TWW - anyone??

Hi - I have just had my positive OPK & CB digital ovulation and expecting ovulation in the next few days. Weirdly I had stopped tracking for a while due to irregular cycles and just had an urge to test today!

DTD today and plan to for the next few days (sorry tmi!) but wondered if anyone else is on the TWW - it would be nice to have talk and share our experiences 😀

@MrsL22 maybe just wait a few days to test again. I will be 8DPO on Friday and want to test then but I know it will be negative!

@CRbear welcome! I have only been trying since September and have irregular cycles so I know the feeling 🙈 I ovulated on 29th and only DTD on 28th and 29th - it only takes one!!! I don't BBT but think if this time is unsuccessful then I will.

It's sensible to wait until AF late but I just know I can't wait that long! It's nice to know there are others in the same position. Fingers crossed!

Hi all! I’m in my first TWW too. I normally temp religiously but it was a chaotic few days - I got a positive OPK on the 30th - but as I didn’t temp 31st or 1st I’m not actually sure when (if?) I ovulated. We only DTD on the 30th and 31st so potentially only one time in my fertile window. Feel silly thinking there’s even a chance I’d get pregnant first cycle under those circumstances and yet I can’t stop thinking about it! I’d really like to wait to see my periods late before testing but it’s hard to imagine managing that… I really didn’t want to get obsessed and yet here we are!!

@AROSE9 that’s true! 9dpo and BFN on IC this morning! Trying to think positive and think well I may not have even implanted yet 🤞🏼

@Hopefulx so sorry to hear about your MC. I hope you get your positive soon 💕 I don't have PCOS according to my bloods, but booked in for a scan just to be sure. I came off my pill in August so hoping it's just my body adjusting. I've seen some stories of people conceiving on longer cycles so hoping that's the case.

BBT is so confusing to me, but hopefully yours will pick up again. How are you feeling? Any symptoms?

@AROSE9 it’s hard to plan holidays etc in advance but I’d say go for it as you don’t want to be disappointed not booking a holiday and also takes longer to conceive. And at least your have a beautiful holiday to look forward to 🥰

everyone’s bbt is slightly different but generally it should be above 36.40 if you have ovulated and progesterone kicks in. I’ve read online it peaks at 7 DPO and starts to decline ready for AF, but if conceived it stays high. Mine has already started to come down, I’m currently 36.60 this morning, there is still hope but I’m starting to lose faith for this cycle 😩 I wish we could just know on DPO 1 so then we can get on with life rather than waiting 2 two weeks to then be let down. But let’s wait and see 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

I am also taking conceive plus - I think ovulation pain is a good sign, I had this in September and conceived but had a Mc at 6 weeks. Sending you positive vibes ❤️

@apples24 @MrsL22 you're not out until AF arrives. I know plenty of people who have got pregnant and didn't have any symptoms - just a missed period! I've got the odd twinge/cramp but not sure if my brain is playing games or if it's AF. Currently CD81 so not sure if it's even possible.

@Hopefulx yeah that sounds like a good idea - I don't want to miss out on opportunities and not get pregnant either! I did start tracking BBT but it was mid cycle and I caught a horrible flu so thought I would just wait for a fresh cycle (81 days later 🙄). Feel like it's too late to start now! How do you know what is classed as high/low? Or is it different for anyone else?

I've also been taking conceive plus vitamins and this is the first time I have ever had ovulation pain! Is anyone taking anything else?

I’m also 7/8 DPO and think I’m out. My bbt has started to decline so I think I’m out this month.. does anyone else track bbt? And if so, how is it looking?

@AROSE9 ah it’s so hard knowing what to do. Could you book a room on booking.com where it’s reserve now and pay on arrival? That way you could still book it but cancel it if you do get pregnant.

A few months ago, I didn’t make any plans or book any holidays as I was always hoping I would be pregnant but it never happened and it got me really down. So I think it’s good to keep busy and do what you love and hopefully your pregnancy will slot into your everyday life!

I'm 5 DPO now. Had BFP with my first at 10 DPO. Hoping to hold off till 9th or 10th till I test. I think though I'm out for this cycle as our timing wasn't great.

@Hopefulx no signs yet doesn't mean you're out! I know lots of people who had no symptoms and just a missed AF!

@Hopefulx yes I hope so! Wish I could stick it out that long - I want to test now 🤣

We haven't told anyone we are TTC and our friends want us to book a holiday in July this weekend. I don't want to go on holiday if I will be in the last trimester but then don't want to miss out on a holiday if I don't get pregnant by then anyway! So, not sure what will happen this weekend...

@AROSE9 it drags so much doesn’t it. I will be 10 DPO on Saturday, will probably hold out until 12 DPO if I can. At least it’s a short week at work so it should go quicker!

@30mummy thank you for that I’ll look into it. Having twinges is positive! Sounds like something is going on.

I want a twinge 😂 but I haven’t had any signs at all so just trying not to think about it too much. Good luck everyone ❤️

@AROSE9 im not to sure when to test, im just nervous! The burning has gone now! It wasnt really burning but it was a warm sensation.. i just feel like AF is coming.. this tww is awful haha. When will you be testing? I will definitely keep in touch x

I keep feeling like I have little cramps but think I may just be convincing myself they're there. Only 4DPO.

@Hopefulx i was reading online regarding feeling your cervix but it has very mixed reviews. Basically if you can feel it with half of your finger its low and a full finger is high (strange but i thought i would give it a try). Not sure how true it is!

Im now getting a burning feeling in my lower abdomen but twinges on the right side too.. im due in 6 days!

@AROSE9 hey lovely, most people ovulate 12-36hours after your first positive opk so count it from the day after. When is 10 DPO for you? Good luck!

@30mummy hey hun! You have some good signs! How do you check your cervix? I might try that too - what would be high? I have clear cm like the fertile period (currently 6 DPO) but I read online that can happen as estrogen rises mid luteal phase - all this guess work 😂 good luck!

I hope you dont mind me joining, i think i am around 8dpo, i didnt track my ovulation but i had EWCM for 2 days and then it stopped that was around CD12.

I had a very sharp stabbing pain yesterday (7DPO) lasted about 20 seconds, then just a few tingles. Last night and today it feels like my right hip has a heartbeat of its own, on and off.

I checked my cervix and still feels high.. sorry TMI but ive attached pictures.. i am trying for my first so im not to sure if this is anything..

Dont really want to test as still early, AF is due in 6 days!

My plan is to rest around 10 DPO but I am unsure when to count DPO - do you go from the first positive OPK or a few days later? I got my "peak" on the 28th so not sure if I am currently 2DPO if that makes sense?

@apples24 it's so frustrating but I am just hoping it is my hormones catching up from years on the pill and nothing else!

@Hopefulx good luck! I'm just trying to figure out how to avoid drinking on NYE, though would be before implantation anyway (on the really low chance we were successful this cycle...)

Hey ladies can I join?

I am currently 3/4 DPO depending which app I look at. Enjoyed BD over the Christmas period :D

This is the first month I’ve ovulated after a Mc in September. Confirmed via ultrasound and progesterone test (although my progesterone level confirms ovulation it’s still at the lower end) which doesn’t give me much hope but let’s stay positive!

When will you ladies take a test? I think I’ll start at 10DPO, next Friday as our drinking that night so would be good to know before!

@AROSE9 I have one frer but then also have some clear blue early detection. Spend a fortune on tests 🙈
I’m really going to try and hold out until Wednesday but I know by Monday ill be itching to test

@apples24 yes there is definitely more cycles - I have irregular cycles (currently CD76) so not getting my hopes up. Another positive OPK but not as strong as yesterday but DTD - fingers crossed! I've just ordered some cheap easy @home pregnancy tests so not sure when to start testing.

@CLowers fingers crossed for you! Keep us updated!! I think I ovulated yesterday/today but can never be 100% sure which is annoying.

@MrsL22 which tests do you use? Fingers crossed for you and keep us updated!
