Hi all!

I've been lurking for the last few weeks on here so thought I'd finally post and share my panics and line eyes!

Currently 9dpo (3rd cycle ttc), told myself I'd wait to 12dpo before testing but ofc I have fell at the first hurdle and have convinced myself I have a vvvfl. EDD would be 21st October - don't know why I do this to myself!

@Hankthehonk glad I'm not the only one driving themselves slightly spare with this! DH just doesn't get it, he looks at me slightly baffled and says something well meaning but totally unhelpful like "just don't think about it and test once your period is late"! Then I glare at him and he retreats to his study in shame. I also had really tender boobs before but again not until week 5, then I couldn't even do stairs without crossing my arms. Had a few twinges on one and keep checking, but think that is actually making them more sore!
@JJ2023 thank you, I've also had twinges so keeping everything crossed that it's implantation too!

@JJ2023 Thank you for your message, it is good to hear that you had such similar symptoms! My toddler woke up at 4am and when I got up to see to her I realised I had the back pains, then struggled to get back to sleep because of them. It was still there this morning but much reduced, I might not have noticed it if she hadn't woken me in the night! Guess I should be grateful...
Congratulations on your BFP, hope you are keeping well and the tiredness isn't too terrible.

Just starting my TWW. Due date would be 30th Oct so I've just snuck in to this thread 😂. TTC#2, first took 12 months to get my BFP so trying not to get too excited. I'm going to test end of next weekend.

@Jealousofchiliheeler @Hankthehonk around 6-8 days DPO I had twinges/shooting pain/burning sensation and it wasn’t like anything I usually get before AF. At the time I was trying to not get ahead of myself but I know now it must have been twinges from implantation. I also felt a bit dizzy over last weekend and very tired as well.

@Jealousofchiliheeler I've not had a BFP so can't really help but it's good to see someone else in a similar boat of symptom spotting. I am 6 or 7DPO (I ovulated Wed so I think it's 7?) and my boobs are so tender that I wasn't able to do my usual (treadmill) run last night, to the extent I had to stop and go on a bike instead. But I did a 10k just two days ago and was fine. This was exactly the symptom that alerted me to my first pregnancy, having to stop a run due to sore boobs, which makes me more hopeful than I maybe should be at this stage 😮
I've also had some tingling lower back pain last night and this morning which now seems to be gone. I wondered if that might be implantation....but also wonder if I'm just bonkers.

Question for those who have already got their BFP, did you get any symptoms beforehand and if so roughly when?
I'm only 7dpo but I have been feeling much more fatigued today, did my normal run and it was a struggle to complete it and I'm still feeling drained now. Also odd metallic taste (although I've had that before and tests have been BFN). And I'm still bloated and have a dragging feeling in my stomach, like AF is due but that shouldn't be for another week.
All I remember from last pregnancy was feeling bloated at this stage, didn't get fatigue or nausea until around week 5-6.
Trying not to get my hopes up though at the same time....

I never had a line this early. Although we got caught 1st time with our 3 girls so was never properly trying.

Hello ladies, I hope you're all well! Congratulations to those who have got their BFP & baby dust to all waiting.
I've been lurking for a while but 1st time posting on here.

Currently cycle 3 ttc baby #4. I'm only 8 dpo today but I've just got the faintest line on a FRER.

Can anyone else see it or am I completely delusional with line eyes. Husband's not home until later so I can't even get his opinion 🙈

AF is due today so maybe I’ll get another test and try again Thursday morning. The not knowing is driving me crazy

@MummyBear2519 takes about 2-3 days after implantation to get any sort of line on a test

I’m so confused. Had what I think was implantation this morning. Sharp stabbing pain for a second and then a few hours later a few light pink spots so took a test (admittedly not first wee) but it’s negative. Any suggestions?

I agree with @Jealousofchiliheeler @2021lady. My last pregnancy I didn't get a BFP until 15dpo even though I'd used early detection ones on 11 and 13dpo. Still hope for you this cycle 💛

Gentle congratulations @Smiffette! I too am ttc after a mmc and I don't know how I'm gonna feel if/when I get a bfp. An early scan to help settle some nerves could be a good idea. Best wishes for a sticky bean 💛

Don't give up hope @2021lady ! It's hard but you're not out yet, symptoms of PMS and early pregnancy are so similar! With DC#1 I only had the very faintest of lines on day AF was due so I'm certain if I tested early it would have been negative. All depends on when implantation occurs and that varies hugely.

@2021lady I know its hard when it takes so much longer second time round.
We fell pregnant first time trying with DD then this one was longer, coupled with my age, I was starting to worry. It is still at the back of my mind

I'm 9dpo now. Done a test this morning and it was negative. I knew it would be
I know I'm out this cycle as have my usual pre period headaches and cramps.
I'm just feeling sorry for myself. I didn't think it would take this long. Took 8 months with my daughter and were almost at 2 years with this ttc.

Hi I don't think I've posted on her but was looking for an October group as I've got my BFP!

Cautiously excited having previously had a MMC, will definitely be booking an early scan.

@LuckyYou13 Ah, sounds like we’re in pretty similar situations. Sorry about your loss - will be keeping fingers crossed for both of us this time around!
