@MilkyAndFluffy another bfn this morning which I'm so gutted about. I got a savage indent on the frer test too which I'll no doubt obsess over all day. It was the same last month too but I know from past positives that the line shouldn't need that much analysing to see it really. I'll probably test tomorrow and then just wait for af which I imagine will be Monday. I was really hoping this would be our month so the thought of having to start again is soul destroying but I'm sure I'll pick myself up in a few days. Let me know how you get on this morning X

Hey ladies - had a few days of strong positives but unfortunately they’ve faded to nothing and I’ve had a chemical :( so I’m out this month… hoping for a November double rainbow 🌈

@Sophie3839 i feel you, the wait is awful! So Sunday you’ll be 10dpo so sometime then and onwards you can start testing… let us know how you get on lovely when it does come around 🤗praying for a BFP for you!!!! I have heard that about the other non early tests which is why I started using FRER and won’t use any others now haha!

It’s such a long wait and so hard, really tricky to know when to test I’m only 7dpo so have to wait till Sunday at least and even that’s prob too early 😅

all I can say is the non early result tests detect at a much higher level like double so take longer to pick up the HCg. Some detect at 10mui/ml some 25mui/ml so a massive difference and it would be days apart for a positive test to show on both!

@TunnocksTCake well done you for going this far without testing! You totally may as well ride out till AF is due now! Wish I had your will power. Eeeek what sort of symptoms do you have?! So excited for you, I have everything crossed you get your BFP

@Sophie3839 oh thank you so much for that intel! So average implanting is 8-10 which means I totally could have just implanted today. There is still hope yet argh!

@Maxime34 defo gut wrenching, I’ve been so sad all day, but I have faith we both still aren’t out just yet. I totally know what you mean when using early detections you expect at least something, but as the girls above pointed out you could implant up to 10dpo and then the hCG needs to be detectable so I would say 11-12dpo is when we should class the results as more accurate. I know how hard it is to follow that cos I’m struggling to myself 😫 and it doesn’t make seeing those bfn’s any easier wow! I used a FRER, I’ll only ever use them tbh I just make sure I’m stocked up. So my cycles took a long time after the pill to sort themselves out but the last 3 cycles have been 28 day cycles so I think I’m fairly average/regular now, AF is due Monday 30th Jan so just gotta somehow ride out the weekend!
if your af is due at the weekend guessing you are a similar cycle length? Have everything crossed you get a faint something on your test in the morning 🙌

@Chanteuse 12dpo but I only have a 10 day luteal phase so AF should have come by now. When I had DD I had bfp at 8dpo

Well I splashed out on a FRER and it was negative so I can only assume that my cycle has gone out the window. Will start on the LH tests again and see if my body is trying to ovulate again

@Chanteuse that is 100% positive! Show us your FRER when you’ve done it if you can. Congrats!

I can 100% see a line and it def wouldn’t be darker than that at only 10dpo I’d do one tomo with first morning urine and you’ll likely get an even stronger line x

Congratulations! How are your feeling? Any symptoms leading up to bfp? Totally agree on the testing early thing, I can’t stop myself from doing it but it’s not that common to get a positive early. Many women only get one after AF due :)

Hi guys! I’m 10DPO cycle 6 TTC #1. I’ve had a vfl on a cheapie and a clear blue early detection. Currently holding my wee from 12.30pm for DH to get home with FRERs 😩

Also, there’s only a 66% chance of getting a BFP on 10DPO so don’t be disheartened if you haven’t had one yet! I’m not 100% convinced mine is pos yet

Hey hun @MilkyAndFluffy sorry to hear it was a BFN for you too, it really is gut wrenching when you've worked your way up to thinking and hoping this is the month. What type of test did you use? There's still time though, how long is your cycle usually / when is AF due? I didn't test today as it really broke me yesterday but will test in the morning for a definitive yay or nay. I'm pretty sure you should see a faint something on an early detection test by 11dpo so at least I'll know and prepare myself for af to arrive over the weekend. Such a rubbish feeling though and I'm right there with you!

@Countingchicks did you use an early result test or a standard one?
it could be the hormones taking time to build up in your system or it could be stress delaying AF

Bfn yesterday and now 12dpo. This is cycle day 30. Usually have only a ten day luteal phase with 28 day cycle. Perhaps this is my cycle now changing as I get older

Sending some hope @MilkyAndFluffy ! I read an article recently saying most successful pregnancies don’t implant till 8-10dpo with 9dpo being the most likely. Then it takes at least 2 days after that to get a positive test as the hormones have to build to detectable levels. 😊
