@Lal33 My O day was 5th Jan and AF due tomorrow or weds.
I did a second test this morning, because I love POAS 🫠 and it actually looks a bit clearer than SMU. And pinker I think? I’ve attached the pic.
The other thing is that my bbt dropped slightly today. It’s been really high for 4 days- between 36.8 and 36.9, and it dropped to 36.65 today.
Good idea saving the good ones for definitive days! My period was longer and O was a bit later than normal so I’m thinking Friday is my definite day. I’ve order a load of tests off Amazon so I’m ready!

Welcome @Cruzxo , I see a faint line!

Thank you @Sb86 ! Cross everything for me! 🤞🏻

Sorry to hear that @PeopleAreToads 💐

I definitely see that.

Save your FRER until FMU tomorrow :-) my O was 4th so we are pretty much on the same timeline.

I did an experiment this morning with SMU with an 'early detection' from Superdrug and there's basically no line at all, just very faint compared to the other very clear positives from other brands using FMU. 🤞

northernmam · 17/01/2023 09:35

@ttcat37 I definitely see a line!

PeopleAreToads · 17/01/2023 09:34

@ttcat37 that's definitely a line!

Not sure what's happened this cycle, as the spotting I had over the weekend was stereotypical implementation bleeding and I've never had spotting before. And I ovulated a bit later than normal and if it's AF it's early, which would make my luteal phase 3/4 days shorter than usual when it's normally perfectly regular. So who knows, wonky cycle or a chemical, onwards to February!

Looks like I'm out! Bright red bleeding started this morning, so onwards to the next cycle

Sb86 · 17/01/2023 08:45

@Cruzxo I can see a line, did it come up within the specified time frame?

Sb86 · 17/01/2023 08:44

@ttcat37 I can defo see those lines this morning, I didn't get a sniff of a line until I was 14dpo back in September so don't be disheartened. Give it a couple of days if you can and test again, the lines should have got stronger by then 😊 Oh and congrats 🥰

Cruzxo · 17/01/2023 07:19

Hi everyone is it okay for me to join!? 👸🏼 I think I’m 9DPO. what do you think? These tests just scare me so much. X

@Lal33 I’ve got one arriving today from Amazon. I thought it should be darker by 12dpo? And at least show up on a CB.

I honestly have no idea. This is my first time TTC but I got my first BFP on a FRER, didn't try the CB early detection until a couple of days later as they're more expensive and I didn't want to waste them 🤣

I've got the regular CBs and a dating one, but I'm saving those until tomorrow, by which point AF would definitely have arrived.

When was your O date and when is AF due? My O was super early compared to normal which I think is why I've been obsessively testing because the TWW was longer than usual. Here's my FRER at 12DPO compared to 9DPO (!!), still not hugely dark. A positive anywhere is a sign of the presence of hcg, so you're not out until AF arrives.

Keeping everything crossed for you today - I hope the FRERs give you a better indication. Let me know how you get on!

12dpo today. Faint lines still on the IC strips but nothing on the CB.

I definitely see these. Have you tried a FRER? XX

@Lal33 congratulations! I completely get how you’re feeling- I keep getting faint positives on the cheap strips but can’t seem to get a line on anything else. I don’t know what to do or think tbh.
I can’t help with when it’s safe to truly believe it but got everything crossed for you that this is a sticky one 🤞🏻

Lal33 · 17/01/2023 04:49

When will I relax 🤣

Got a +ve test at 10DPO, AF would have been due today or tomorrow and it's still BFP. Obviously I'm testing every day (!!) to be certain. And because apparently I'm addicted to POAS.

I just want to relax and enjoy it, but I realise it's still very early days and we don't want to get top excited too early.

As with everyone, I wish I'd not tested so early BUT I had very definite symptoms (peeing like it is an Olympic sport, cramping, mood swings and fatigue, plus unusually sore boobs) and I like a gin or three of an evening so it was important I knew so I could adjust my lifestyle.

I realise things can go either way at any stage of pregnancy and I'm not looking for definitive answers but I also know that being calm and relaxed is important. When can I stop stressing about my little ball of cells not 'sticking' ? I'm either 3 + 6 or 4 weeks today.

How is everyone else getting on? Am I the only one in a tizz??

Yolo23 · 16/01/2023 21:02

@Knov20 mine was mainly the most horrendous periods from the age of 15… I’d be doubled up in bed. Just absolute agony for around 2 days.

Before my op to diagnose, I almost had to have an ambulance to work as I was effectively in shock and almost fitting with the pain. It’s rediculous looking back but the pill helped manage my symptoms for a long time. I was told it was unlikely I had it but when conception just didn’t happen, I knew.

I had to wait for another operation then to treat the endo and was told on the first that I’d Likely need IVF but on the second the specialist said I shouldn’t so it’s still an uncertain game!

Yolo23 · 16/01/2023 21:00

@LotzW 😂😂😂 I’m a control freak too… it’s a challenge 😅

Knov20 · 16/01/2023 20:59

@Yolo23 what we're your symptoms for endo? If you don't mind me asking? Xx

LotzW · 16/01/2023 20:38

@Yolo23 Sounds like you've had quite a journey already. Hoping things go swimmingly from now on for you!

I'm such a control freak that this is gonna just be a nightmare 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yolo23 · 16/01/2023 20:28

@LotzW its soo hard to not test early isn’t it. Unfortunately I was forced into it before the chemical - but it was only 2 days before AF … I had to do it as I had a smear booked in. Took me by complete surprise even though I had every symptom under the sun.

my situation is fairly complicated in the sense that I’ve been trying for around 3 years in totality (was engaged and in a 9 year relationship previous).

I found out I had endometriosis and had an op to detach my ovary from my womb lining and remove the endo around 2 years ago… myself and partner have been trying only since July but in that period I had the chemical (and tbh I wasn’t tracking or doing it at the right time before October so count myself lucky and feeling fairly hopeful that something has changed since the op) 🤞

my partner is 32, I’m 31 in March. I can understand your concern but it’s happened before and hopefully, it’ll happen again ✨ it’s the impatience that kills me 😂😂 genuinely cannot believe we are only a week into this bloody TWW!!

ttcat37 · 16/01/2023 20:25

Thanks @TTCno1in23 and @Laul89 ! @PeopleAreToads I think we’re in the same boat… lots of testing going on here this week I think 🫠

LotzW · 16/01/2023 20:04

@Yolo23
Have you been trying long?

I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle with my daughter (1st was a chemical), but I'm 36 now and panicking that it will take much longer and don't want the gap to be any bigger 🤦🏼‍♀️

After my chemical on my first I vowed never to test early but I guarantee I will. So impatient!

Yolo23 · 16/01/2023 19:56

@LotzW heey! I FEEL YOU 😂

I’m cd23 and 8dpo… very sore boobs but that’s standard probably! Wish I had a few more symptoms - when I had a chemical I had LOADS, but I’m telling myself that may have not been a good thing given the result so lots of wishful thinking (and unfortunately lots of bed time research) going on atm 😆

trying for our first!

LotzW · 16/01/2023 19:36

Hi everyone. First cycle trying for 2nd baby here. 4 days po and already going insane with the waiting game!
Where are you all at? Xx
