January Testers (TTC September/October🎃🍂)

Will anyone else be testing this weekend? I will be 11dpo on Sat and likely too impatient to wait any longer...

@Knov20 hey! I remember, I felt so bad for you! And then it happened to me 😔 I was so sad too! I was just so so so gutted and felt like everyone around me was announcing pregnancies! But i’m doing better now. Hope you are ok now! I’m 6dpo but not doing any tests this month unless I’m late. I’m trying to chill out abit now since my chemical.

@Roxxybabe good to see you back. I took a bit of time off with my chemical - I think I found out just before you. I was so sad. I have just had my first period since chemical bleed and its been so heavy and also turned up so early!!

@ttcat37 Sorry to hear youre doubting your lines - just thought it might help to know that hcg doubles every 2 days, and everyones starting point is different, so it may take a coupe of days for it to be more noticeable on a test. I hope you get an answer one way or another soon, the waiting is the worst

@Roxxybabe I see it too and it’s darker and pinker in real life but they just don’t seem to be getting darker. I’ve got a headache this afternoon, always get one the day before AF, so think I might be out this month.

@Ncl31 🥺 awful isn’t it. Literally takes over your life!! I didn’t think I’d be like this when we started ttc but if this isn’t the month I don’t think I can go on obsessing like this.. we’re still very early into our journey so I need to chill 🫣
The gym always makes me feel better, I was there last night!! Let me know how you get on in the coming days and fingers crossed AF doesn’t show her face for either of us!! 🤞🏼✨

@Laul89 I’ve not had any cramps. Just had terrible acne and had a very heavy feeling this morning. I now feel very tired. I have a gym class at 8pm which will hopefully make me feel better and help me sleep tonight. I’ve Ben having terrible sleeps constantly dreaming about a baby :(

@PeopleAreToads yeah good idea, just keep testing and then you will know for definite!

@Ncl31 your wedding will definitely give you something to focus on, we got married last July - postponed from July 2020! It really is the best day ever and I wish I could do it all over again!!
Its annoying to have that window I agree.. I’m still having cramps and feeling heavy but no AF yet, I was sure it would arrive today, I keep nipping to the toilet to check and being scared to wipe 🤣🫣 I’m guessing it will arrive tomorrow though 😢 clinging onto hope here!

@LotzW aw that's lovely, don't panic it will all work out! I say this now and then next week il be pulling my hair out lol I'm due to test 3rd feb 🤞

@Babydustthisyear First cycle here too. I've spent 36 years only wanting one child and all of a sudden it's hit me like a tonne of bricks that I want a sibling for my daughter. I'm now panicking about my age and I don't want the gap to be any bigger 🤦🏼‍♀️

@LotzW awww hope it will have been enough for you! What will be will be for us both this is my first cycle and I thought I would be testing January but my ovulation date changed changed was early on flo and the tests said later so I'm not gona be testing until day AF due I don't want to know if I have any chemicals or anything

I've been tracking my cycle but it's pretty inconsistent so I'm now starting to think that I ovulated later than I thought. I hadn't actually realised until I've clicked on the analysis tab on Clue 🤦🏼‍♀️

@LotzW I am cycle day 16 I'm just excited now to be entering the TTW lol because even waiting of ovulation was difficult lol

@Laul89 oh it absolutely is. Tanzania is just amazing!! But obviously it’s not somewhere to go if pregnant. So I need to be super sure I’m not pregnant when I start taking my anti-malarial meds. Having stuff to look forward to is exactly why we have booked our wedding and trip to Florida, which I’m secretly hoping we can postpone but if not we will have an awesome time!!!
it’s difficult having a window for AF arriving isn’t it, I never know when I should test. Fingers crossed

@Laul89 thanks! I'm going to test with OPKS for a longer window this cycle and maybe consider my fertile window to be a bit longer to try and capture the right days if things are a bit wonky

@PeopleAreToads sorry I’m not 100% sure as I don’t track ovulation using OPKs or BBT! I had the EWCM at the same time as my fertile window according to my app though. I started bleeding with the chemical the day AF was due so I’m hoping I was still in sync!

@Ncl31 I’m exactly the same, due between now & Saturday and was really hoping for the best this cycle as we DTD so much over Xmas 🤣🫣 but feeling so full/heavy and crampy I’m convinced AF is on the way and feeling really down about it 😭
Tanzania sounds amazing!! Its definitely good to have things to do/look forward to isn’t it cos this can take over your life 🫠

I've been watching this thread for a while.

TTC #2 - am currently in my TWW.

We DTD quite a few times during my 'fertile window' according to my app but missed out on the last couple of days becuase we were away but hoping it was enough.

I never realised that it's such a small window to get pregnant - we weren't actively trying with our DS and I wasn't tracking ovulation or anything like that. We just happened to have sex at the right time 😂I also happened to find out realyl early last time (about 2 weeks!) and thankfully he stuck.

Now we've actively decided to try for another one, it feels like a lot more pressure than last time.

@Laul89 did you ovulate at normal time in your next cycle after the chemical? Based on ovulation date AF was a few days early, and really heavy yesterday but stopped today, so trying to work out what to expect from this cycle.
