Sallie · 13/12/2004 11:32

Hester and Tania - good luck - we are thinking of you. I will have to be careful about over-indulging in alcohol this Christmas if I want to ttc as my next ov dates will be slap bang in between Xmas and New Year!!! AF arrived on cd28 and ov on days 16 and 17 according to persona so it seems my system is finally getting back to normal. Its taken a long time.....Sad

jeddah · 13/12/2004 11:18

I am 5ft and my dh is 6ft!

Do you think all our vast height differences is the reason why we are not getting preggers!!!! (ha ha ha ) Grin

Morning all!
Sorry about BFNs Hester, sallie and stnick. Sad

Hester, we're all here honey!

StNickschik · 13/12/2004 11:17

MINNIE1 · 13/12/2004 11:02

tania,
Are you going to have your op on Wed???

StNickschik · 13/12/2004 10:50

Morning all - hope the w/e was good and not as fraught as ours!! - dd being a total whinge pants - ahhhh!!! Anyway, as of yesterday morning fat lady is finally singing :( . Am very disappointed as you can imagine but didn't really think I was pregnant as kept doing tests and getting bfn. Was however, more worried about why I was so late (a week) - am putting it down to having to change my diet after having a food sensitivity test and taking pro-biotic tables for a month (injesting 4 million live bacteria every morning for a month is probably bound to screw up anyone's system!!!) Just hope my cycle doesn't take too long to get back to normal.
Never mind, at least I can have drink over the festive season now.
Not going to be able to post much now as can only really chat at work and now boss is back from 3 weeks sick leave!!

Tania2 · 13/12/2004 10:22

Thanks RudyDudy.

RudyDudy · 13/12/2004 09:54

sorry about AF Sallie Sad but at least you can have lots of guilt free indulgence over Christmas and look forward to starting again in the new year.

RudyDudy · 13/12/2004 09:53

((((Hester))) We'll all be here for you whatever the week brings.

Tania - poor you. I do feel for you, I would be having exactly the same worries if it were me. The one thing I did like about having a lap was that you can once and for all know EXACTLY what is going on in there which to my mind is better than imagining all sorts every time you get a twinge or a cramp. And hopefully they can sort whatever they may find and leave you all 'fresh and lovely' to produce a little one in there. Will be thinking of you on Wednesday.

Tania2 · 13/12/2004 09:45

Kizzy so sorry about the BFN but it aint over till the fat lady sings.
You too hester hang in there girl you never know what might happen. Sorry your feeling like poo thou nothing worse than the wait is there especially when you have all the symptoms.
Just got the call from the hospital re my op on Wednesday. Dont have to be there till 12:45 so i get to spend the morning with my ds thank god was feeling sad about having to leave him at MIL for the whole day and not being able to play with him so now he will just go there to have his afternoon sleep and proberly have dinner there so i wont have to worry about that either.
Really starting to get nervous about the op worried about what they might find or even worse if they find nothing and there is no reason why we havent fallen pg yet. Sad
ChaCha are you around if so can you please let me know about how you went if you dont mind. iam also worried about any pain afterwards.

Sallie · 13/12/2004 09:41

hester · 13/12/2004 09:27

Welcome back ChaCha! Nice to have you back.

jb - I can't believe your dp said that to you. You must have felt devastated. So glad you gave him the sack.

Colinsmommy - so sad for you and your sister. Big hugs.

hester · 13/12/2004 09:25

Morning all. I have completely lost my marbles. Have spent a fortune on First Response tests but so far all BFN (af due wednesday). Meanwhile, am getting all these symptoms:

nausea (worse when hungry or tired)
metallic taste
sore boobs (on and off)
bobbly nipples (not the medical term for it, I'm sure, but you know what I mean)
early morning wakefulness (don't know if that's significant, but it happened to me last month)

I've also NOT got the typical bloating and cramping I usually get before my period, but of course it could just be that I'm going to get af later this month, as it may not be a typical cycle due to mc.

I also think I have a low-level bug, so that could be causing the nausea.

I could also just have gone completely crazy, and be replaying what happened last month in my head.

Don't know how I'm going to get through the working day.

Don't know how I'm going to get through this week, specially if I get my period. I actually can't bear to think about af arriving.

Oh, and chocolate isn't working!

fastasleep · 13/12/2004 09:16

Hey... good luck vibes to Hester and Kizzy!!... I think I'm going to docs for some iron anyway flops over :) thanks for the concern girls but I feel strangely...ok.. for now! [confused look]

ernest · 13/12/2004 08:53

This has been a sad thread recently - Kizzy & Hester, really hope you get the good news you deserve - have you bought a test yet, kizzy? You going to test today?

sorry that af finally came Tania, but hope it didn't spoli your w/e - running to the loo that often can't have been too much fun tho', wherever you are.

ad fastasleep, sorry your news was bad too, nice to hear your dh looking after you.

And colinsmummy, so sorry about your sister, hope she recovers well from this cancer - 2 in 2 years - not fair is it?

Sounds like most of you are in need of some serious tlc - blimey, purses stolen, house sales falling through, family feuds, illness, miscarriages, truly horrible. ((((hugs)))) to you all. this thread is great tho, to have so many people to turn to when things are tough.

good news to hear your dh is back safe & sound, Canadianmom, hope he's there to stay for a while? You & the kids must be made up.

Lets have more good news

RudyDudy · 13/12/2004 08:52

Good news about your house hula - it must be lovely to get to choose stuff before you move in and then have it all waiting for you! I've only ever lived in old houses which are great but do always need stuff doing to them which can be a pain.
