Diege, Its brilliant, it really makes you work and although its exhausting it makes you feel really good. I'm going to try and do it every other day and go to the gym at weekends or in the evening when dh is at home.
In the supermarket this morning someone asked me when I was due!!!
If that doesnt make me lose weight nothing will.
Bloody old people

Diege · 10/02/2008 11:53

NJ, I'd say leave it a few days, just to avoid disappointment .
We used to go to races every few weeks with dragon boat racing all around the country - could be that where you used to live was one of the annual races? The boats are like very long and wide canoes, with 22 paddlers (two rows), a drummer at the front, and a helm steering. Good spectator events to watch
Kay, that dvd is meant to be really good - I must say I do like that Colleen - I think she'[s very funny on Loose Women! . Hey bet us lot could give them a run for their money with our topics of chat!

kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 11:47

Cool Diege. I have the Rosemary Conley dvd with Coleen Nolan. I'm so tired after my long walk yesterday I feel like I need a nap. Back to excerising tomorrow. Going to the gym next weekend.
Dh has set up the wireless at last.

NatalieJane · 10/02/2008 11:46

LOL Diege, I am still holding out hope, when do you reckon I can test? CD8? CD9? LMAO, we are so cruel

Dragon boat racing, can't remember exactly what the difference to the boats was (except they were all 'dressed up, is that the difference?) but where I used to live they had yearly, (or maybe every other year?) dragon boat racing.

Diege · 10/02/2008 11:39

Gosh your implantation bleed is lasting a long time Natalie . TEUCH, you have an exercise bike in your house then?? Or a computer in the gym . I think the sunny weather has made me realise that if I don't get in shape soon-ish, I never will. The days when I taught aerobics (yes really, step and spinning), did cross-country runs and half marathons are a distant memory . I also have a gold medal in Europeans championships for dragon boat racing ; bet no-one'[s heard of that then! Seems another life (that's where I met dh) as I can't even get motivated to push the buttons on Amazon to buy the bloomin' Davina dvd !!
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, and makes the most of the lovely weather. Makes those important months coming up for some of us seem even closer!

kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 11:34

I knew there was a reason i wanted to know if I could use mn on my phone. Dh is trying to sort out the wireless so I cant use the internet. Its so unfair! We should start a waiting to ttc diet.

NatalieJane · 10/02/2008 11:33

Helloooooooooooooo

Hi and welcome to LL

I have a hangover And we didn't even have sex again last night (AF still hanging around....) And I've got to clean the bathroom today

But the weather is lovely and as soon as the bathroom is done we are outta here!

Well done you lot on the diet/exercise!!

Teuch · 10/02/2008 11:24

Teuch · 10/02/2008 10:55

OP posts:
schneebly · 10/02/2008 10:44

thanks for the welcome teuch! You lot are making me feel bad at lack of exercise and amount of chocolate consumed this week! I am about to vigorously hoover though and taking DS1 swimming later - not that I will actually do any swimming as I will be hanging on to him though!

Teuch · 10/02/2008 10:42

Diege · 10/02/2008 10:20

Morning everyone . Well you have inspired me with all this talk of gyms and bikinis, so am back on Slimming World after a few weeks off! I just feel so much healthier on it, probably due to the enforced fruit and veg, plus really like my carbs which are free foods on green days (except bread). We're looking round a house this afternoon, 4 beds, garden, close to the school etc - no doubt i will fall in love with it, so hope we get an offer on our's soon ! Speak later!

kayzisbroody · 09/02/2008 22:30

He he. How wierd i'm looking at mn on my mobile. God i'm bored

lardylumps · 09/02/2008 20:43

That is such a good idea. You will be a slim jim in no time.

kayzisbroody · 09/02/2008 20:34

They've just opened a new one at the high school here and you can either pay monthly or pay as you go, so if you cant go for a few weeks you aren't still paying

lardylumps · 09/02/2008 20:32

oh sorry and you will look fab in that bikini

lardylumps · 09/02/2008 20:32

Thats great I wish the gyms around here would do pay as you go they all seem to charge a joining fee plus monthly fee.

kayzisbroody · 09/02/2008 20:29

Woohoo me again!!
I got dh to ring the gym (I dont like talking to people I dont know on the phone)
The induction is £25 and then everytime you go its £4.50 as its a pay as you go.
Im gonna wear a bikini on holiday even if it kills me.

kayzisbroody · 09/02/2008 18:27

I'd love cows but unfortunatly(sp) I didnt win the euro millions last night. I had horses when I was younger.

lardylumps · 09/02/2008 17:18

Hello Teuch nice to meet you. You can call me what ever you like but sadly at the moment Lardy fits....

You must live in a very grand establishment if you have cows....

kayzisbroody · 09/02/2008 16:38

Hi Teuch, I feel quite good after my walk. I am determined to lose this bloody weight

Teuch · 09/02/2008 16:04

Welcome SChneebly and LL (I ain't calling you Lardy...no sirree!) and, may I say, Lulumama is a woman after my own heart -I been trying to coerce encourage these ladies to get on with it too

Sorry bout gerbil but well done on the big walk!! I have not made it out the house yet, but might go and put the cows in with DH & DS...

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 09/02/2008 16:02

Yeah I think I'm going to join the gym

lardylumps · 09/02/2008 15:57

Well at least you can look forward to wearing them this summer before getting preggers again....

kayzisbroody · 09/02/2008 15:47

I thought about doing that, but I know I'd probably be just as lazy as I have been this time round but with twice the weight.
I bought loads of new clothes for summer but then found out I was pg in june and I didnt get to wear any of them
