Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

@B93 have you tested today? Keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP for you.

I'm 8dpo today and I have had exactly the same. Last night 2 quick sharp stabbing pains and then this morning some pulling, but both on my left side.

I don't want to get my hopes up to just be disappointed, if it doesn't happen for me this cycle then what on earth could those pains/pulling sensation be about? I shall wait and test in a few days, hopefully it was implantation and in a few days will have enough hcg to show up on a test 🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻

winterbabyrose · 13/02/2023 09:27

Hey, hope it is okay to join. We are TTC #2. I am not 100% on the exact day I ovulated but I think I am around 7/8dpo at the moment. Did anyone get any symptoms around this time? Also when is the best time to test? With my 1st I tested on the day my period was due, had no symptoms before that but just had a 'feeling' I might be.
I have been feeling super tired, my boobs feel a little swollen and my anxiety is a little heightened and no obvious reasons why I would feel anxious.

ThomasinaLivesHere · 13/02/2023 09:11

AF is due on Wednesday. I tested for first time today. Seems negative - although I understand what people mean by β€œline eyes” as you stare and stare trying to make a line out πŸ˜‚. I’ve got one pregnancy test left. I’ll wait to see if AF comes.

JD90 · 13/02/2023 07:30

Tested again this morning and think I possibly had the most faint of faint lines (though still thinking it might be an indent even though it came up in a few minutes) it's not at all visible on a photo so shall wait and test again (I'd like to say Wednesday but we all know it will be tomorrow) 🀣

I’m back. Sorry I have taken some time off threads. I think it really got to me last cycle, nearly at a year of TTC now.

Congratulations too all with your bfp πŸ’•

Anyone in the TWW 🀞🏼

I am 12dpo (although I could be wrong), CD28. I usually have 27-32 day cycles. I think I ovulated earlier this month so felt a bit more positive as I know my luteal phase tends to be short - giving implantation less time to occur.

I am tempted to test tomorrow… I haven’t had any spotting yet which I get 2-5 days before AF arrives. Friday I had a sharp stabbing pain in my right side. Yesterday morning I had a pulling pain in my lower left side. Could this be implantation cramps? Anyone experienced these? Has anyone had success on testing at 13dpo?

LuckyYou13 · 12/02/2023 17:10

Sure can see that today @Jealousofchiliheeler congratulations πŸ˜ƒ

@JoanneV looks like a positive for you too - amazing congrats!

I am 7dpo today. I've seen people testing from 8dpo but looks like mostly negative even when you go on to get that bfp (!) So I'm probably best off waiting a few more days to test at least... though I'm really trying to hold out for the day I expect AF next Sat πŸ˜…

buckingmad · 12/02/2023 16:04

@JD90 rhis is my thinking. I’ll save the expensive one but pee on cheapies from 8dpo

JD90 · 12/02/2023 13:45

@Natty83 yeah I was so convinced I wasn't going to do it and then was like, well I have a box of like 20 tests so I may as well, not like I'm going out to buy them... πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Natty83 · 12/02/2023 13:40

@JD90 Why do we do this to ourselves! Fingers crossed for you whenever you test next.
DS didn't show up as a bfp until 2 days after AF was due so you'd think I'd have learned something from that.
I did move the baskets around in our bathroom drawer so the pots and sticks were all at the back instead of sat on the windowsill in easy reach... just led to me dancing around first thing this morning desperate to pee while I dug them out.

JD90 · 12/02/2023 13:31

@Natty83 I wish I could say I didn't test... I totally did this morning, bfn at 11dpo, though I did look back a bit later and could have sworn there was something. Though obviously I know it's invalid and probably just an indent but I'll test again tomorrow and see.

Natty83 · 12/02/2023 13:18

@JD90 did you hold out? I caved and tested 🀣 BFN 10dpo, this time I actually promise to wait until Tuesday (AF due then). Surely that's achievable even for me haha

Natty83 · 12/02/2023 13:15

Wow congrats @Smiffette @Hankthehonk @JoanneV and everyone else with a BFP so sorry if I've missed anyone! What a lucky thread this month, lovely to have so many keeping the hope alive and spirits up for all of us, so pleased for you all πŸ’πŸ₯°

Natty83 · 12/02/2023 13:13

@2021lady I hope next month is the one for you although you really do never know until AF shows. Hugs. Fingers crossed x

Natty83 · 12/02/2023 13:11

@Hummusanddipdip I feel for you, it's the absolute worst having to be the good person and pleased for your colleagues when you're going through it all yourself without the happy outcome. Let yourself have that sadness, it's like a grief each month when it doesn't work out and you need to let yourself grieve properly. Hugs.

Completely feel you on the symptom spotting, I was earlier googling things like "early pregnancy legs and arms itching" which sadly gave me no hope, I think it's far more likely to be that we've just swapped washing powder brand 🀣 but amazing how powerful my brain is at ignoring obvious solutions like that. Tested this morning at 10dpo and stark white, as expected. Tbh I can feel my body gearing up for AF, my feet are bouncing when I sit which always happens a few days before.

Fingers crossed and buckets of Baby Dust in the world to you. I hope it's your workplace announcement next πŸ’ and in the nicest possible way I hope not to see you on the November thread when I move over.

Hankthehonk · 12/02/2023 12:29

@JoanneV congratulations! Looking really good

JoanneV · 12/02/2023 11:11

Broke my own promise to myself and tested the last two days. Pretty sure it's positive now. Gonna get a CB digital this week just to make sure. Line progression from 7DPO to 12DPO (today) for anyone interested!

Hankthehonk · 12/02/2023 10:12

@Jealousofchiliheeler yup!! I'm feeling incredibly nauseous today, I know I should be pleased my symptoms are strong and I am but I also feel like crap. I didn't feel this bad until several weeks later in my first pregnancy.
I am exhausted as I had a night out last night and managed to deceive my friends that I was drinking (I think- if they were suspicious they didn't say anything). But the whole time I just desperately wanted to be in my bed πŸ™ƒ

Jealousofchiliheeler · 12/02/2023 09:11

@hipposinacircle 9dpo still really early though, and cramps for a couple of days sounds very positive in which case it would be very early to have enough bHCG circulating yet. With any luck that was implantation and you'll get BFP in a few days!

Jealousofchiliheeler · 12/02/2023 09:08

@2021lady sorry to hear, keeping everything crossed that next month will be your month!

Jealousofchiliheeler · 12/02/2023 09:07

@Hankthehonk pleased but also utterly grim, although I feel like that's a good sign. Pregnancy really is the most perverse state though isn't it? I really doubt that anywhere on the internet you'll get forums of men going "oh my balls are feeling really sore and I'm knackered and nauseous, yippee!"

hipposinacircle · 12/02/2023 08:34

9dpo here and BFN this morning. I know it's very early but I got a BFP with my last child so I was just really hoping it would be the same. Feeling so low now. Have had on and off cramping the last couple of days so I hope something's happening and not just my body playing cruel tricks on me.

2021lady · 12/02/2023 08:23

14dpo here
No period yet but I have my usual pre period headache / migraine so I imagine my period will be here tomorrow

On to another month I think

CinderRosie · 12/02/2023 08:16

@Jealousofchiliheeler I see them, really clearly on the FRER too!

Hankthehonk · 12/02/2023 07:39

@Jealousofchiliheeler I see them! Especially on the frer, didn't even need to zoom to see that one. Congratulations! πŸŽ‰ how are you feeling?

Hopefulfor4 · 12/02/2023 07:21

@Jealousofchiliheeler I see them! Congratulations x x
