I couldnt have plastic surgery, it'd probably go wrong knowing my luck.
Dh would go along with anything I said, it means he gets to have some fun
As long as we can practice he says he doesn't care.

NatalieJane · 11/02/2008 09:49

Yeah but the schlebs have a lovely surgeon waiting as soon as they give birth/have a CS. It isn't real life at all.

Can't believe I have just said 'yeah but' again.... my standards are slipping!

Nothing weird about wanting a baby early next year, most of us on here are hoping for around then.

I would say stick to April/May in your head, and if he will just go along with it, then take no notice of him when he says he's changed his mind, just nod and make the right noises. I don't know what else to suggest.

kayzisbroody · 11/02/2008 09:40

I'd like to start in April/May. It might seem wierd but I dont want a baby this year I'd rather have one early next year. He would just go along with it, he isnt really bother when, we could start now and I dont think he would mind.

I'm not worried about being depressed again as I wasnt really that bad before more annoyed at all these celebs just getting back to their pre baby body with a few weeks.

NatalieJane · 11/02/2008 09:33

Thanks for not chewing my head off! I suppose you will be used to it all by now. So when exactly do you want to TTC? Would he just go along with it? Are you worried about being depressed again? Could you talk to your HV or GP about depression and see if there are any ways you can try to ward it off before it starts, to put your's and your DH's mind at rest, before you start TTC'ing?

Christmas babies are fun, but then when you have a birthday and christmas('s, for your DS1 and DC2) in the same month it is harder!

I think if I were you, from what you've said I'd decide on the right time for all of you and stick to it, let him change his mind but still stick to the time in mind, then when it comes to that time look at what he says then and take it from there.

kayzisbroody · 11/02/2008 08:51

He wants another baby as much as I do, he just doesn't care when, he was the same with ds I just decided when I wanted to ttc and he didnt care. He is just worried that I'll get depressed again when the weight doesnt just fall off within a few weeks like it has with most of my friends.
He just thinks a xmas baby will be fun.

He is extremely easy to put up with, he changes his mind all the time.

NatalieJane · 11/02/2008 08:39

Hiya BB, did you have a good weekend?

Kay, you're fella don't half chop and change his mind a lot, I thought it was a woman's perogative to change her mind....?!! Are you sure he does actually want another baby? (I don't mean that horribly at all) it is just he is going from waiting for months to starting next month in a couple of hours. If I were you and my DH was doing that, I think I'd have to sit him down once kids were in bed, turn telly off and get to the bottom of it once and for all. Decide if and when TTC would go ahead and stick to it. I couldn't handle all the stop/start you are going through at the moment! In fact I think I would be mightly pissed off with him if he had tried anything like it.

Time for shoes and coats See you all in a bit xxx

kayzisbroody · 11/02/2008 08:15

Glad your having a good morning NJ.
Guess what dh suggested we have a xmas baby so means ttc in March. I think he might be crazy but he is worried that I'll have another baby I'll have more baby weight to lose and I'll be sad!!
I'm not having a chocolate bar today! I promise

BeMyLilBaby · 11/02/2008 08:13

Morning all just spent mins catching up on your chat!! xx

NatalieJane · 11/02/2008 08:05

Good morning

Guess who got some (at last!!) last night DH has gone to work late because he couldn't move out of bed LOLOLOLOL

Kay I am sure you can change his mind sweetie, use your 'powers' to win him round Listen to Teuch, she knows what she's on about

Diege hun, you can call me hun, hun, when ever you want to hun, but just don't expect me to answer, hun LOL I think you and I were made from the same mould, hun

Well I am in a very good mood today, got some action in last night, got plenty of time to waste this morning on MN even before school, it is one cycle closer to when we can TTC, AF has gone, my cold of 4 weeks old is almost gone, and the sun is shining at just gone 8am, gonna be a good day today

kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 20:29

Exactly. I might have a bit of morning sickness or something but I'm finding it hard to wait as it is let alone til september.

Diege · 10/02/2008 20:28

Kay to dh's September plans. I'm sure you can persuade him otherwise!
NJ, hoped you would pick up on the hun thing . It's my personal mumsnet pet-hate [diege panics thinking NJ might for a minute have thought she wasn't using it in a sarcastic way ] (even more so than that 'baby dancing' and 'baby dust' thing ; sorry, being cruel again! .
Well, good intentions for the diet have been sabotaged by dh buying me a bar of fruit and nut . Tried to explain that it's like having alcohol in the house for alcoholics (or cigs for smokers) while cramming as much of it in my mouth as possible! .
Going to watch 'Monster in Law' at 9 on Channel 4 (or 5?) - supposed to be good - think it might touch a few nerves!

Teuch · 10/02/2008 20:26

waiting schwaiting, I say!!! You will have a lovely holiday whether you are ttc or early pg

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 20:17

Oh yeah DH thinks we should wait til september to ttc.
september!!!! May is far enough away. Apparently he has my best interests at heart as he wants me to have a good holiday!!

kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 20:01

I have never sold anything on eBay so it'll be a first. My stuff probably wont even sell.

NatalieJane · 10/02/2008 18:54

eBay, more trouble than it is worth, not work....! Tut.....

NatalieJane · 10/02/2008 18:54

Evening all

Diege, HUN?!!!!!!! Did you call me hun??????

Diege · 10/02/2008 18:26

Kay, I LOVE e-bay, though mainly sell now (kids clothes) after cutting back on the buying! Just waiting a few weeks until listing my summer stock!

kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 17:37

Glad you liked the house Diege.
I'm looking at the wonders of ebay to try and sell some of our clutter!

Diege · 10/02/2008 17:22

G&T . Your request for leave of absence has been noted, and permission provisionally granted pending confirmation from the 'committee' . Love the chicken coop, and all of your piccies! You are a beautiful family!
Yes, I'm doubtful too about those sperms, though there are several 'studies' that confirm my friend's theory! (and then lots that don't . Won't have to worry in a few months though!
Well, house we went to see was great - in need of much updating re: decor etc, but structurally perfect for us. A great garden too. And had dd2 constantly piping up 'are we buying it'?? at every opportunity! We will if we can sell ours!
Right, tea-time!

kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 16:00

Chicken coop is wonderful, LG&T I must say your Hugo has gorgeous hair in that picture, I wish my ds had hair like that. His is just a mess.

largeginandtonic · 10/02/2008 15:08

Think i am on cd30 somthing? I am not testing yet though, sure i only ovulated a week or so ago.

largeginandtonic · 10/02/2008 15:07

To Mrs NJ and Mrs Diege,

Could LG&T be excused from the erm...ttc (maybe at some point) thread for a couple of days. She has been busy making a chicken run, clearing the garage and ebaying the contents of her house.

Thank you

LG&T's mom.

Ok girls???

Now Shneebly nice to have you, your dc are indeed edible!

LL my ds is 8mths and i have been ttc since he was born but have been BF so no luck yet, First AF was on Jan 10th so am more hopeful now

Kayz my MIL does things like that for me, i love her. She buys the shopping and takes me out

Teuch i agree they are all a bunch of SLACKERS!!!

Now go and admire my lovely chicken coop that dh made.

Diege · 10/02/2008 14:59

Yes NJ, hun, CD-12 would be good, but remember, there are women who didn't get a BFP till at least 6 motnhs gone, so it ain't over till the old witch makes an appearance, hun . And yes, def big for the newcomers .
Off to view house (dds are determined we are moving in NOW)so catch up later.
LOL Kay at the need for watershed for our filthy mouths

kayzisbroody · 10/02/2008 12:08

They couldnt show Loose Women at lunch time if we were on it. It would have to be shown after 9pm.

NatalieJane · 10/02/2008 12:01

Oh yeah that's a good idea, I'll leave the test till CD12-ish, might have enough HCG to show a proper result by then. Don't know if I'll be able to hold out that long though....

(Just incase any of the recent joiners think I am being serious, I AM NOT! LOL Just a bit of a running joke Thought I'd better make it clear before I see a thread in conception titled "Can you get a BFP by CD8? I never thought you could, but a girl on my TTC thread thinks you can" )

I used to, or maybe that should be we used and hopefully soon-ish will be living in Bedford again. It was quite a big thing in the town. From the sounds of it, our paths have probably crossed before!

Can you imagine the complaints if we were all on Loose Women? LOLOLOL I don't think we'd ever be able to walk the streets again!

Well, I suppose I had better stop putting the bathroom off, if you never see me again you can assume I have been lost in there....
