Hi - I have just had my positive OPK & CB digital ovulation and expecting ovulation in the next few days. Weirdly I had stopped tracking for a while due to irregular cycles and just had an urge to test today!

DTD today and plan to for the next few days (sorry tmi!) but wondered if anyone else is on the TWW - it would be nice to have talk and share our experiences 😀

Taking charge of your fertility is a book, I’m not sure if it’s available as a pdf somewhere. It’s available on kindle but cheaper second hand as a physical copy, or you could probably get it from your local library.

BD is the same as DTD, think it stands for ‘Baby Dance’ but to be honest I’m not always sure myself it just only makes sense to me that way in most posts I see it on.

Thanks everyone. I’m doing that thing where you google everything and I’m seeing other people who have darker tests than me by now. So unsure how to feel 😂🙈
Had a chemical in November so I’m really reluctant to believe it

Hey!
so I had my first squinter on Sunday at 9dpo and this is how it’s looking so far…
11dpo today. What do we think? Sorry for the rubbish photo 🙈

Looks great progression @MrsL22 ! Tentative congratulations to you too xxxx

@Hopefulx congratulations, your line progression is looking so positive (excuse the pun)!

@Sb86 i could see the line on yours too, so hopefully the spotting is implantation bleeding.

@Floralsandsmiles you don’t have to test for ovulation if you want to take a relaxed approach but it helps to have an idea of your fertile period (taking charge of your fertility is a great read that is constantly recommended on here and it tells you about signs of ovulation). If bd every other day throughout your cycle or at least your fertile period, then you stand a good change of conceiving, but a lot of people using apps assume their predicted fertile period is correct when it’s not (it’s just an estimate) and so miss their fertile days.

Thank you @PrimarilyParented . Is the "taking charge of fertility" a link or a book? And sorry, I don't know the acronym for bd? I thought saving up DTD until most fertile days is best, so the sperm isn't "watered" down as such? 🤭🙈 'xxx

BudgetBuster · 07/02/2023 17:55

Hi All - new here buy currently 7DPO (according to calendar, did use sticks this month). Getting to those few days where I constantly want to POAS!

Sb86 · 07/02/2023 17:54

Congratulations @MrsL22 that test progression is great ❤

Hopefulx · 07/02/2023 17:43

@PrimarilyParented thank you! I still feel like it’s not real, but I think that’s due to taking ages to see a line plus not having any symptoms.

@Sb86 hoping it’s implantation bleeding 🤞🏽

@MrsL22 great line progression! Congratulations 🎉 my 11dpo test looks the same strength as yours which has reassured me!

I've just been to the toilet and I'm spotting brown 🙃 will keep you updated

Hopefulx · 07/02/2023 15:28

@Sb86 I would test again on Thursday as they say hcg doubles every 48 hours so you will get a better idea. Got everything crossed for you! This has been a better month for this thread vs last cycle. Got my fingers crossed for @PrimarilyParented too!!

Hopefulx · 07/02/2023 15:23

Omg mumsnet is so annoying on my phone, the text just does what the heck it wants!

Sb86 · 07/02/2023 15:12

@Hopefulx

That was done on an frer so I'm not convinced, I'm pretty sure I can see pink in the line with the naked eye but my eyes could be playing tricks on me 😅

I might do another test in the morning or just wait til Thursday when it should show up more if it really is positive.

My natural cycles app is saying Friday but I think that must be wrong as I've not been temping so it's just guessing. I'm not 100% on when I ovulated this month either as trying the more laid back approach 🤣

Thankyou that does give me some hope, fingers crossed for line progression 🤞🏼

Both @Sb86 @Hopefulx congratulations! I can see both lines!! Xxx

Hopefulx · 07/02/2023 14:01

Omg!! @Sb86 I can deffo see a line.. have you got any frer? When is AF due? Pending congratulations ❤️

When I tested on Saturday my first line was fainter than yours today and this was my line yesterday.. if that can give you some hope 🤞🏽

Sb86 · 07/02/2023 12:11

So I caved...seen a few people getting BFPs with hardly any symptoms and thought you know what I'm going to do a test and see!

It came up within the timeframe but it is super faint, it looks more pink to the naked eye. I cracked open the test so I could put it up to the light better. I don't have a clue how many dpo I am, I'm not overly convinced so will do another test Thursday morning and hope it has progressed.

Now I'm uploading it I'm even less convinced haha 😅 fgs! Ah well we shall see 👀

@Floralsandsmiles I’ve used conceive plus but I’m not sure what’s the best one.

here is a good link re bbt - www.naturalcycles.com/cyclematters/what-is-basal-body-temperature

Ovulation sticks test for a hormone called LH. When LH is high you’re about to ovulate in the next 12-36 hours so can plan to have sex in those days. If you Google how do ovulation sticks work it will come up with loads of useful websites for you to read up on xx

@Hopefulx thank you so much! I will be sire to read up on it all and the link you sent. Thank you again xxx

Hopefulx · 06/02/2023 17:44

@Mrsrobinsonx as long as we see line progression I guess it doesn’t matter how faint we start (is what I keep telling myself 🫠) will check in a few days. I’ve been taking photos so I can compare and marked on the tests which DPO each test is. My hubby said I’m crazy and need to relax 😂😂😂 xx

@Hopefulx me neither! Still got the sharp/pulling twinges in my belly when I move too quick or something, remember that from my girls pregnancies! And feel a bit tired but other than that, nothing!
and the line is so faint it’s making me worry x
