 06:48

Morning everyone , and welcome to POPCORN . Everyone here (as you know already)is lovely and friendly, and very chatty . It seems years ago scanning back, but re: the ovulation pain I do get it occasionally - like a dragging crampling rather than a sharp pain, usually in my left hand side and accompanied by lots of EWM (apologies if anyone's having breakfast ).
Will do my best to 'keep up' today, although we're out at the cinema watching 'Penelope' (fingers crossed). I say fingers crossed because dd3 have been throwing up all night, and a tiny bit this morning, so assessing the situation regarding palming her off at nursery .
Speak later!

kayzisbroody · 13/02/2008 21:08

Thank you all for a lovely evening my shift has now finished and i am off to steel dp dinner...

Bye bye have a nice evening.

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/02/2008 19:50

Hi Kay, I know what you mean about wanting a large house. Both DH and I grew up in 5 bed houses and we know there is just no way we are going to be able to provide that for our kids, not even sure how the hell we will ever be able to buy. Nevermind, we rent a nice 3 bed at the moment and although the lounge is quite small there is a lovely large kitchen diner which is the room everyone hangs out in. Plenty of time to worry about buying I suppose.

kayzisbroody · 13/02/2008 19:10

Hi all, am at mums, ds is crawling around everywhere I wish I had a big house so he could crawl around

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/02/2008 19:05

Right DH has gone hunter gathering to the curry house and I am on a mission to put beers in the freezer my "diet" that I am not on but really should be is just not happening!!! Be back later

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/02/2008 18:51

Nah, he's ok, he knows all about MN and I would never say anything nasty about him cos there is nothing nasty to say!! He is lovely

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 18:48

LOL Playing, we won't mention that thing you said about him earlier then

DS2 doesn't even know what a spoon is...! LOL

lardylumps · 13/02/2008 18:47

Good job you only said nice things about dh or there could be fireworks right about now...

lardylumps · 13/02/2008 18:45

I am eating my dinner with dd everyday as i start work at 4. But now i am starving again. It is not really such a good idea love mealtimes with her but am eating too much and will never lose my lardy lumps at this rate.

Got to boast if i may, although i have to put the food on her spoon she then picks the spoon up and puts it in her own mouth. Half of it falls off and so she picks it up and puts it on the spoon.....

She is so lovely...

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/02/2008 18:45

Maybe . My DH has just got home and is now reading all my post over my shoulder, cheeky bugger.

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 18:44
