Joining in! TTC #2, cycle 3 of ttc and on CD 15. Got a high opk yesterday and have been dtd eod since cd 10 so hopefully we've done enough, although it took ages to conceive DD so I never hold out hope!

I got a BFN this morning at 11DPO. I got a BFP with my firstborn after AF was due though, so I'm still holding out hope. Did you go ahead and test today @ExcitedandNervousC1?

Hi all, currently TTC after MMC in December, no living children and I'm 37 and a half so not easy, took us 8 months to get pregnant in October. Using clearblue OPKs and taking temps which have been all over the place since the MC but got static smiley yesterday so hopefully will ovulate tomorrow 🤞

@Hummusanddipdip I’m not sure how soon symptoms start. I over think symptoms but…

With my DD I thought AF had arrived. My period length and flow could vary - more so than now. A couple of days after my ‘period’ my boobs continued to ache and then tested when this continued for a week.

I found out I was pregnant last April but only because of nausea and constantly being sick. Again I though AF had arrived. But same day I started with nausea. Unfortunately ended with an early miscarriage. I was so sick this time in five weeks I had lost almost 2 stone 🤦🏼‍♀️

At the moment my boobs are achy. They normally do around ovulation but it has just continued. Planned to test tomorrow 🤞🏼

I’m officially on CD1 as AF arrived today! Another cycle it is, let’s hope for October babies 🤞🏻

I ovulated Sunday, but my sense of smell is almost bloodhound. One of the guys I work with reduced the amount of aftershave after I started gagging just standing near him Monday, but even now I can't be close to him, it makes me feel ill. And then this evening I was sat next to one the women I work with and her perfume was overwhelming.
I'm pretty sure that would be WAY too soon to know, and with ds I never had heightened smell, but online says its a possible early sign. If I am, I'm not sure I've even implemented yet....
What do you think?

@Betsy21 you could be ovulating later. I had my bloods done over a three consecutive months to check I was ovulating. My GP do bloods to check ovulation around C21-25 initially. If you have a longer cycle they alter this. I think to know exactly when you ovulate would need more thorough bloods and scans not sure 🤷🏼‍♀️.

They maybe suspect you ovulate later and would like bloods later in your cycle to check this. Your hormone levels change in preparation for ovulation, then alter again. Your bloods could have shown the preparation but not the right levels to show ovulation. I am no medical professional though so don’t quote me on any of this 🤣

I suspected I was ovulating later based on ovulation tests and temperature checking. I ovulate around CD18-20. But my cycle is between 27-32 days. So some cycles I only have a 7 day luteal phase which is too short.

Currently on CD29 but I didn’t do any ovulation test or temperature monitoring this cycle so not sure on how many dpo. 🤞🏼

Hello just coming off the September thread as Aunt Flo is here! CD1, will properly try OPKs this month, last month was the first month of tracking ovulation with OPKs and I wasn't really confident on what to do! From some of the posts on here, it seems afternoon/evening is more popular time to test, is that right/best way? I was doing it in the morning so maybe why it wasn't working clearly! It is so nice to have us all supporting each other on here!

Hi all 😀A bit of a long one here, please bare with me. Currently on cycle 1 of TTC with PCOS. I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light please.I had bloods done on 23rd December due to my PCOS, they measured my PCOS and progesterone levels, however I'm slightly confused.When they took my progesterone levels on 23rd Dec they stated I was borderline ovulating and advised to get some further tests done (1 week before my next period) I'm due these bloods next Friday. My period in December was 6-8th December and Flo app states my ovulation phase was 10th - 19th Dec (ovulation day the 17th). Is it possible I ovulated late?My Jan period was 1st - 4th with ovulating phase of 8th - 14th (ovulating day being today the 13th). I've been taking OPK's since the 9th and these are all coming back low and yet to reach peak.Again is it possible I am ovulating later or is this just my PCOS playing up?

Fertile week is estimated to start around 16/17th Jan
If I manage to conceive this cycle I'd be due around 14th October (a month before baby#1 turns 2🤞🏻🙈)
My cycles are irregular but tend to be around 35 day's currently

Thank you @Superstorefan123 I wouldn't have know there would be bleeding afterwards so at least I'm prepared. Really hope it doesn't affect our chances of TTC this month. Although everywhere I keep reading says it can improve fertility so here's hoping! Will make sure to have some pain relief with me too 👍🏻

@hipposinacircle being completely honest I did find it quite painful. It is a similar pain to a period cramp but a lot more extreme. That being said, the pain lasted maybe 2 minutes total and I would do it again in a heartbeat for the reassurance. Everyone’s experience is different too, so you might feel no pain! I took 2 paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen before.

I felt quite faint after so wouldn’t have been keen to work but i wasn’t in any pain as soon as it was done so would definitely be possible to work! I did bleed for 3-4 days after (lightly) so be prepared for that also.

Good luck - the feeling of knowing your tubes are open is worth it all in the end!

Ah I always feel so far behind on these threads as my EDD is always towards the end of the month. Still waiting on CD1 here 😵‍💫 which should be in the next few days so then I can book my HSG procedure, so yes please @Superstorefan123 anything you can tell me in advance will help - mainly does it hurt? And should i expect to be out of action for any length of time? I was considering going into work afterwards as the hospital is nearby but maybe that's a madness?!

@MilkyAndFluffy haha don’t worry, no such thing as TMI here! We DTD on CDs 13, 14 and 17 so I think we’re covered if I ovulated around the same time as last month. The app still hasn’t been able to confirm ovulation but my temperature is going up so I guess that’s a good sign.

I told myself I would be chill this month but it’s hard not to get that creeping feeling of ‘maybe I’m pregnant’. Doesn’t help that I had a really vivid dream last night that I tested positive 🙈 I’m the same as you, I had no idea about chemicals until about a week ago! Trying to decide if I would feel better testing lots and seeing progression (or lack of) or just being in blissful ignorance.

@ExcitedandNervousC1 really don’t blame you and from what I’ve seen on these threads holding out to test is the way forward because there are so many early negatives that turn into positives 🤞

@MilkyAndFluffy Uh, the temptation to test is maddening! I'm trying to wait until Saturday, when I'm 11DPO as the odds of a true result seem reasonable by then according to the info on the link that seems to be going around on the conception boards at the moment.

Hi Ladies! I chickened out of testing this morning I got so nervous to see a negative (never happened to me before) so going to hold out until sat and test then at 12DPO! Anyone else testing this weekend?

@Geordienewbie argh, covid probably screwed your temp results up which is super annoying. Asking tmi haha but did you still manage to DTD around the time you possibly ovulated based on last month , just in case? Ahhhhh whyyyy do we get pregnancy like symptoms to trick us and give us hope? It’s cruel haha… I agree slightly too early to feel anything but that doesn’t rule anything out! I have everything crossed your af doesn’t turn up next week. Let us know when you do decide to test! I feel slightly put off testing before af is due after seeing all these chemical pregnancies (didn’t know they existed before these threads), but I know when I’m in TWW all I’ll want to do it test haha!

also agree not testing is sometimes a relief tbh and takes the pressure off. I’ve seen a few people give up testing one month and then it happens for them that month!

i finally managed to DTD tonight so CD11, the flo app says I’ll ovulate CD13 but that seems wrong to me based on previous ovulations being CD15/16 so I’ll keep doing OPK’s in the meantime xx

Hey! Can I join? I would be due on 24th Sep if I concieved on this cycle. I'm approx. 8DPO according to my Clue app but I don't do OPKs.

It will be nice to follow your journeys to partially distract me from the temptation to test 😅. It's my first cycle TTC my second child. I'm 32 and my DS is 2.

Hey all I'm 9DPO today so 10 tomorrow! Anyone testing this week? I might give it a go tomorrow and then at 11DPO
