DH doesn't even place a new one on top of the old one, he leaveS the very last square of the tissue (the one that is stuck to the cardboard thing) so that the next person who goes has to change it, and he can get away with saying he didn't use the last of it.

DS1 can and does change it FFS!

Good job I bloody love him innit?!!

Right I am off as well, just remembered DS1's spellings, that he has a test on tomorrow.... LOL

See you all tomorrow, have a good night xxx

Diege · 06/02/2008 17:56

NJ, how DID you train him to change a toilet roll? The best dh can manage is to put a new roll on top of loo when it seems like the present one is running out . One thing I have noticed is that if dh is particularly pissed off with me, the toilet seat doesn't get put down (sad eh), to which I always slam it down as loudly as possible! Oh the games we play .
See you tomorrow PLAYING!

G'night Playing

Playingthewaitinggame · 06/02/2008 17:51

Hi Guys, off home now. Will talk to you tomorrow, have a great evening!

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 17:46

LOL Diege, I have to say 'Thankyou' to DH if he does the polishing or something, just to stop him going on about it... I always say it with a smirk.

I remember the one time he did the bathroom "properly" (i.e. like how I do it!) he was so proud of it I noticed the next day he had wiped around after himself and had actually changed the toilet roll when he'd used the last of it and he put not only the toilet seat down, but the seat as well

I let DS1 do his teeth and get toothpaste all over the counter and sink, left the toothpaste out with out the lid on, left the shampoo on the edge of the bath with the lid open, and left the shower head dangling down the wall instead of putting it back on the holder thing. These are all things he does every morning, he went absolutely balistic at me and has never touched the bath room since! LOL

Diege · 06/02/2008 17:28

Mmm, that evening of galaxy, wine and TV sound great! I would go with that suggestion Kay if you still feel rough! for you over dh's question!!! Drives me mad when my dh asks this, though of course when HE does anything we all have to go and look and make admiring noises as he tells me that this is how it should be done.. .
HAPPYNAPPIES, I'm a sociologist who teaches social work students, and those doing social policy degrees . I do teach research methods at degree level, and post-grad too, but these particular essays that are causing me so much stress are A level sociology research methods papers . It's a little extra job I do for AQA exam board twice yearly - a killer, but the money pays for extras like holidays (and er,planned Isabella Oliver maternity wardrobe )

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 17:16

BeMyLilBaby · 06/02/2008 17:14

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 16:42

Oh thats a shame, I remember last year DH had booked time off, we were all looking forward to it, but then something came up at work and he had to go in, really pissed us all off.

Go and get your bath, dry your hair nice, paint your toenails, do your nails, sit and eat galaxy and watch relocation and grand designs Ooooo nearly forgot, don't forget the wine

kayzr · 06/02/2008 16:38

Im not going to do anything. I dont want to spend my entire week of work doing housework.
He was meant to be on holiday this week too but decided to work it instead, so he has been in my bad books all week

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 16:34

I'd have answered with "well I'm not doing anything all night either"

kayzr · 06/02/2008 16:32

I have told him. He just looked at me and said "You havent done anything all day"
Yes ds fed himself, changed his own nappy, walked himself over to shops. DH luch for tomorrow made itself.

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 16:28

Put DVD on for DS, tell DH you are having night off, and leave him to it.

If I tell DH I am having the evening off (doesn't happen very often, maybe once every couple of months) that means that no matter what, barring illnesses obviously, I am a totally kids/dh/cleaning/tidying up/cooking free zone

kayzr · 06/02/2008 16:17

dh has come home and ds has gone into naughty boy mode. Great peaceful evening has gone to pot

kayzr · 06/02/2008 15:04

How cute. The 2nd one when he falls over its so funny. Ds was laughing along with the babies

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 15:00

Classy find Kay

Have you all seen this? Sooooo sweet! Made me properly laugh out loud.

kayzr · 06/02/2008 14:55

Just been looking at moses baskets on ebay. We never had one with ds so why Im looking I'll never know.
Anyway I found this I think its awful, poor child will be feeling sick all the time

happynappies · 06/02/2008 14:48

Diege - I read some pages back (things move so quickly on here) that you're marking research methods essays, can I be nosy and ask what you teach?

kayzr · 06/02/2008 14:43

I might do that.
Just looked on ebay, you can get a years supply of folic acid for about £6!!

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 14:39

Well as soon as DH get's back, go to bed, infact have a nice bath first then get into bed, and get DH to do dinner

kayzr · 06/02/2008 14:35

Yeah normally has a sleep about 4ish. dh will come home from work about half 3 and tire him out so its not too bad

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 14:32

Bless him, will he go back off at some point today?

kayzr · 06/02/2008 14:31

I know it is. Ds is singing and blowing raspberries. Next big thing I think.

NatalieJane · 06/02/2008 14:26

Maybe sleeping is off the menu then?!

kayzr · 06/02/2008 14:22

ds has decided he can sing and is making a racket
