TWW - anyone??

Hi - I have just had my positive OPK & CB digital ovulation and expecting ovulation in the next few days. Weirdly I had stopped tracking for a while due to irregular cycles and just had an urge to test today!

DTD today and plan to for the next few days (sorry tmi!) but wondered if anyone else is on the TWW - it would be nice to have talk and share our experiences 😀

@Louise0808 also sorry for your losses 💔

Sb86 · 05/01/2023 12:03

@Louise0808 don't give up hope, 10dpo is still early. With my last pregnancy I tested at 12dpo and was bfn then waited until 14dpo to test again and it was a BFP and even then it was only a thin line. But you're right, the tww is awful. When is your af due? Maybe try again in a couple of days

Louise0808 · 05/01/2023 11:51

Currently 10dpo into my wait. Had a bfn today. Had nausea for a few days, was sick yesterday, breast changes but still nothing. Weve been trying for 12 months now. Weve had 2 early losses and 1 ectopic. The TWW is horrendous but I think im out this month.

Sb86 · 05/01/2023 11:39

Hey ladies I've read the thread as I'm just a few days in to the tww so nothing to report symptom wise. Had a miscarriage in October at 8 weeks due to a Subchorionic hematoma which I'd never heard of but turns out they are quite common! We started trying again last month but don't think my cycle had gone back to normal. This cycle got a static smiley on the CB digi (first time using) and 2 very strong lines on the lh test. We covered all bases DTD thankfully my oh is more than happy to oblige. I use natural cycles and temp for bbt and have done up until this morning but going to give it a miss now until my af arrives if it does, just that in the past it has me obsessing over it and stressing that the temp isn't going up etc. I'd rather just wait and see if af arrives or not, going to hold off testing early too as on another thread I'm on there have been a few chemicals leading to obvious disappointment. So glad these threads exist as I don't feel like a crazy person when I see others doing the exact same I do eg googling every little twinge or feeling haha. All the best to you all and fingers crossed for some new years BFPs 🥰🤞🏼

@apples24 sorry to hear that! How do you know the difference between an indent line? Is this the same as evap?

I wish I had held off ordering my FRER, they came a lot earlier and it's torture! I'm going to try and hold off until Sunday (10DPO) to test - I don't think I can wait that long though!

I highly recommend conceive plus. Although only started using them beginning of December, it gave me a much stronger peak on my OPK and I got ovulation pain for the first time! Wish I had tracked BBT to see if ovulation has actually happened but definitely a step in the right direction. Heard a lot of great reviews too. Hoping that if not BFP that AF will finally arrive as they help to reduce cycle lengths!

I gave in and tested at DPO8 using internet cheapie. Got an annoying indent line. Bit I'm not too fussed as I knew I was being silly. I'm deliberately holding off ordering FRERs until I'm DPO9 so they'll arrive for morning of DPO11.

If FRER is negative on DPO11/12, I think I'll order conceive plus vitamins for start of next cycle. 😊

AROSE9 · 05/01/2023 06:59

@PrimarilyParented I understand what you mean. It's a hard one. I'm just going to see how I feel, if I wake up and want to rest tomorrow then will go for it. Need to tell myself even if negative it doesn't mean it's the end!

I randomly did my BBT this morning (I know you need to do it everyday to get the graph etc but I'm silly) and it's 36.08. Would that be considered high?

@AROSE9 8dpo is still pretty early to test I reckon, but if you have lots of cheapies then it doesn’t do any harm I suppose.

I’m trying to hold out until period is actually late. I didn’t test until cd39 before (as I wasn’t trying and was sure I wasn’t pregnant) so about 16dpo and I got a blazing positive then. I think if I test early even if it is positive, if it’s faint I’ll panic about CP.

AROSE9 · 04/01/2023 21:43

@PrimarilyParented the TTW really is torture isn't it! Keep us updated on Friday how it goes, it would be nice to keep this thread going to see all the BFP's.

I took myself out earlier with friends to keep me distracted and my headache hasn't gone - I also feel a little sick now but not sure if that's just me being symptom crazy at this point!!

Unsure whether to test Friday (8DPO) or wait longer.. what's everyone's thoughts?

PrimarilyParented · 04/01/2023 19:31

@AROSE9 I get the same most months and then some months they really hurt. They always ease up on swelling or pain the day before my period arrives though so I see that as a sign. This month I wouldn’t say they’re hurting, my nips seem a bit tingly today but I don’t know if I’m imagining it.

I got a load of ewcm today which I sometimes get in the lead up to AF, usually a few days before so I reckon it’s going to turn up Friday tbh as I just don’t feel pregnant.

implantation on cd6 isn’t a definite. I did implant on cd6 before I’m sure as I had a really upset stomach and was up several times in the night then felt rough for a few days after. I wasn’t trying and so chalked it up to being unwell but in retrospect saw what it was. Makes me think I’m definitely out this month as I haven’t had that again.

AROSE9 · 04/01/2023 17:24

@30mummy i ordered some FRER that were due to come Friday and have come early...feel like they just want to torture me 😂

@MrsL22 sorry to hear about your BFN, although you're not out till AF arrives!

I have a headache but it is my first day back at work which makes more sense 🙈

MrsL22 · 04/01/2023 16:14

Also 10dpo and BFN here 🤞🏼 Hopeful as it’s still early but will test again on Friday.

30mummy · 04/01/2023 13:22

@Hopefulx @AROSE9 I haven't really had any symptoms today, just my right boob that is sore to touch again. Must of pulled a muscle or something haha! I will update you! @AROSE9 you're only 6dpo so you have loads of time, just try and not get to stressed with the testing (Like i have done this cycle) So easy to say to other people 😂

AROSE9 · 04/01/2023 12:33

@Hopefulx 🤣 I never get anything really - sometimes they feel slightly heavier but nothing noticeable really. No symptoms at all today and starting to feel like it's not happened. Only 6DPO though but just have this gut feeling..

@30mummy sorry to hear about your BFN. There's still hope though! I wish I could wait until AF, I want to test already but just know it will be negative!

Hopefulx · 04/01/2023 11:13

Here’s a useful link which tells you the % of a bfp depending how many days DPO you are..

Hopefulx · 04/01/2023 09:02

@30mummy ah sorry to hear it was neg. That sounds like a good idea! Keep us posted, sending you lots of baby dust ✨

30mummy · 04/01/2023 08:13

@Hopefulx I took a FRER this morning - 10dpo and was negative, think I am going to try and wait until Sunday (AF due date)! I need will power haha!

Hopefulx · 04/01/2023 08:12

Implantation on 6DPO

Hopefulx · 04/01/2023 08:11

@30mummy such a small percentage of women get bfp on 9DPO - it’s pretty rare. Your definitely are still in with a chance 🤞🏽☺️

@MrsL22 good luck with your test today. Let us know how you get on. I was reading a blog and the majority of women don’t get symptoms until after missed AF so there is still hope for us all.

@AROSE9 😂😂😂 I don’t really get sore boobs either. My boobs swell after ovulation and then they start to deflate a day or two before AF. Does anyone else get that? I have got that on non pregnant cycles. Implantation on CD 6 is only 0.5% of women, so if you don’t feel anything there is still hope ☺️

30mummy · 03/01/2023 20:19

Thank you @AROSE9 the wait is just awful.. im just going to try and chill out abit now! Hope you get your bfp soon x

AROSE9 · 03/01/2023 20:16

@Hopefulx yes that's me! Every day I look up what symptoms I should have and if it's still too early to test 🙈 I've never really had sore boobs (even during AF) so keep convincing myself if I feel that then I'll know - it's silly I know! I also know implantation can happen from 6DPO and that's tomorrow for me so I think I'll be convincing myself of this..

@30mummy it all sounds positive to me! 9DPO May just be too early to rest so keep an eye out over the next few days... fingers crossed for you!

MrsL22 · 03/01/2023 19:47

@Hopefulx 😂 this is me everyday! ‘What to expect 7/8/9dpo symptoms’. I’m reality I don’t have any. Some of my food has been tasting a bit funny and I’ve had a few twinges/cramps but other than that I don’t think I’m pregnant at all. Like @AROSE9 said, not everyone gets symptoms! And definitely not so early - not out until AF shows. 10dpo tomorrow so going to take an FRER and hope 🤞🏼

30mummy · 03/01/2023 19:26

Heyy.
Ive been having light cramps today, more like twinges on left and right hand side. The side of my right boob is also painful to touch, near my armpit.. strange... i just feel like im symptom spotting though! AF due in 5 days and i had a negative test today at 9dpo..

Baby dust to you all!

Hopefulx · 03/01/2023 19:21

@AROSE9 thank you lovely. Ah that makes sense about the longer cycles and coming off the pill. It can take our bodies so long to flush the pill out.

No symptoms at all for me, but I think that’s normal before implantation. There is that hope that implantation hasn’t happened yet and we will all start to feel something soon haha!

has anyone else had any symptoms?

do you all find yourself constantly googling - “7 DPO what symptoms should I have” 😂 I am constantly on google and on here, we do have to laugh!

PrimarilyParented · 03/01/2023 19:11

@CRbear its not silly, you’re in with a shot by the sounds of it.

I’m similar in that we only decided to go for it on cd16 and I wasn’t tracking anything, so I don’t know if we totally missed it this month or am in with a shot. I think I was getting ewcm around then but some months I get loads and I definitely didn’t this month but had been sick with this rotten lurgy so I doubt my body was it’s usual self and I wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t even ovulate this month due to the sickness and other stresses. I swing between excitement that we’re actually officially trying for #2 and dread at the idea of waiting months and months or even years (#1 was an oops baby so no trying involved).
